Rebirth: A Cinderella's Counterattack

Chapter 24: Chapter 24: The Patchwork Bear Incident (Part 2)

”Ouch, looks like you’re all pretty united, aren’t you? Too bad I, Master, don’t hit girls, otherwise I’d smack you both without hesitation!” The red-haired youth slapped Luo Shufan again across the face, ”But I have no mercy for boys, little runts. If you don’t want your brother to suffer, hand over the money quickly!”

”Boss, they’re just a few brats and not beauties. What’s the big deal if we beat them? If you don’t dare to do it, I will.” The blonde youth said, stepping forward.

He Wenyu hurriedly pulled Luo Qianqian behind him, his face a mix of regret and annoyance, ”I’m telling you, I’ve learned Sanda! Don’t touch us!”

”Who are you trying to scare, kid? Come on, hit here; let’s see if you can even reach. Haha.” The blonde youth pointed at his own head, mockingly stooped down, stopping a good head’s distance away from He Wenyu’s head.

”I’ll freaking kick you, what about that!” said Xiao Yu as her right leg swung up in a high kick and her right foot struck the blonde youth squarely on the forehead; her plastic sandal perfectly entangled in the blonde youth’s explosive hairdo.

”Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!!!” Dazed by the kick, the blonde youth looked up and jerked a few times while He Wenyu decisively withdrew her right foot, leaving the sandal on the blonde youth’s head.

”Damn you, brat, messing with Brother Jin! I’ll teach you a lesson!” The white-haired youth moved forward, reaching to slap He Wenyu but was instead hit by a stone on his chin, ”Hiss, which bastard did that!”

Luo Qianqian’s eyes darkened as she shielded He Wenyu behind her, standing on one leg, ”Social scum, not even trying to work and earn money, robbing the money from kids who worked hard for it. What else can people like you do, besides asking adults for money and stealing from those younger and weaker than yourselves? Why didn’t you rob earlier? Was it not because there were high schoolers around that you dare not? Because those brothers are not only taller but also stronger than you, you don’t dare confront those who can study well and exercise well, because you’d lose before even starting a fight!” Luo Qianqian hadn’t finished speaking when she was smacked to the ground by the white-haired youth, her cheek swelling instantly.

”Qianqian!” He Wenyu helped Luo Qianqian up, as Luo Qianqian stubbornly wiped the blood from her lips, and He Wenyu’s face immediately welled up with tears.

”Sister!” Luo Shufan suddenly broke free from the red-haired youth’s grip, turned and kicked at the red-haired youth’s most vulnerable spot, then turned to rush to his sister, his palms gently rubbing her swollen face as flames surged in his eyes.

”I, your, Master, damn, it!!” The red-haired youth went pale, sweat dripping down his forehead as he bent over and knelt on the ground, growling in a low voice.

”The last thing you should have done was to mess with my sister! The money is in my hand. If you want to take it today, you’ll have to kill me! Otherwise, apologize to my sister!” Not willing to lay a finger on his treasured sister, who was hurt today because of his own weaknesses, Luo Shufan could not forgive himself, nor could he forgive this group of colored-hair youths!

”Think you’re something special because I spared you, huh? Hand over the money quick!” The green-haired youth, seeing the red-haired youth bending over, instantly understood something: ”Hand over the money as our Boss’s medical fees, and we’ll call it even. Otherwise, not only will you not take the money, we’ll beat you every time we see you from now on!”

”Go ahead and try to kill me if you’ve got the guts, an eye for an eye!” Luo Shufan’s eyes were red as he protected his sister and He Wenyu. As a brother, he couldn’t let his sister get hurt in front of him again. His own family he could bully, but no one else could touch them!

”You think I don’t dare, huh?!” The blonde youth, straining, yanked off He Wenyu’s sandal from his head and threw it onto Luo Shufan, with a flashy plastic flower still standing tall amidst a few strands of hair on the explosive hairdo.

”You can you up, No can no BB.” Luo Qianqian picked up a stone, neither too big nor too small, just the right size to hold in her hand and of a suitable weight.

”What does that mean?” The blond youth looked bewilderedly at Luo Qianqian and her two companions; it sounded like English, but wasn’t it horrifying that even a toddler who hadn’t been to kindergarten could speak English now?

