Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1314: Breakfast and Banter ( 1314 )

The next morning.

Armand Nation.

Armand Estate, Javier’s Room.

Myra and Juria finished checking Gracelle’s condition, their expressions calm and professional. Myra smiled warmly as she closed her medical kit.

”Your condition is improving well, Miss Gracelle. You just need to take slow walks around the room or the hallway to regain your strength. Nothing too strenuous, but gentle movement will help.”

Gracelle nodded, a soft smile on her lips before she glanced at Myra with hopeful eyes. ”So... can I... umm... eat chocolate now?”

Myra smiled and shook her head gently. ”Not yet, Miss Gracelle. It’s not that your body isn’t ready, but without permission from His Highness, who performed the surgery and knows your condition best, we cannot authorize any new foods. We need to follow his instructions to ensure your full recovery.”

”Oh...” Gracelle’s smile faltered slightly, a hint of disappointment flickering in her eyes before she nodded. ”I understand...”

She glanced over at Mimi and Delya, who were sitting nearby, eating their breakfast, served by the maids. Mimi sat slumped in her chair, her ears drooping and her tail limp, poking at her food with a fork, looking like she had just been dragged out of bed and forced to eat. She let out a long, dramatic yawn, her eyes half-closed.

Delya, on the other hand, was eating her breakfast with dreamy elegance, a small, content smile on her lips as she savored each bite. She cut a piece of perfectly cooked steak, lifted it gracefully to her lips, and chewed slowly, her eyes fluttering closed in bliss.

”Nyaa!” Mimi puffed her cheeks, glaring at Delya with half-lidded, sleepy eyes.

Delya paused, her fork and knife hovering over the plate as she narrowed her eyes at Mimi. ”Mimi! Eat properly and sit up straight. You’re not a wild cat.”

Mimi glanced at her with half-lidded eyes, her fork dangling lazily from her hand. ”Nya! I’m still sleepy, nya! Why did you have to wake me up so early?”

Delya continued eating her steak with perfect poise, cutting another piece and savoring it before replying. ”A good breakfast like this should be enjoyed properly. Besides, it’s your own fault for playing until midnight.”

”Nya!” Mimi puffed her cheeks, her tail flicking in annoyance. ”Since Liana, Gloria, and Nee-sama are still not here, it’s boring! The only way I can have fun is by playing games or watching the Sky Eye feeds!”

Delya shook her head before glancing at Gracelle, who was still resting in bed. A gentle smile crossed her lips.

”Gracelle, would you like to join us for breakfast? Your meal has already been served as well.”

Gracelle’s eyes lit up as she nodded, a soft smile spreading across her face. She slowly climbed down from the bed, steadying herself before taking careful, measured steps toward the table.

Mimi’s ears perked up, and a playful, mischievous glint sparkled in her eyes. She began counting under her breath, her tail swaying with excitement.

”One... two... three...”

Gracelle took another step, her hand lightly touching the back of a chair for support.

”Four... five...”

Delya narrowed her eyes at Mimi, who was now biting her lower lip in barely contained excitement, her fangs showing as her tail began to sway eagerly from side to side.

”Mimi...” Delya’s voice carried a warning tone.

”Four... five... six...”

Gracelle took another step, her pace slow but determined.

”Seven... eight...”

Delya’s eyes narrowed further. ”Mimi...”

”Nine... ten!” Mimi’s tail shot up, a wide grin spreading across her face. ”Ehehe~ Good job! You made it without stumbling, my junior~”

Gracelle let out a soft laugh before pulling the chair slowly and gracefully taking her seat.

”Nya~” Mimi’s eyes glinted with excitement. ”Since you can already walk, let’s walk around the manor, nya! There are so many interesting places and buildings to see!”

Delya narrowed her eyes, her voice calm but firm. ”Not all places are suitable for us to visit without our husband accompanying us. Some areas are restricted, and you already know that, Mimi.”

”Nya?” Mimi tilted her head, her ears twitching. ”Then let’s just go meet Lady Mother, nya! We can ask her permission to explore!”

Delya let out a long exhale before continuing to eat, her movements slow and elegant as she cut another piece of steak.

Mimi tilted her head to the side, her eyes drifting from her own plate to the large platter of meat and fruits at the center of the table.

”Nyaaaaa~”

Delya glanced at her, a faint smile on her lips. ”What’s wrong, Mimi?”

Mimi rested her chin on the table, her tail drooping. ”The food is good, but I miss Big Sis Liana’s special sauce. Nyaaaaa... I wonder when she’ll be back home...”

”Hmm?” Delya glanced at her in confusion. ”Big Sis already arrived this morning, along with Gloria.”

”Eh? Really nya?!”

”Mm... yes. Why?”

”Nya! Why didn’t you tell me?!”

Delya raised an eyebrow, her expression calm. ”Hmm? I just did. And besides, the reason I woke you up was because Big Sis Liana told me to. I only just told you now because you asked.”

”Oh? Ehehehe~” Mimi’s mood instantly brightened, her ears perking up. ”Where is she nya?!”

”I don’t know. But Big Sis Liana just told me to wake you up and make sure you had breakfast.”

”Ehehehe! Now’s not the time to eat breakfast!” Mimi’s tail shot up as she pushed herself up from her chair. ”I need to find Big Sis first, nya!”

But just as she was about to dash toward the door, it swung open.

Liana stepped in gracefully, her long silver hair shimmering under the morning light, her pink full lips set in a calm, composed expression. Her maid dress hugged her curves perfectly, the fabric swaying with each step, her breast bouncing gently as she moved. She held a silver tray in her hands, her posture elegant and poised.

She paused, narrowing her gaze toward Mimi, her voice low and serious. ”Mimi. Sit down and eat your breakfast. Don’t make me repeat myself.”

Mimi pursed her lips, her tail swaying slowly before she broke into a wide grin. ”Big Sis!!!”

Liana exhaled softly, then turned her gaze toward Delya. ”How have you been, Delya? And how did our usual troublemaker behave while I was away?”

Delya smiled softly, her tone respectful. ”She was her usual self, Big Sis. Playful, mischievous, and full of energy. But nothing too troublesome.”

Liana shook her head with a faint sigh before turning her attention to Gracelle. Her voice softened, carrying an elegant, caring tone.

”Gracelle, how are you feeling this morning? I trust you’ve been resting well and following Myra’s instructions?
