Reincarnation Paradise Park

Ten minutes later, in Shiro Emiya’s house.

The room was brightly lit, with the heater blowing warm air. Su Xiao sat cross-legged in front of the TV, frequently changing channels as he tried to deduce the progress of the Holy Grail War from the various news reports. From the current situation, it seemed that the Holy Grail War had just begun.

Bu Bu Wang lazily lay on the floor with a sleepy demeanor, A Mu was rummaging the fridge for food, and Bennie sat next to Su Xiao, watching the news with him.

Shiro Emiya glanced at Su Xiao, inwardly heaved a sigh of relief, as from the current situation, Su Xiao didn’t seem to be a bad person.

Noticing Shiro Emiya’s gaze, Bu Bu Wang made a funny face, as if saying: “Kid, when a group called the Blood Gate Adventure Group appears, you’ll understand what it truly means to kill without blinking. It’ll surely blow your mind.”

Rin Tohsaka, sitting on the floor, held a cup of hot tea, taking a sip and breathing out warmth. Her Heroic Spirit was standing guard outside the room.

Rin Tohsaka glanced at Shiro Emiya, who was kneeling by the low table, and sighed softly.

“So, I’ll start explaining. You probably don’t know your position yet, do you? Simply put, Student Emiya, you’ve been chosen as a Master…”

As Rin Tohsaka spoke, she glanced at Su Xiao. The current situation was quite clear—Shiro Emiya was a huge advantage in this Holy Grail War. Given their classmate relation, she didn’t mind leveraging this advantage to achieve victory.

Rin Tohsaka began explaining the details of the Holy Grail War to Shiro Emiya. When mentioning the command seals, Shiro Emiya noticeably paused; he didn’t expect the command seals on the back of his hand could control such a powerful Heroic Spirit. In fact, he was overthinking it—he hadn’t considered how he obtained those command seals. Even the old bugs of the Three Major Magic Families couldn’t use command seals to control Su Xiao, let alone someone inexperienced like him.

After some explanation, Shiro Emiya roughly understood the Holy Grail War. As a partner of justice, he clearly didn’t approve of such mutual killing.

“A Mu, stop rummaging, that’s not for eating in the fridge.”

Su Xiao turned off the TV, casually tossing the remote, and went to the low wooden table, squatting down to meet Rin Tohsaka’s gaze.

“Magician of the Tosaka family.”

Su Xiao grabbed Rin Tohsaka’s arm, checking the command seals on her hand. Although Su Xiao didn’t need a supply of magic power, having a Master with command seals was important as a Heroic Spirit. Otherwise, he’d be teleported out of the Holy Grail World.

Shiro Emiya was currently the first choice, while Rin Tohsaka could be a backup. If Su Xiao, A Mu, and Bu Bu Wang acted together, Heroic Spirit Emiya wouldn’t survive ten minutes.

“You are…?”

Rin Tohsaka appeared a bit puzzled as she hadn’t introduced herself.

“Funnily enough, my previous Master was your father’s brother-in-law.”

“Huh?”

Rin Tohsaka was clearly baffled. She didn’t notice two spider-shaped alchemy bombs crawling into her sleeve.

“You know my father? Relatives? Also, you’re hurting me.”

Rin Tohsaka looked at Shiro Emiya, as if to say, “This is your Servant, aren’t you going to do something?”

“Well…”

Shiro Emiya spoke up, realizing he still didn’t know how to address Su Xiao.

“Your mage qualification is decent, but unfortunately, you only inherited gem magecraft.”

Su Xiao released Rin Tohsaka’s arm, feeling a bit disappointed with the Masters’ quality in this Holy Grail War. In the previous war, even the weakest participant was a killing maniac. The rest were either renowned magicians or magician killers, with the Three Major Magic Families all participating. Heroic Spirits unleashed their full power, throwing big moves around, even the golden flash drew out the ‘Sword of Separation of Heaven and Earth’. In the last war, a Heroic Spirit without a big move almost felt embarrassed to show up, like the Hundred Faces. Heroes like the golden flash, the Great Emperor, and the Foolish King were Su Xiao’s former opponents.