”You, okay, you, go on, not, okay, then don’t... blah... What does ’little bastard blah’ mean?” the green-haired youth frowned and said, ”Speak Chinese to me. Why are you speaking some bird language when you’re a decent Hua Xia person?”

”I’ll say it once, so remember it. What I said was: ’If you can, then go ahead; if you can’t, shut up.’ It’s not like we’re alarms. When did young people on the streets start acting like gentlemen, all talk and no action?” Luo Qianqian, protected by Luo Shufan behind her, still couldn’t help but voice her disdain because of their injuries. She didn’t recall ever meeting such people in her previous life.

”You’re just a girl and you’re ***** crazy, aren’t you, got a mental issue, right? We don’t hit you because you’re young and we’re afraid you won’t take it well. What’s the problem? Now it’s our fault for not hitting you? Damn it, go ahead, I want the money, and beat them to a pulp. No respect for the face given, you ungrateful little *****,” barked the green-haired youth as he made a grand gesture like an ancient general commanding an attack.

”You’re the one with a bad brain. Did your mother give birth to you just so you could have multicolored hair and intimidate kids around here? Have you ever considered how your mothers would feel if you got caught doing something serious? Every child is born with their parents’ expectations. Do you really think that what you’re doing now is what your parents hoped for? Whether you get hurt or hurt someone else, do you understand how your parents feel having to deal with the consequences of your actions? You’re supposed to be their pride and joy, but now they can’t even scold or hit you, living in fear that you’ll slam the door in their faces and get into trouble. Is this really how you plan to live forever? What do you think a thug is? What makes someone the underworld?” Luo Qianqian spoke with a firm tone, holding onto her brother’s clothing, pushing down the fear in her heart.

”You little brat, I don’t know what a thug is? I don’t know what the underworld is? I’m telling you, I am the underworld! My parents are proud to have a son like me!” The green-haired youth scrutinized Luo Qianqian with a scornful gaze: ”I was with Brother Long since I was thirteen, and I took over managing this area from him at sixteen. My parents have a son like me because of our family’s virtue!”

”The real underworld has manners, understands the law, and they wouldn’t go around with dyed hair, tattoos, shouting about being gangsters. They silently make money; even if something happens, they keep smiling on the surface, only to take action later, not stabbing someone right to their face! The underworld wouldn’t rob for just a few bucks. People like you can only ever be lackeys! You think you’re underworld? With your short-sightedness, you can only ever mix with the lowlifes,” Luo Qianqian continued, even as her brother and Xiao Yu desperately tried to pull her back, she refused to be quiet.

”Heh, I don’t want your money anymore. Grab this girl and give her a few slaps!” The green-haired youth didn’t instruct anyone else but moved forward himself, easily pulling Luo Qianqian, who was protected by Luo Shufan, out front with his height advantage, and with a bent waist, he slapped her hard across the face: ”I’m just a lackey? Then you’re even less than me! Even if you’re thrown at me, I wouldn’t want you!”

Two slaps left Luo Qianqian dazed, and the stone she had been clutching subconsciously smashed onto the green-haired youth’s head, the sharp edge of the rock opening a gash, blood staining its tip.

”Qianqian!” He Wenyu, already anxious to see Luo Qianqian being grabbed and hit, was restrained by Luo Shufan.

Luo Shufan was holding a brick, his legs trembling. But upon seeing his sister fight back, he hesitated no more and followed with a blow to the green-haired youth’s head,

”Ah! ****!” The green-haired youth let go in pain, but Luo Qianqian didn’t move an inch, standing there empty-eyed.

School security, seeing the blood, finally snapped to their senses and appeared, calling the police and an ambulance. But by this time, Luo Qianqian had already fainted, eyes darkening.

”If anything happens to my little sister, I’ll make you pay in blood!” Luo Shufan savagely kicked the green-haired youth, who was dazed at the sight of blood, sitting on the ground, while the other rainbow-haired individuals scattered at the sight of security.

”If something happens to Qianqian, I’ll fight you with my life!” He Wenyu, not caring about the police, hurled a stone directly at the green-haired youth’s face, then turned to jump into the ambulance.
