Reborn As Noble

Javier smiled and kept gently stroking her hair and back, holding her close.

While Delya mumble softly against his neck.

”Danna-sama...”

”Hmm? Yes, Delya?”

”I... I’m hungry...” she whispered, her voice barely audible, tinged with shyness.

Javier chuckled softly and whispered back in her ear while patting her back. ”You haven’t eaten yet?”

Delya shook her head silently, still burying her face in his neck.

”How about some chocolate? Would you like chocolate?”

”Mm... I love chocolate~” she whispered, her voice lifting with a hint of excitement, soft and shy.

Javier snapped his fingers, opening his dimensional storage. He reached in and pulled out a large, beautifully crafted jar filled with an assortment of premium chocolates.

He then took out a beautiful silk handkerchief and gently dabbed her eyes, wiping away her tears. ”There, all better. Now, go eat over there while I’m working, okay?”

”Mm... okay...” Delya nodded shyly, a small smile touching her lips. She planted a quick, soft kiss on his lips and smiled. She took the chocolate jar and moved gracefully to the other table near the long couch where Mimi was asleep, settling down to enjoy her treat.

He watched as Delya slowly reached into the chocolate jar, her slender fingers selecting a perfect piece. She lifted it to her full lips, taking a delicate bite. A soft, blissful sigh escaped her as the chocolate melted on her tongue, her eyes fluttering closed for a moment. A tiny, happy smile graced her lips, and a faint, contented blush colored her cheeks.

Wow... she looked beautiful.

Javier shook his head and focused back on the document. He glanced at the mana watch and then at everyone in the room. They all looked tired.

Well, this is normal since I think this is their first time officially handling this much paperwork.

”Varrick? Mahira? Lorcan?” Javier called, then looked at the one empty seat and nodded. ”We’ll continue this paperwork for about...” He paused and checked the mana watch again. ”Around one more hour, and we’ll continue the rest tomorrow.”

Mahira and Lorcan bowed slightly, while Varrick glanced up with wide eyes. ”But... Your Highness...”

”Ah, I know what you want to say, Varrick.” Javier smiled. ”But you also know my father never finished all the paperwork in one day. We prioritize the urgent and important matters first, right?”

”Y... yes, Your Highness.” Varrick nodded, and Javier continued.

”And the routine matters, the reports for upcoming events that don’t require immediate attention, can be handled later. This is also how my father works, how your father works, right, Varrick?”

”Yes, Your Highness.” Varrick smiled and nodded.

”Since I’ve mentioned all I need is for you to be at least at Alf’s level, Erinnette’s level, or Hesbeirn’s level. Of course, I know some of us want to be better, but trust me, for work like this and the daily administration of the kingdom, consistency and balance matter more than burning ourselves out.”

Javier continued checking the urgent paperwork, reading and annotating each document with careful attention. His eyes scanned lines of budget figures, trade agreements, and regional reports, his mind fully engaged in the task.

And occasionally glanced back at Delya, who was now calm and content with her chocolate, a soft, dreamy smile on her face as she savored each piece.

Let’s hope Mimi doesn’t wake up and cause trouble.

Javier shook his head and chuckled softly while reading another document.

Ah... If Liana wakes up later and finds out the two of them are here, or if Gloria finds out, or if Felicia notices they were here without her... I’ll have some explaining to do.

Especially to Felicia, she’s number three and already feels a bit left out sometimes.

I wonder how I can make sure each of them feels equally cherished, equally seen. I don’t want anyone to feel overlooked or forgotten.

Sigh... I don’t want to add another girl to the harem anymore. Even with five, I already struggle to give each of them the attention and affection they deserve. Balancing their needs, their feelings, their time...

If I add another, I’ll be stretched too thin, emotionally and physically. I’ll end up exhausted, and someone will inevitably feel neglected.

Man... I thought having a beautiful harem and more girls was like a dream come true. A man fantasy of endless affection and companionship. Only to realize it’s a pain in the ass.

Sure, it’s good since I have five wonderful girls, especially in bed.

But the reality is hard. And I’m not someone who’s heartless or who can just ignore their feelings. I care about each of them deeply, and that’s what makes it so damn difficult.

Javier’s mind started to wander back to last night on the new warship.

Gloria’s beautiful, curvy body, her soft, breathy moans, the way she arched her back gracefully, her skin glowing in the dim light.

And then Liana. Who was ravished hard by him the whole night. The reason why she was so tired and sleeping today.

Hmm... Since Felicia is number three... I wonder... how does she taste?

But she’s shy. More like too shy and always silent...

Javier’s mind wandered back to how they first met, when he accidentally saw her naked body.

Ah... Now I notice... Liana, Gloria, and Felicia all have clean and smooth pussies.

He glanced at Mimi and Delya. I wonder if they’re both bare too?

Javier swallowed hard, feeling his dick throb again.

Ah, crap! Better focus on the paperwork. One more hour and I finish this work and go back to everyone.

Sex can wait for night. Now paperwork! Paperwork!

Meanwhile. Outside the courtyard.

Buddy was strutting through the main gate with a smug, purposeful walk, his huge beak gently holding a neatly bound bundle of fresh hay he’d gathered from a farmer’s field a fair distance from the estate.

The guard watching the gate saw the huge Pekko walk right past them.

He looked at his partner, who was sitting inside the guard post. ”This is his third time coming in and out with that huge bundle of hay.”

”Who knows. Besides, Prince Javier’s Pekko is always doing weird stuff.”

”Yeah, but I’ve never seen this Pekko leave the estate without the prince.”

”Oh... right. Now that you mention it. Yeah, Buddy never goes out without his master.”

”Should we tell Prince Javier about this?”

”Yeah... I guess we should.”

”Alright, you go to the manor and inform Prince Javier about his Pekko’s weird... hay-gathering trips.”

”Eh? Why is it always me!?”

”Hah? It’s because you want to see that cute maid in the main hall, right?”
