Reincarnated With The Van Helsing System

In case you wonder why was Arlion screaming when a ”simple” sword stab is far from the worst wound he had received during this fight, then don’t forget what was said sword made of, in other words demonite.

Which is an imaginary metal in which Aisha packed the aspects of mithril, orichalcum, devil sea ore, antinite and Disaster’s metal.

And right now, Aisha was using four of those aspects through the sword, to give Arlion quite an interesting experience, first and formal, like Aisha had said, Arlion’s lineage wasn’t of negative orientation directly, but that was earlier when he hadn’t fully released the curse.

While he wasn’t an undead given that he had a living body, that was when he was passing himself as Terry, when the curse was undone, Arlion’s existence ultimately turned similar in nature to that of an ”evil spirit” or a ”ghost” of sorts, those are races with extreme negative nature orientation and so, mithril would be extremely effective against them, so right now the past king felt as if he was being burned inside out.

Then we have the amusing result of him being a magic knight, which means that he had battle aura and mana in his body, so antinite and devil sea ore being inserted into his body should disperse his magic aura, but this is where disaster’s metal enters the scene.

You see, antinite and devil sea ore don’t have permanent effects, after some time without being exposed to them, the energies they block will return to normal, disaster on the other hand can quite literally turn either a mage or a knight into a cripple, because it doesn’t block or suppress but devours energies, so one’s mana circuits and even the magic core or the life spark can be stripped away by it, that capricious sword is not called ”Disaster” just for showing.

So right now, Arlion was having his magic aura devoured until his mana circuits dried one by one, and while he was actually able to move, the antinite and sea devil ore were turning him into a simple and powerless ”mortal”.

”Mmm, I’m not really proficient with illusions, but with a bit of help from orichalcum’s conductivity, I should be able to reach base Erin’s level”, said Aisha whose pretty violet eyes shone in a bright light of the same color.

Like previously stated, she wasn’t using all the effects of the demon sword on Arlion directly, because if she had used the orichalcum’s one alongside the others, Arlion would have died on the spot and he didn’t deserve such a decent end, no, especially because while only the sight of him refining tanks of blood into that tri-colored blood drop was described earlier, the silver-haired vampire mother had seen how he gathered each and every single girl from the angelfish race from which said blood was taken.

”Violet Empress Eyes, Black Terror”, said Aisha as she added orichalcum metal energy to her eyes which had their pupils turn into slits.

”Aghhhhh, make it stop!!!”, the past king who even when closing his eyes could see those violet slit eyes, screamed while trying to bite his tongue, that’s right he actually tried to kill himself but realized in horror that his body didn’t obey him.

”Those girls suffered way more than this, you kept the ”toughest” ones alive and continuously made them supply blood for you until their bodies couldn’t stand the process and yet they never let out a peep, so why are you who laughed at their misery not toughing it up like they did”.

In Arlion’s mind, he was being put through the suffering of each girl from the angelfish clan from the memories Aisha saw earlier, of course Aisha unfortunately didn’t have the time to maintain this for as long as it should have been maintained, so the pain was compressed and accelerated with the help of the orichalcum property and then administrated to Arlion’s mind using the mind affecting property of Aisha’s blood energy.

”No, no!!!”, after screaming until he lost his voice, Arlion’s eyes became lifeless, he actually lost his mind before his body reached his limit.

”Humph, coward scum!”, coldly snorted Aisha as she retrieved the demon sword.

”Thud”, Arlion’s corpse who still had its eyes open fell to the ground, now, there are two things worth mentioning, Arlion’s blood had a use for Aisha and his corpse was valuable for Daimon, as he was a system user candidate, so Aisha didn’t destroy his body just administrated pain beyond what having done it, would have caused Arlion.

Second, through all this process Aisha didn’t touch his battle avatar which had remained manifested but was suppressed by antinite and the devil sea ore’s effects.

”May you all rest in peace now”, said Aisha at the battle avatar whose tri-colored armor started to crack now that its owner had died.

”Crack!”, all the white, blue and yellow magic aura which formed the royal armor that covered Arlion’s battle avatar and replica weapons, crumbled apart the next second, not without the helmet of the armor looking at Aisha’s way and seemingly having the corners of its mouth bend upwards just a bit.

