Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 718: The Vacation Begins! Part-2.

When Rio entered his room, the first thing he noticed was the unique interior of the room.

Unlike those sci-fi metallic rooms of the dormitory back in the academy, the dorms here were made in a more traditional style according to the local customs of the Feline Tribe.

The floor was made up of some kind of rare polished wood, and as there was a shoe rack right at the door, Rio took off his shoes and put them away.

’This kind of reminds me of the customs back home in my previous world...’

In Rio’s previous world, the place he was born had the custom of always taking shoes off before entering the house so that it would remain cleaner.

’Even the interior design of the room seems to be very similar... it’s nice...’

As Rio walked further in, he noticed there were various cat and tiger paintings hanging on the walls of the room.

Even the ceiling was decorated with elegant chandeliers; it was almost as if Rio had somehow returned home; the place brought nostalgia.

Just when Rio was enjoying the place, his eyes fell on the clothes that were placed on the bed, likely prepared for him beforehand, and the small smile that had just appeared on his face disappeared completely.

”Wtf!?”

”Are those cat ears and tail!? Is this what they were talking about when they said disguise!?”

Rio’s mouth opened wide in shock as he felt speechless and couldn’t find words to describe his feelings of surprise.

There was a blackish-gold-colored ’yukata,’ which had golden flower patterns over it.

The yukata was very good-looking, and Rio had no problem against wearing it, but the main problem was those cheap cat-ear and tail accessories!

”It’s enchanted with magic to give it a real feel... they are really thorough with the details...”

Seeing this situation, Rio didn’t know whether to laugh or cry about it, and so for a while Rio could only scratch the back of his neck in awkwardness.

”Ugh, well... if I am being given this, others would also be wearing it, so I guess it’s fine... I can also use my disguise skills to make it all seem more realistic too...”

In the end, Rio had no choice but to compromise.

They had come so far to enjoy a vacation; there was no point in fussing about small things that were meant for their own good.

Using his telekinesis, Rio easily changed his clothes as he transformed his shadow robe into an invisible one and hid it below the yukata.

With great reluctance, Rio put the dark black cat ears on his head, and the spell placed on the cat ears hid his actual ears.

As for the tail, it was also enchanted with a spell, and Rio just had to attach it to his back, and it would start behaving according to his will without any problems.

With his excellent disguise skills combined with these magical enchanted artifacts, Rio became almost similar to a normal male feline tribe member!

”Most people in this world do not have black hair and eyes, so I might still stand out even after this disguise, but I don’t really want to change the color of my hair, so I will keep it the way it is...”

Standing in front of the mirror, Rio was delighted as he noticed that he looked more like a ’samurai’ with his sword hanging around his waist.

Rio had even turned his sword into a katana just for the sake of aesthetics; the only thing that seemed odd was the cat ears that made him seem cuter than usual.

’I feel like they have some kind of magical effect that can cover up my usual dangerous nature...’

’It can’t be that putting on cat ears can really make you look more harmless, right?’

Thinking about various things in his head, Rio got out of his room and came face-to-face with Link, who had just come out at the same time.

Link’s yukata was dark red and had flame-like patterns that suited him a lot, and with those red cat ears, he looked more like those bratty characters from anime that were always hot-headed and ready to battle anyone!

”Pfffft~”

Seeing him like that, Rio couldn’t stop himself from laughing.

”Oi! Don’t laugh! You are also wearing these things too! You are in no place to laugh at me!”

As Link shouted unhappily, his red tail stood up like an angry cat’s, making the scene look even funnier.

”Pfffttt... I can’t... it’s too funny... hehehe... a big muscular fire cat, pffffftttt~”

Just when Link was starting to become red from anger, a sweet and nervous voice made his anger disappear instantly.

”Uh... how do I look...”

Hiding behind a half-opened door, Riya peeked her head out cutely as she showed her pink cat ears to Link.

Seeing that adorable look, Link completely forgot about Rio making fun of him and instead felt that having come to this place was definitely worth it!

”It’s beautiful!!!”

Hearing those words, Riya seemed to have gained courage as she opened the door and walked out with a nervous and shy look on her face.

Her pink yukata looked extremely beautiful with those white flower-like patterns on it, and Link almost fainted from the overdose of cuteness!

Right behind Riya, Lia also made her debut with her new look as she showed off her golden yukata to Rio.

”Behold! This young lady is now a cute cat girl, hehe~”

Lia even went one step ahead as she even put on two cute cat teeth accessories to make her teeth seem cuter!

Seeing that, Rio immediately gave a thumbs up and spoke,

”It’s 10000000/10! Awesome! You win the championship of being the most beautiful cat girl in the history of the world!”

Hearing Rio’s compliment, Lia smiled happily as she hurriedly rushed over to Rio’s side to take a selfie with him for the sake of preserving these memories.

Soon Miki also came out wearing her yukata, and the entire group took a combined selfie together!
