Rising from Small Cloud Rain Technique

Convergence symbolizes stability, it is the manifestation of Xin Metal, while decimation symbolizes withering, it is the manifestation of Geng Metal.

Geng Metal relates to Yang, Xin Metal relates to Yin, Yang is Qi, intangible and only perceivable, Yin is substance, visible, the combination of both forms the complete Metal Element.

Ji An felt as if sunlight had entered his heart, opening everything up, with this understanding, everything made sense.

As long as Yin and Yang coexist, regardless of the amount, the nature remains unchanged, only manifesting more Yang Metal or more Yin Metal.

Ji An sensed Yin Metal continuously decreasing, Yang Metal continuously increasing, with the nature constantly intensifying.

In a certain moment, the last trace of Yin Metal vanished, and the converged Metal Element, like boiling hot water, revealed silver radiance through crevices in underground rocks.

A Geng Metal Storm appeared in the underground cave, like water gushing out of a spring, sweeping upwards.

At this moment, the Metal Element completed its transformation from stillness to motion, spawning fine droplets above the passage.

Ji An felt like a floating log in a river, pushed by tides, his body moving upwards along the passage.

He smiled, with Yin Yang mutual transformation in the Metal Element, from coexistence to single polarity, converged nature becoming flow, this is Gold Generating Water.

Strings of Geng Metal aura entered his body like bullets, yet caused no harm, with Lung’s Golden Mansion shining, transforming the incoming Qi.

The Five Elements Reincarnation Scripture operated frantically beyond his control, rapidly converting the Qi Mechanism into Magical Power.

In the Dantian, the Stone Turtle voraciously absorbed the descending Magical Power, while the boundary between white and black flames in the Primordial Life Fire blurred.

At this moment, Ji An resembled a silver creation, full of metallic texture.

...

At the entrance, Steward Gu Ze Wei was filled with anxiety, pacing back and forth, occasionally peering into the cave.

Even outside the cave, she could feel the formidable decimation aura, unable to imagine how the cultivators inside would perceive the changes in the Metal Element.

One cultivator after another escaped the cave mansion, all wearing bitter smiles—no need to ask, it was another fruitless day.

A robust cultivator with a bushy beard scratched his head vigorously, saying:

”Old Hu and Old Zhang haven’t come out yet. These two people can persist for so long, perhaps they might achieve Merit Perfection!”

The tone carried both anticipation and a faint bitterness.

Anticipation because witnessing a cultivator comprehend Gold Generating Water could boost confidence that had been shattered; bitterness because if the other truly comprehended the deeper meaning, it would be a bitter feeling.

As his words fell, a goatee cultivator and companions flew out on clouds, ”Don’t gossip behind people’s backs, Merit Perfection is not that easy!”

”Haha, Old Hu, how many years have you been here?”

The goatee cultivator, surnamed Hu named Jingming, pursed his lips, with his goatee trembling.

”Twenty-three years, still without any clue.”

His tone carried a bit of desolation, as helpless as yellow leaves falling in the autumn wind.

The words resonated among the crowd, rendering the scene silent with sighs in their hearts.

Time had been wasted in vain, without any substantial progress.

Gu Ze Wei’s anxiety intensified, now among the cultivators entering the cave, only Ji An had not come out.

The counterpart was a distinguished guest of her clan uncle Gu Mingyuan, getting hurt would bring disgrace to both sides.

Hu Jingming peered into the cave and asked:

”Today I saw a new face come in, how come he hasn’t come out yet?”

He was stationed at the passage, knowing if a cultivator entered or exited.

The bushy-bearded man scoffed, ”That newcomer is brave, I was at forty zhang underground, originally among the deepest of us, unexpectedly he continued downward past me.”

His tone held a schadenfreude, continuing:

”I’m very curious what expression he’ll have when he comes out, it must be quite remarkable.”

Thinking of soon seeing someone as ’tragically’ as he was years ago, he felt inexplicably excited!

Hu Jingming shook his head, ”Hope he didn’t get seriously hurt.”

In his view, the counterpart was another paying the price for recklessness, such profound lessons.

However, staying here to watch others’ embarrassment wasn’t ideal, he greeted his friends and they both flew away on clouds.

The cultivators gradually left, leaving only the bushy-bearded man and Gu Ze Wei at the entrance.