Now, Cu Chulainn was just tempered by Su Xiao and had lost quite a bit of Heroic Spirit energy. Heroic Spirit Emiya had good tactics, but in terms of raw strength…he was at best average. Of course, there were strong ones this time too, like the golden flash hiding in the shadows, Berserker Heracles, Witch Medea, and Dragonslayer Swordsman Sasaki Kojiro.

Thinking of Sasaki Kojiro, Su Xiao couldn’t help but recall his move, Swallow Reversal. It had reached an incredible level of mastery, achieving a multiple-dimensional curvature phenomenon with a mortal body.

“Where’s your sister?”

Su Xiao’s question left Rin Tohsaka even more confused.

“My sister?”

“It’s Sakura Matou.”

“I seem to have some impression of her, but she disappeared a long time ago.”

Instinctively, Rin Tohsaka moved aside, feeling that Su Xiao’s gaze was off and that he might cut her at any moment.

Shiro Emiya beside her had a normal expression, apparently not recognizing the name Sakura Matou, which made Su Xiao feel that something was amiss.

Seeing this, Su Xiao didn’t probe further. Instead, he sat by the wooden table, contemplating.

“Uh…”

Shiro Emiya started, smiling at Su Xiao with relative friendliness.

“I don’t know your name yet. If you have any requests, we can discuss them. Also…I have a request.”

Shiro Emiya sat up straight, ready to negotiate with Su Xiao.

“You can call me Bai Ye, as for requests…”

Su Xiao smiled at Shiro Emiya. At the moment, the Blood Gate Adventure Group hadn’t shown up, so he didn’t need to start a massive killing spree. He was sure Shiro Emiya wouldn’t be able to accept his decisions by that time, but that didn’t matter. At most, he’d switch Masters, Rin Tohsaka being one of the candidates.

“What’s… the matter?”

Shiro Emiya met Su Xiao’s gaze, showing determination. He felt from the beginning that the Heroic Spirit he summoned might not belong to the Orderly and Kind Camp. No, this was definitely not the Heroic Spirit he summoned, but rather, it was he who was used as a coordinate for its descent.

At that moment, a faint rumbling sound came from far away. Su Xiao could hear it, but that didn’t mean Rin Tohsaka and Shiro Emiya could.

“Bu Bu.”

“Woof.”

Bu Bu Wang got up, pushed open the sliding door, and quickly disappeared into the night. Heroic Spirit Emiya emerged beside Rin Tohsaka, whispering something in her ear.

In less than ten minutes, Bu Bu Wang returned, appearing out of nowhere and tossing a blood-soaked Contractor into the courtyard.

Seeing the blood-stained man, Rin Tohsaka and Shiro Emiya rushed out of the room.

“Cough, cough, cough…”

The Contractor, a man around 40, was severely injured and lay on the lawn, looking like he wouldn’t survive long.

Su Xiao quickly approached him, pressing one hand on his neck to prevent more blood from gushing out of his throat. Seeing this, Shiro Emiya’s ever-suspenseful heart eased a bit, taking this as a sign that his Servant wasn’t a bad guy as it seemed he was trying to save a life.

“Who is it?”

Su Xiao squatted beside the middle-aged Contractor, fresh blood spurting through his fingers.

“Blood… Blood Gate is… cleaning up this world.”

The middle-aged Contractor knew he didn’t have long, so he didn’t hesitate to reveal what he knew.

“Is that so? Farewell.”

Snap!

Su Xiao snapped the Contractor’s neck. The Blood Gate had finally shown themselves.

“Bring him into the house, he’s about to…”

Before Shiro Emiya could finish, the crisp sound of bones breaking interrupted him, causing his pupils to contract suddenly.

“Bu Bu, A Mu, Bennie, let’s go.”

Su Xiao shook off the blood from his hand and stepped out of the courtyard.

“I command you by the power of the command seal, Saber, to immediately halt your current actions.”

Shiro Emiya raised his arm, the command seal on his hand glowing red, yet…nothing happened. It seemed as if he had used a fake command seal.

“Student Emiya, your Heroic Spirit doesn’t seem too easy to deal with.”

Rin Tohsaka watched Su Xiao’s receding figure, suddenly realizing that he wasn’t a straightforward advantage but rather a dangerous Heroic Spirit that no Master could fully control.