Tri-colored fragments fell all over the place, looking like a rain of petals that lasted more than what it took Arlion’s battle avatar below the tri-colored armor to turn into nothing, even in this aspect those girls were tougher than him.

But that wasn’t all, the reason as to why Aisha didn’t touch the battle avatar wasn’t only out of respect, while the tri-colored armor which resulted from the shark magic avatar whose curse had been destroyed, releasing the control Arlion had over it, which made the emotions from his victims, namely those girls from the angelfish clan, ”smile” at Aisha, and the battle avatar alongside all the replicas both disappeared with Arlion’s death, there was something on him which didn’t.

Namely that adult human sized tri-colored crystal, which unlike the armor created with the magic shark, was nothing but a pure condensation of ”rules” which Arlion had gathered with the refined blood of the angelfish clan.

”Luck really is quite an annoying power, its rule allowed that fool to force his way into reaching what should have been his state if he was a proper magic knight, but I’m more interested in why there is a portal already waiting to take that crystal to where it needs to go”, said Aisha as she saw a portal from which a familiar feeling could be felt.

’Yeah, and the portal is radiating that blond-blue haired girl’s aura, as if it knew that you would have destroyed it if anyone else was at its other end’, said Eve as they both saw the crystal enter the portal which then closed.

”Those girls would have been okay with this being the use given to the culmination of that bastard’s investigation, and it is beneficial for my darling too, so I’ll overlook the fact that it is too perfectly arranged to be a coincidence, for now at least”, ultimately said Aisha as she stretched her body to which Eve softly snorted as she added.

’Humph, what ”my”, it should be ”our” darling, but we’ll discuss that later, get ready, the gate is coming’, said the administrator girl.

”Yes, Eve”, jokingly said Aisha as she looked upwards, the sky inside of her demonite field suddenly cracked.

”Crack!”, the space split apart and a white gate with red metallic decorations emerged out of the chaotic space which repaired itself on the spot.

’That guy was nowhere near that ghost girl in terms of potential and to think a piece of trash like him was genuinely a candidate even for the lowest kind of a ”hero of slaughter” concept… damn disgusting bastards’, mumbled Eve from within Aisha’s mind.

The ”gate” that appeared was similar in terms of the ”holy” feeling it radiated as the one that appeared to take Lezabel away, because she as a devil system type administrator had to be suppressed by a hero type, however, there was a huge difference between that gate and this one.

To begin with the colors, the white tone of the gate that came to capture Lezabel was the brightest and purest white tone possible, not to mention that it was highly decorated with bright yellow details, it was as ”holy” as it could be.

The one floating on the sky inside the demonite field on the other hand, was pretty normal, it had a muted white main color and its details which were vague and crude were blood red colored, also in terms of size the difference was abysmal, the gate that came for Lezabel was ten kilometers tall, this one was around a hundred meters tall.

”Heh, despite its insignificance it surely looks all ”proud” and haughty looking at others from above”, jokingly said Aisha as she saw the gate project a red light which focused in Arlion’s dead body for a fraction of a second before it illuminated Aisha.

[By defeating the candidate, you have become a candidate yourself, congratulations and good luck in your trial…]

The gate which was projecting a lifeless message that half looked like the one of a system’s notification, stopped midway as Aisha said.

”How dare you float at a higher altitude than me, in a space that belongs to my darling and myself”.

”Violet Empress Firmament, Demon Star”, with a snap of the silver-haired vampire mother’s fingers, the red light projected by the gate was drowned in a pretty violet one which covered the whole battlefield, before a single ten kilometer sized white-silver star appeared above the gate.

”Boooooom!”, the demon star produced a huge white-silver light pillar which descended upon the gate engulfing it whole to then travel deep inside the abyss below, for the first time managing to illuminate all the way into it, before it reached something and then exploded.

”Crack!”, the gate which was being engulfed by the white-silver energy pillar started to try and get out of it while crumbling apart in the process, before Eve softly snorted from within Aisha’s mind.

’Humph!’, and with that, the gate which Aisha had damaged already, exploded on the spot, leaving nothing behind.