After a while, the bushy-bearded man felt the intensified Qi Mechanism of Metal Element beginning to recede, sighed, summoned his Spiritual Artifact, and departed.

He remembered his own past, back then to avoid letting others see his awkwardness, he stayed for a full double hour after the Spirit Tide receded before leaving.

From another’s perspective, at that time, the deepest newcomer would certainly not want to meet people.

Gu Ze Wei felt bitterness, an elder had given her a tough challenge, now she can neither go in nor leave.

’Sigh, promised to preserve oneself during danger...’

While she was silently worrying, Ji An flew out on clouds, his Daoist Robe filled with tiny holes.

”Elder, you’re out.”

Gu Ze Wei spoke with forced courage, lowering her head, not daring to look directly.

”Hmm,” Ji An smiled and nodded, ”I am leaving now, please help me process the refund for the Spirit Stone.”

”Huh?!” Gu Ze Wei suddenly raised her head, eyes wide like apricots.

She thought she misheard, tentatively asked:

”Did I hear wrong, the elder is requesting a refund for the Spirit Stone?”

”You did not, I will not be returning anymore.”

Ji An laughed heartily, the sound sweeping like cold wind across the mountaintop.

...

The red clouds resembled the Flame Mountain stretching across the sky, White Snow proudly stood on the peaks, the setting sun illuminates the snow, mingling red and white.

On the mountaintop courtyard, Gu Mingyuan stood with hands behind his back, gazing at Snow Eagles soaring in the clouds, capturing flying birds returning to nests.

His thoughts weren’t here, but flew to the mountain’s foothill, thinking:

’Fellow Daoist Ji must not be seriously injured!’

Suddenly he noticed a cultivator approaching with a Spiritual Artifact from the horizon, and as the person got closer, he recognized who it was.

Gu Ze Wei descended in the courtyard, bowed gracefully, and said solemnly:

”Sixth Uncle, I have something to report, Elder Ji has checked out his pledged Spirit Stone and left.”

”What do you mean?”

Gu Mingyuan suddenly felt as if he didn’t understand the meaning in her words, his expression was stiff.

Checked out and left? Wouldn’t one only do so after comprehending Gold Generating Water!

”Elder Ji said he has already comprehended the change of Gold Generating Water.”

Gu Mingyuan: ”...”

He couldn’t figure out how the other managed it, defied reason.

After a moment, he sighed lightly, ”Maybe Fellow Daoist Ji has experienced many Spirit Tide eruptions in other regions, and achieved Merit Perfection here, did he leave any other message?”

”Elder Ji also said he invites you to drink, three days from now at noon, Celestial Character No. 1 Room of Drunken Immortal Inn, choose any dishes, no need to save him Spirit Stone.”

Gu Ze Wei was conflicted, checking the records during settlement, Elder Ji used only thirty-eight Middle-grade Spirit Stones, giving two more as a joyful gift.

Perhaps as Sixth Uncle said, the counterpart should have experienced many Gold Element Spirit Tide eruptions elsewhere.

Thinking of this, she immediately realized something amiss, if they had experienced several Spirit Tide eruptions, he shouldn’t be affected by minor eruptions here.

She was shocked by her own thoughts, only spending three years, experiencing dozens of Spirit Tide eruptions to grasp the True Intent of Gold Generating Water—it’s such terrifying talent and comprehension.

....

Red Rock Immortal City, Ji An hurried back to the Grotto Mansion.

He took out a Blank Jade Slip and placed it against his forehead, recording his insights.

Gold Generating Water and Fire Generating Earth are markedly different, during Fire Generating Earth, Bing and Ding Fire respectively transform into Wu and Ji Earth, with Yin-Yang Qi merging into Earth.

Gold Generating Water results in Yin diminishing and Yang increasing within Metal Element, extremity leading Geng Metal to flow and become Kan Water.

Fire Generating Earth transitions from motion to stillness, whereas Gold Generating Water transitions from stillness to motion.

Thus, the transformation methods of Five Elements Mutual Generation differ and cannot completely rely on existing experience.

However, one principle is universal: the flow of Yin-Yang is the foundation of transformation.

From a higher dimension, Gold is Lesser Yin, Water is Taiyin, Gold Generating Water is the transition from Lesser Yin to Taiyin.
