Reincarnated With The Van Helsing System

”Okay, let’s do this before I change my mind, Daimon place their vessels in front of you first”, said Eve, to which Daimon nodded.

In front of him now laid a white crystal feather pendant and a worn-out black metal bracelet, this reminded Daimon that he didn’t know what the process was for a life and death contract.

With Freya there was not much of a ceremony, once it was agreed upon by the two of them, she entered the currently ethereal silvery armor that was covering Daimon’s body which is her system’s proof and started the process on her own, with Eve’s approval of course, this is because her contract is just a temporary one.

”I’ll be the witness, essentially the life and death contract require the administrator and user to exchange something with each other, for Daimon remove the mask and then just let a drop of your blood fall onto their vessels”, she said which Daimon did after making a slight cut on the tip of his index finger.

”Hoh, so it’s not only your personality what’s devilish, definitely my type and this is the second time we meet up-close right, I remember you being a mage, but now you are clearly a knight though, must be fate~”, said Lezabel as she recognized Daimon as the ”demon of the elite class” with whom both Marcus and Adam had clashed before they entered the real Neptune back then.

Daimon is indeed quite handsome, one must give credit to Aisha’s genes in part for that, also he has a combination of the wild charm of a knight exclusive race with the elegance of a mage exclusive one perfectly meshed into his appearance, all of which is his natural state and therefore can’t be restrained at will.

”Leave that for later, you two, a feather… little angel you give him one feather from the wings on your back, as for you, besides those horns I saw back then, do you have other racial trait?”, said Eve who in a rush to change the subject, committed the mistake of forgetting that Lezabel was not a member of the heavenly winged race anymore.

”Mmm my eyes I guess, to begin with I don’t know to what race do I belong now, I only know that I’m not a devil type one, which is amusing, they made me a devil king system administrator but didn’t have the guts to ”punish” me with a devil form”, said Lezabel.

”That’s normal, you would have been dangerous or more accurately unpredictable if they did that, if you ever found a host which you could trust with everything you have, you both might have gotten a chance to break away from the system’s control”, answered Eve to then add.

”I also don’t know what specific race you became, but it must fall within the ”Evil Spirit” category and one of extreme negative orientation as well”.

”Oh well, it’s just a horn or an eye, it will grow back with some origin and my new contractor can provide right…”, just as a pair of pretty upwards pointing black-red horns appeared on Lezbel’s head, for the ghost girl to pluck one of them, Daimon stopped her hand, of course she is a projection which means she is incorporeal, but there was a sense of ”touch” to it, Daimon felt it earlier when she leaned her arms on his shoulder.

”A lock of your hair will work, that was another aspect of yours which changed right”, said Daimon to which Lezabel nodded though she couldn’t help but add.

”It’s not a racial trait from what I can tell though, will it work?”, asked the ghost girl to Eve.

”If Daimon says that it will work, then it will be enough”, said Eve while thinking to her insides.

’After all the system and myself are just the witnesses, but the tie is being done through Daimon’s lineage’.

Ariel extended her right hand and a pretty white colored feather with light golden toned borders appeared above her palm to then float towards Daimon and be absorbed into his body.

For Lezabel, she slashed her right hand at her head with way less strength than what she was going to use to remove her horn, taking a few strands of her black hair to then tie one of their ends together, before sending it flying into Daimon’s body.

”Hssss!”, there was no change for Daimon, but the physical vessels of those two let out sizzling sounds, Ariel’s white crystal feather pendant compacted to a much more elegant size and then was covered in beautiful golden details.

Lezabel’s rust and crack filled bracelet was repaired on the spot, then the previously regular black tone of the metal grew way darker, to the point that the thing seemed to be distorting the light in its surroundings, now it looked like the vessel of an administrator.

”Holy hell, is this really origin!”, exclaimed the ghost girl, her red pupils now had a permanent faint glow of the same color on them, her already black hair darkened a couple of tones as well, almost reaching the same color as her vessel, as if to not interfere with that, her originally pure black dress gained some intricate red patterns which created a pretty contrast with her white pale skin, giving her an otherworldly and ethereal aura, the cherry on top were a pair lustrous black and red horns on top of her head, which unlike before didn’t look like bones dyed of black and red tone, but as if they were made of the highest quality onyx and ruby, she looked charmingly ”evil”.