”Well, that guy wasn’t worth anything past ”Plan A” but his awakening gate was ”Plan B” level, good that he died without knowing that”, said Aisha to which Eve added.

’Trying to turn a soulmate of my sole and only host into a candidate, what a dumb thing, those close to Daimon automatically become candidate level beings, as for the soulmates, at the same level, low ranked users like those two are not even worth mentioning in front of them’.

It’s been stated that Daimon’s influence over others is way stronger than that of other system users over those that surround them, well, there you have the comparation from Eve’s mouth no less.

Those close to Daimon fall within the candidate category, while the soulmates with their grimoires can equal actual system users, this is in terms of opportunities, potential and the like, not directly in terms of battle prowess, after all, Sarah before knowing Daimon gave Adam enough trouble to postpone his plans to lay his hands on Jasmine.

If the crazy girl of present days had met the light hero idiot at the moment of his death back at Kerrol, archangel state or not, Sarah would have beaten him an inch of his life on the spot.

”Shouldn’t you go take a nap after using your power?”, asked Aisha to Eve who in response made a question of her own.

’I could say the same to you, shouldn’t you go to sleep to process the reward of your challenge or whatever?’, said the administrator girl to which Aisha smirked as she shook her head.

”Dream on, I stopped needing that past my first completed challenge, so I’m not going to let you have Daimon to yourself anymore, besides my challenge was not completed, that guy was just a warm up apparently”, said Aisha.

’Humph, you weren’t present so I don’t blame you for not knowing it, but Daimon’s origin has grown stronger recently so even if I exert some influence, I won’t get sleepy anymore, that’s why I can pay the others a ”visit” like this’, said the administrator girl, referring to how she sent her consciousness to Aisha’s mind.

”As expected of my darling~”, happily said Aisha to which Eve added.

’Of course, he is my host after all~’, those two were all competitive a second ago, but after finding common ground in feeling proud of Daimon, both got quite friendly with the other.

’I don’t think you are needed to fight alongside Daimon yet, so, that leaves that siren woman, you should recover first then, it will be a different level of a fight’, said Eve to which Aisha softly smiled in response.

”No worries, Disaster’s ability to devour energy isn’t the only one I integrated into my demonite, Nasha’s way to use it was included too”, said Aisha.

The black defensive metal field and the black metal cage which had absorbed all of Arlion’s attacks earlier shone in a tri-colored light akin to his magic aura which then… shrank and dispersed into silver, violet and metallic grey particles, those were energies.

”Devour Empress Treasury, Demon Blessing”, said Aisha as she absorbed all those energy particles which in case you haven’t realized were created by using the magic aura of Arlion which had been absorbed by Aisha’s defensive techniques.

She used the same principle which Narasha could use to replenish her mana with the one stored in Disaster, it resembles how Daimon could also refill his reserves from the mana in his monstrous but lazy ass magic core, the difference between him and Narasha is the ”fatigue” that doing so causes, the sword girl tired herself the same by replenishing her total reserves four times as Daimon did by doing so a single time.

It doesn’t mean that Daimon is any worse in terms of energy manipulation when compared to Nasha, that’s just an innate ability of hers, and it’s limited to her doing so from Disaster, as doing so put little to no strain in Nasha.

Daimon on the other hand remained the same whether he, or more accurately his magic core took the mana from disaster or from himself, it was a fixed price which is already incredibly low, after all Daimon could do so quite a few times before needing actual rest to recover.

As a proof of it, with this technique Aisha created which was based in Nasha’s ability, she ”only” reached a similar level as Daimon, as her next words suggested.

”The conversion isn’t as efficient as it would have been in Nasha’s case, but now I can fight for a similar time as my darling~”, said the silver-haired vampire mother.

In case you doubt it, Daimon had that capacity before becoming a system user, Eve had personally said that he was already a monster before they met, she didn’t ”change” his body like Adam did for example, but added a plus by giving him the apex predator physique, which combined with the blood rage Daimon suffered after Aisha’s death and seeing the manticore still breathing, eliminated whatever was causing trouble in his body prior to that day.

