Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1115: Preparing for a Magical Lesson ( 1115 )

Meanwhile.

Liana and the others arrived in front of Francesca’s private room.

She stepped forward while the others waited respectfully behind her. She knocked three times, a soft but clear rhythm.

A gentle voice came from inside.

”Just come in, Liana~ Bring the others along.”

Liana’s eyes widened slightly.

How does she know it’s me?

She exhaled softly and slowly opened the door.

”Lady Francesca... you called for me?”

”Ah, Liana~ Come in. Don’t be shy.” Francesca said, seated gracefully on the long couch, her legs crossed elegantly as she sipped her tea.

Liana stepped inside, and her gaze was immediately drawn to a woman standing quietly near Francesca.

She had long, flowing golden hair and soft golden eyes, wearing an exquisite maid dress with a delicate golden apron. She stood with a stillness that felt both serene and deeply attentive.

Where have I seen her before?

I think I remember seeing her somewhere... but when?

And that golden apron... is she part of the Secret Maid Corps? The most elite unit?

She glanced at Gloria, who nudged her glasses, a flicker of recognition in her eyes. Together, they stepped further into the room, stopped at a respectful distance, and performed a polite bow, placing their palms over their left chests.

”Lady Francesca,” both said in unison while bowing.

”Ara~ Liana, Gloria... you two are already going to be my daughters-in-law. Shouldn’t you call me at least ’Mother-in-law’? Just like how Mimi calls me~” Francesca smiled, tilting her head elegantly.

Liana’s voice was soft, respectful, and tinged with a hint of shy uncertainty. ”I... I want to. But I feel... I do not yet know what the future holds. If Young Master...”

Francesca’s smile remained, but her eyes sharpened with an unshakable certainty. ”No. You will be my son’s wife. No matter what happens. That is not a possibility, it is a fact.” Her tone was gentle but carried the weight of absolute conviction. ”Besides, did you two forget how serious my Honey Bun is about you? Hmm?”

”Y... yes, Lady... umm... M... Mother-in-law,” Liana said, her voice low but clear, still bowing.

”See? Not so hard, right?” Francesca’s expression softened. ”And let me tell you something, since I believe you two may have forgotten... the ’Elyria’s Spiral’ dance is not something to be taken lightly. That dance is a covenant. It didn’t just celebrate your bond, it wove your souls together with his, and his with yours. All five of you are bound to him, and he to you. It is a promise written in magic, in fate, and in the heart. There is no ’if’ anymore, my dears. Only ’when.’”

She shifted slightly, recrossing her legs with effortless elegance.

”And I didn’t call all of you here if I didn’t fully trust and believe you will be Javier’s wives. This is serious. It is a once-and-only-once kind of matter. All of my sons’ wives, Lithia, Harny, Meira, and Zania, will also receive the same... though the difference is, they will receive it after marriage. You five, however, are receiving it early.”

She glanced at Liana, her expression softening but still firm. ”I believe you two understand what I mean? Hmm? I don’t want any excuses, nor do I want you harboring any lingering doubts about your place in his heart or your future by his side. I need you to be confident, truly confident, that Javier is yours, and you are his. There is no room for hesitation, not after everything that has already been woven between you.”

”We... we understand... M... Mother-in-law,” Liana and Gloria said in unison.

”Good.” Francesca smiled and leaned back comfortably. ”So, Liana... Gloria... how is your Young Master~? He’s good? Hmm?” she asked, her tone playful and subtly teasing.

Liana and Gloria fell silent, their cheeks flushing a soft pink.

Francesca then turned her gaze toward Felicia. ”So, Felicia~”

”Y... yes, Mother-in-law?”

”I believe you have no doubts about my Honey Bun, right?”

”No, Mother-in-law.” Felicia offered a graceful princess bow, her smile calm but unable to fully hide the flicker of excitement in her eyes.

Francesca then glanced at Delya, who was hugging her jar of chocolate, lost in a dreamy expression. She then looked back at Liana, Gloria, and Felicia, her smile softening with affection.

”She is the only one I truly have no doubts about,” Francesca said, her voice gentle. ”Delya’s love is pure, unwavering, and absolute. She never doubts, never questions, only loves. With her dreamy, romantic heart, her emotional sensitivity... she is the one who gets lonely the most easily, and yet, her faith in him is the most unshakable of all.”

”But this doesn’t mean I want you all to copy her. My Honey Bun loves you just the way you are. However, I don’t want to hear any more doubt or uncertainty about him again. Especially you, Liana. You’ve been with him since the day he was a baby, and since the day I assigned you from head of household maid to his personal caretaker. So, no more doubt. Understood?” Francesca’s smile was gentle but carried an unspoken weight, her eyes holding Liana’s gaze with maternal firmness.

Liana smiled softly and bowed her head. ”Understood, Mother-in-law. I will not waver again.”

”Good.” Francesca’s expression warmed. She tilted her head slightly. ”Mimi~ Why are you so quiet? Come here~” she said, tapping her lap.

Mimi tilted her body and peeked out from behind Liana’s back with a sheepish grin. ”Yes, Mother-in-law!” She rushed over and settled comfortably onto Francesca’s lap.

”Now, everyone, take a seat,” Francesca said softly, her tone inviting. ”Delya?”

”Yes, Mother-in-law~” Delya replied with her usual dreamy smile.

”Take a seat now, dear.”

”Mm... okay~” Delya responded softly, floating over to the couch with elegant, almost ethereal grace before sitting down beside Felicia.

”Liana? Gloria? Felicia? Delya?”

”Yes, Mother-in-law?”

Francesca smiled and gestured toward the huge, ornate golden tome resting on the low table in front of them.

”Any of you recognize this?”

Everyone shook their heads, their eyes fixed on the magnificent book.

Francesca’s smile deepened. ”Ever heard of The Golden Knowledge Tome?”

Liana’s eyes widened in recognition. Gloria fell completely silent, her mind racing. Delya simply glanced at the tome with serene curiosity. Felicia, however, stammered, her voice trembling with disbelief.

”This... this is... what Father was talking about before? The one and only...”

”Yes,” Francesca replied gently. ”You’ve heard about it from Lioness, right?”

”Y... yes, Mother-in-law... He mentioned that only the author could open it. Even if someone stole it, they couldn’t unlock its secrets. And even if someone forced it open... nothing would be shown.”

”Ara~ So you do have knowledge about this tome~” Francesca’s tone was warm, almost playful.

Mimi leaned up and used her hand to cover her lips, whispering softly. ”Mother-in-law.”

”Hmm? Yes, Mimi?” Francesca smiled, gently stroking her hair.

”Is... is she the owner of the tome, nya?”

Francesca just smiled, her eyes glinting with gentle mystery. ”You’ll know soon, dear~”