In Lezabel’s case her outstanding appearance was mostly accentuated, but no ”drastic” change happened to her, Ariel on the other hand, first and formal grew up, from her previous twelve to thirteen year old appearance to a girl in her middle teenage years, which felt ”right” to her when compared to her previous appearance.

”I was only keeping my wings hidden for the energy saving more, after I became an administrator, I stopped aging and the only change that would have been allowed was a fake one to either fit the likings of the host or match his image of what a light angel should look like both meant to improve the closeness between the system and the host, which I absolutely refused, but this… this is ”just” me”, mumbled Ariel as she looked at herself while smiling.

”Just like with users, administrators end up in the role due to a different plethora of reasons, so it’s not rare to see some who look quite young and didn’t reach the prime appearance of their race when they would be able to better exert their powers, so there are chances even for them, though the requirements are normally really harsh to fulfill, in exchange it’s not a fake external change but actual development for the administrator”, said Eve to then add with a proud voice.

”But that doesn’t apply to Daimon, his origin can break through all the limitations and help you attain the initial stage of the most suitable form of your race, from that point onwards it depends on you though, speaking of which those are some pretty interesting wings you have, both in terms of color and distribution”.

Eve’s words returned the attention to Ariel’s appearance, besides the obviously taller, much more refined figure she now had, there were other major changes, her wings were probably the most eye catching, not only were the ones on her back now proper flesh ones, their white feathers had a dazzling golden border and the same applied to her other pairs of wings.

Besides the ones on her back, Ariel had another three pairs of wings, they were all energy ones, two pairs were placed next to her ankles one for each of her feet, as for the last pair, they floated next to her head a bit above her ears, all of them were main white colored but had a dazzling golden border.

Her originally honey light brown hair, also had a golden tinge to it and most notoriously, her previous simple outfit now presented white and golden metallic light armor covering her vitals, she was still barefooted though, something she amusingly shared with Lezabel, still she went from looking like an emotionless ”sacred” child, to a strong looking young miss with an actual holy feeling to herself, not the type to be adored and looked from afar isolated from others, but the type to be approached with respect instead.

”Of course they are, when I said that ”I gifted her my wings” I meant it literally, if I was the most dazzling and talented ever member of my race, my sister is something that had never existed in the heavenly winged race, her wings are proof of it, as you probably already noticed~”, said Lezabel, to which Eve explained.

”The purest light lineage among the heavenly winged race, means that your wings must have been either absolutely white or bright yellow colored, golden winged angels are metal affinity ones after all, and yet I don’t feel anything but light element coming from that little angel, not to mention that the ”crown wings”, shouldn’t be attainable below the eight pair normally”.

”Well, no matter what I did I couldn’t pass that limitation, so I had to be satisfied with them being my fifth pair, but Ariel wasn’t lacking when compared to me, she was just too young, and with my wings living in her now, it’s only normal that she achieved what I couldn’t and have them as their fourth pair, that’s the perfect timing as it closes the first great circle as well~”.

’I see, she is planning to make the remaining two pairs of ”combat wings” into ”crown wings” to close the remaining two great circles, certainly that little angel is something that has never existed in the heavenly winged race… but so is the one who can think on doing something like this, that’s not the comprehension a ”demi” level being should have, what’s more the system absolutely must not have allowed her to obtain knowledge past her realm when she wasn’t an administrator, so this is something she acquired long before she became an administrator, well, considering her battle prowess it should be expected that she had a secret or two’, thought Eve to then return to the real world as she heard Lezabel adding.

”Still, at that age you can have another pair of wings Ariel, let’s just ask our provider to give you more origin so that you can grow up strong and healthy”, said the ghost girl as she floated towards Daimon, only for Eve to say.