He was simply unable to use his powers for some reason which remains a mystery to this day, and this difficulty carried on in the form of his lazy ass magic core by the way, but as you see, just like Aisha had said, becoming a system user should be taken more like a magnifier than a miraculous trouble solving power.

’Yeah, all of them have worked without rest to catch up with Daimon, but so have Nasha and myself’, thought Eve to then say.

’I’ll take this guy’s corpse into the inventory and go back to Daimon’s side, good luck in your fight’, said Eve as Arlion’s corpse disappeared.

”Mm, I’ll leave my darling in your care for now, after all I’m feeling strangely enthusiastic right now, so I don’t think I’ll be able to focus in anything else during my fight”, said Aisha, her pretty violet eyes were glowing in a light of the same color as of current.

”Crack!”, the demonite field crumbled apart and then Aisha’s body exploded in silver-violet energy as she turned into a star that shot itself towards one of the two remaining battlefields, namely one which was divided in black-blue and gray silver colors.

…

At the previously mentioned battlefield, a black-blue shark mana condensation around a kilometer large just clashed against a gray silver slash in the sky to then explode due to the collision.

”Booooom!”, Karla and Freya’s mana cancelled each other on the spot and the sight of the valkirye-like silver armored Freya as well as the mermaid-like Karla who were both perfectly fine, were revealed as they came out of the energy explosion.

”Tsk that damn fool of Arlion, we took the trouble of taking him in and he went and lost so easily, what a piece of trash”, said Karla as she noticed Arlion’s aura being gone when Aisha dispelled the demonite field, to which Freya mockingly added.

”You shouldn’t judge others but overlook your own failures, those subordinates of yours are all gone too after all”, she said.

The usually serious and aloof Valkyrie-like Freya would normally not bother with messing with Karla, but she couldn’t help but wanting to mock her.

’I’m feeling strangely enthusiastic about this fight, a side effect of rushing to process his origin perhaps… that damn blurred girl, she left me jump into it on purpose’, thought Freya as she cursed inwardly cursed Eve.

Aisha had killed Arlion at around the same moment as Sera and Laila finished their fights, the difference is that when Aisha dispelled the demonite field, Arlion’s death was announced to the world, but even while processing their rewards, the death of the seconds in command was not registered by neither Ereth nor Karla.

”For a miserable bitch who lost her host twice at our hands, you are getting quite carried away, don’t you think… ack!”, Karla who was in the middle of trying to open an old wound in Freya’s heart, was interrupted by a silver-violet star which suddenly descended from the sky out of which a pretty fist came out and punched Karla on the face.

”Booooom!”, the mermaid-like administrator girl was shot down from the sky and smacked against a piece of floating ground due to the impact.

”Don’t talk to someone that took care of my darling in my absence, like that, you, vulgar piece of trash”, said Aisha whose figure became visible as she dispelled the lightning field which she used to move at high speed through the sky.

”You are… the one who killed Arlion, what are you doing here?”, asked Freya, she stopped herself before saying ”You are that guy’s sister”, don’t forget that Freya was with Daimon since he returned from Kerrol, she was ”hibernating” but from time to time she observed Daimon interacting with others.

Luckily Freya missed the intimate moments between Daimon and Aisha, but she did see them interact a couple of times before, so she knew that they were close.

”Apparently, Arlion was only a warm up for me and my challenge involves fighting her”, said Aisha as she pointed at Karla who was coming out of a pile of debris, she looked disgraceful being covered in dust and with her clothes having ripped here and there due to Aisha’s lightning, there was also a bit of blood on the corner of her mouth where her lips were wounded due to the fist she just took to the face.

”I’m grateful to him, but she is mine, I have to be the one to kill her for real so that my late sisters can rest in peace”, said Freya with a serious voice, to which Aisha raised her hands.

”Don’t get angry, I’m not here to steal your prey, there will be enough of ”her” for both of us to kill, isn’t that right miss ”mermaid”?”, said Aisha while putting emphasis in the last word as she looked at the blood on the corner of Karla’s mouth with her pretty violet eyes which had their pupils turn into slits.

’First that fucking half-dead bitch of Freya and now this crazy woman, why the hell is nothing going my way lately!’, inwardly screamed Karla to her insides.
