Reborn As Noble

That night.

After dinner.

Javier sat on the balcony, alone. Staring at the moon and the clear night sky scattered with stars.

Ferine.

Gumarak’s daughter.

Man... I was hoping to get her as one of my harem, but it seems like she never really wanted that.

I thought maybe if she were with me, she’d stop trying to spy on Armand’s weapons and tech. Or perhaps I could change her, make her fall in love with me. Share moments, make her happy, show her a life beyond scheming and spying. Make her forget about stealing secrets and just... be with me.

But I guess I was wrong, huh? Not every girl could fall for my handsome and charming face.

It’s hard to make her fall for me for real. And she’s the only dwarven girl I’ve ever met who doesn’t have those bulky muscles or that stout, hardened look. She’s... delicate, almost elven in her grace. It made her stand out. Maybe that’s part of why she felt so different.

Man... I guess I’m dumb, huh?

I could easily killed her for trying to get even a tiny piece of information about our tech. But I didn’t.

Since she didn’t get anything from me or from any of Armand’s staff.

I know Father has the Eyes of Truth and could see her real self. But he just let me choose what to do with her. He trusted me to handle it.

And I handled it by being soft.

Sigh... I need to stop doing that. Stop being soft just because someone is cute or beautiful. If I keep letting potential threats slide based on looks... one day, that kindness is going to hurt Liana. Or Gloria. Or any of them.

Javier chuckled softly, shaking his head.

It’s pathetic, really. She chose Kimar’s son instead. That arrogant, entitled bastard who treats women like trophies. She’d rather be a villain’s plaything than be cherished by someone who would’ve given her the world.

Whatever. No point dwelling on it.

I owe Father, Mother, and Alf an apology. Because I hesitated, the entire estate security had to be tightened. Every soldier, guard, and staff member is now on high alert, all because I couldn’t make the hard call.

At least Rasdingen warned me. He said not to trust the dwarves visiting Armand.

And Father mention about the Rasdingen Clan, the giant dwarves who’ve lived under Armand’s protection for generations and serve directly under Father are the only ones we can actually trust.

Sorry, Gumarak. You’re a good man. An honest ally.

But if your daughter ever threatens my family... my future wives...

Javier’s expression slowly hardened. His gaze, fixed on the distant horizon, turned cold and resolute.

...I’ll kill her myself. No hesitation. No mercy.

Javier’s thoughts were interrupted by a soft, shy voice calling him from behind.

”Husband...”

Javier glanced over his shoulder. Felicia was standing there, her hands clasped gracefully in front of her, her posture elegant but timid. Her tail swayed slowly behind her, betraying a hint of nervousness.

”Yes, Felicia?” Javier smiled, seeing her standing there, shy and uncertain..

This one is still so shy, huh? She’s so different from her little sister, Mimi. DDespite being a serious, dignified princess in her own kingdom, she turns into a flustered, blushing mess around me. Even after all this time together.

”Do you need something, Felicia?”

”Um... the... the sky tonight... umm... is beautiful...” Felicia said, turning her head slightly to the side while fidgeting with the hem of her sleeve.

”Yeah, it is.” Javier smiled. ”Wanna watch it together?” he said, settling back into the chair.

”C... can I?” Felicia murmured shyly.

”Yes.” Javier gestured for her to come closer.

”B... but... there’s only... umm... one chair...”

”Ah... how about you sit on my lap?”

Felicia fell silent, fidgeting nervously before slowly walking toward Javier, her eyes averted.

Javier reached for her wrist and gently pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her from behind as she settled.

”Kya!” Felicia let out a soft, surprised gasp before turning her face away, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.

Oho~ I love how flustered she gets. Even after all this time, she still reacts like it’s the first time.

Javier rested his chin on top of her head, pressing his cheek gently against her ear.

”The night is beautiful, Felicia.”

Felicia smiled shyly before glancing up at the sky. ”Mm... yes, husband.”

Javier whispered into her ear, his voice soft and warm. ”Just like you~”

Felicia grew even shyer, turning to bury her face into Javier’s shoulder.

Javier slowly reached for her tail, his fingers gently wrapping around the base before stroking along its length in a slow, soothing caress.

”Hyaa!” Felicia stiffened, letting out a soft, breathy gasp. Her tail twitched in his grasp, sensitive and reactive.

”You don’t like it when I touch your tail?” Javier whispered in a soft, low voice.

Felicia stayed silent and shook her head, still burying her face in Javier’s neck.

”So... you don’t mind if I touch your tail, right?”

Felicia shook her head again, hugging him even tighter.

Javier’s eyes focused on her tail, which swayed gently in rhythm with his strokes, while his other hand caressed her back in slow, soothing circles. He leaned in closer, inhaling her sweet, natural scent.

Oh... she smells so good.

Javier felt his cock twitch inside his pants.

I wonder if she’d let me take her. I really want to taste a catgirl like her, especially this shy one~ How would she react? Would she tremble? Whisper my name? She’s still a virgin...

”Husband...” Felicia said in a low murmur.

”Mm?” Javier gently pushed her back just enough to see her face. She was biting her lower lip, her cheeks flushed, her whole body trembling slightly with shy anticipation.

Javier smiled softly, his thumb brushing her cheek. ”I love you, Felicia.”

Felicia’s eyes softened, shimmering with emotion. She leaned in slowly, her lips meeting his in a tender, hesitant kiss, soft, sweet, and full of unspoken affection. Javier returned the kiss gently, savoring her innocence, his hands holding her close as the night wrapped around them like a silent, romantic veil.

Felicia kept kissing him passionately, feeling Javier’s hand begin to fondle her breast through the fabric of her dress.

And remembered what Liana and Gloria had said to her earlier, when they had playfully pinned her to the bed.

”If you’re not ready yet, we won’t force you~ But knowing our future husband, we can’t guarantee your spot as the third wife if he chooses Delya or Mimi first~”