”Don’t even think about it, unlike others, Daimon produces origin without the need to do anything, therefore the influx is not eventual like with other hosts but continuous, that’s why you can remain like that at all times if you want to, however it’s not only his production ratio what’s unique, the properties of Daimon’s origin are too, the quality increases alongside the quantity and once the amount has been initially decided it can be increased but not decreased, your sister and you are set at ten and twenty percent of his current peak, respectively”.

”Woah, I thought this level of origin was already hell intense, more than this and it could be ”addictive” for administrators, and you are telling me this is just a fifth part of it which more than triples the quality of my strongest host, while he is a mortal too, how devilish~”, said the ghost girl as she looked at Daimon as if he was some kind of unidentified magical creature.

”Something like that, once you get used to it, the limit can be adjusted but there is a need for a period of adaptation, after which you’ll not only be fine but also will need origin of higher quality since there are other ”benefits” brought by Daimon’s origin”, said Eve to then add with a mischievous voice.

”By the way, our ”missing” fellow administrator is not gracing us with her presence, because she was a bit too impatient, didn’t wait for me to explain things through and thought that since hers was a temporary contract, she could simply take the highest limit of origin it could be supplied to her, which is forty percent”.

”Pffft, she must be flying at ninth heaven right now then~” said Lezabel as she laughed out loud.

”Ahem, sister don’t make fun of miss Freya”, softly scolded Ariel, with ten percent she felt a warm and safe feeling, Lezabel with her higher tolerance was clearly having fun but even she commented about the ”intensity” of it, so one could imagine the trouble Freya threw herself into.

Speaking of which, Daimon could feel a slight tremble coming from the ethereal armor covering his body, probably caused by Freya listening to those two making fun of her, while unable to participate in the conversation.

’Don’t mind them for now, focus in coming out as soon as possible, we are going after Ereth next’, thought Daimon which returned the ethereal armor to its usual aloof and composed state.

”Now, I wonder what am I going to do with you?”, said Daimon as he looked at Marcus, he wasn’t taking about the devil ruler system user’s corpse, that was going to the storage for later usage just like Adam’s, this question was specifically directed at the black metal gauntlets that remained ”silent” as if trying to pass as a dead object, but were Marcus’s promise level treasure.

”Now that you mention it, where is the light idiot’s sword, did you not use it because Marcus could have recognized it, but then you could have simply changed its shape with your origin, what’s more, even I couldn’t tell you were a user until you revealed it yourself, so there is no way Marcus would have noticed he was fighting against an enemy with a promise level treasure, even if he was clashing head on with you?”, asked Lezabel.

”I’m trying to adhere to the rules of the blood prison realm as much as possible for my challenge, so no magic equipment, but more importantly while other equipment might be okay, weapons are subject to harsher conditions especially swords, I already have the best battle companion after all”, said Daimon which made Nasha who had remained out of the conversation, finally join.

”Of course, I’ll break any swords that try to take Daimon from me~”, said the sword girl, which took Lezabel by surprise.

”Five timing… no, she is not an administrator, but I also don’t feel the presence of a promise level treasure, was there a magic weapon in the four galaxies capable of birthing and maintaining a proper spiritual existence?”, asked the ghost girl, at this point she knew Daimon was the ”demon of the elite class” which is publicly known to be a part of the Revy and Argent families; therefore, he is a native of the four galaxies.

”I’m Narasha one of Daimon’s soulmates, the way you protected Ariel was cool, but if you want to be one of Daimon’s soulmates you have to be accepted by all of us!”, exclaimed Nasha, though she seemed to like Lezabel after listening to her story, that was a as a friend, if she wanted to be one of Daimon’s lovers that was a different subject.

”Hoh, so there are ”final bosses” to beat, this just keeps getting more interesting~”, said the ghost girl.

”Ahem, back to the subject, Nasha, Eve, what do you think of these gauntlets?”, asked Daimon.

”Let’s see their basic specs”, said Eve, which was followed by a notification and a message screen from the system.

[Ding]

[Congratulations on obtaining the Promise level treasure ”Hell Ruler Gauntlets”]

[Hell Ruler Gauntlets: An ancient weapon that is granted only to devil kings of darkness with potential to rule over a layer of hell]

[Permanent Characteristics:

[Promise: The weapon will adapt to the user and grow with it (If it changes ownership, any previously gained characteristics will be reset]

[Hell’s Favor: Any lineage with negative orientation and darkness will receive a 10% boost, when wielding it]

[Hell’s Enhance: While fighting in an environment worthy of being called ”hell” the damage to enemies will be increased up to 50%]

[Personal abilities: None (please refine the gauntlets with your energy and blood to activate promise, the process might take time depending on the user)]

’Not bad, but they aren’t the protective type I’m looking for’, thought Daimon, they had a condition for the last characteristic but the multiplier was higher than that of the Trident of the Storm in exchange.

”That Ereth guy’s concept is higher ranked than the ”Devil Ruler” but these gauntlet’s initial setting is on par with those of that trident, they are worth keeping”, concluded Eve.

”Mmm, they are not annoying by themselves it was that guy’s doing apparently, but still, I would prefer Daimon to directly wield me without any interference”, mumbled Nasha.

Outside of the blood prison realm, Daimon had obtained magic equipment gloves which completely focus in absorbing impact, Narasha is fine with them because they are just gloves and don’t have consciousness, and while the gauntlets have yet to properly form one, as a promise level treasure, they will at some point.

Though the sword girl allowed some rare exceptions like Jasmine to wield her, she wasn’t getting in between her special time with Daimon like she felt gauntlets with consciousness would.

”You wouldn’t use them as of current anyway and their existence is not really beneficial for Nasha, so keep them in the storage for now”, said Eve, which sealed the deal, if she ”objected” against the gauntlets being recycled unlike with Adam’s sword or didn’t show the neutral stance she took when it came to the trident, there must be some use for them, so Daimon didn’t doubt it and sent them into the storage.

”Let’s go, I want to take a look at my teammates to decide how we’ll proceed from here”, said Daimon as he pointed his hand at Marcus’s corpse to then send it into the inventory, the black sea emblem surprisingly didn’t complain, well, compared to when Marcus screwed himself over by throwing a curse at Daimon, which was not countered with the usage of energies, just sending a few things into the storage was nothing.

Daimon jumped into the air and then his body exploded in bright yellow lightning as he flashed towards the jungle where the battlefields of the others were.

’So that’s what other people’s system’s interface look like, what’s going to happen to ours though, we are definitely in a contract but I don’t think you can access our systems as of current, do we need to ”deepen” our connection or something, I wouldn’t mind it~’, said Lezabel, both Ariel and herself were floating next to Daimon, but were now only noticeable for him.

’No need for that, it’s due to the period of adaptation, still the result won’t be exactly what you expect, so be prepared for it, dear heavens, now I know what that nightmare sparrow girl feels when dealing with the crazy one, I need some rest, Nasha you keep an eye on her’, said Eve as she closed her eyes to sleep a bit.

Daimon couldn’t help but chuckle to his insides, though she said that, he could tell that Eve was happy to have more administrators maybe not surrounding her, but allied with him.

’Things have gotten quite lively and speaking of that…’, the first stop wasn’t any of the members of his team which should be underground their rewarding process, but a barren land half painted in darkness and half painted in light, where two girls were now sitting on the ground glaring at each other as if it was a contest of some kind.

Those were naturally, Sera and Laila who had been missing since the clash between both parties started, as per the plan, the two were in a rather disheveled state as a sign of the fierce battle they had, but there was no real life-threatening wound on neither of them, in fact even the scarce scratches they had gotten were all far from any vital point, as a proof that they didn’t really try to kill each other.

”See, I told you there was absolutely no way that guy would win”, said Sera with a smile as she saw Daimon descending from the sky.

”Hi, masked boy, an annoyingly too good of a person, suffering companion of mine told me that… you are a decent guy”, said Laila as she got up, to which Daimon materialized the now perfectly detailed and taken care of, black metal bracelet which was Lezabel system’s proof.

”It depends on who I’m dealing with, I would say, but overall, I guess it’s true”, answered Daimon.
