Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 3233: Sudden Good News (2)

“So, the only way is to ask the allied armies Headquarters for help! We can only request for the Headquarters to mobilize some powerful Dao Profound Realm practitioners to help kill Sky Devil Rui Ze. Then, with the coordination of attacks on the various demon tribe’s strongholds, Blessed City will be alleviated from the encirclement.”

Jing Shaoyuan spoke frankly with assurance.

Hearing what he said, the other Divine Lieutenants present nodded their heads in agreement.

“That’s right. The idea that Commander Jing gave should be the best method!”

“Sky Devil mid-phase strong practitioner is that powerful. If we don’t eliminate him, no matter what idea we come out with, it’s of no use at all!”

“I heard that the demon tribe also sent Rui Ze’s younger brother, a Sky Devil early-phase strong practitioner to be the Commanding Officer. The pressure at the frontline is simply too huge! It’s especially so for the stronghold in the frontline. It’s been such a long time since any military reports had been received. The situation must be very critical right now.”

Hearing the Divine Lieutenant’s suggestions, Meng Shurong delved into deep thought.

Ever since he had been deployed to Blessed City to assume the position of Divine General, this was his first time encountering a Sky Devil mid-phase devil.

Meng Shurong originally didn’t want to seek help from the allied armies Headquarters because that would make it seem that he, the newly appointed Divine General, was incompetent.

But now, the appearance of Sky Devil Rui Ze had already made Blessed City fall into an extremely precarious situation. If this carried on, the devil army would probably force their way into Blessed City…

“Sigh, forget it. We’ll just do as you say! Men…”

Meng Shurong sighed as he made up his mind.

The enemy they were dealing with was a Sky Devil mid-phase top exponent. It wouldn’t be extremely embarrassing to seek the Headquarters’ help in this sort of situation.

If he remained hesitant and caused Blessed City to fall, he would become the allied armies’ sinner!

Meng Shurong raised his hand and was just about to call someone. But before he could finish his sentence, a shuffle of hurried footsteps came from the corridor!

When the higher management of the allied armies was having a discussion, that place would be off-limits to uninvolved people, not to mention having such a commotion.

Everyone subconsciously frowned.

A personal guard hurriedly pushed the door open without even knocking on the door.

Meng Shirong stared in that direction in displeasure. “Who’s that? How dare you interrupt…”

“Div… Divine General Sir, big… big news! The frontline… frontline’s military report!! The frontline has sent their military report!”

A personal guard dashed in madly and his forehead was filled with sweat. He didn’t even have time to pant and hurriedly spoke out in anticipation.

Meng Shurong was shocked. “There’s finally a military report? Quick, quickly hand it over to This General to take a look!”

As there had been no news from the frontline for close to two weeks, Meng Shurong had ordered long ago that once the military report arrived, they had to send it over to him immediately. That was why his personal guard directly barged in.

The personal guard took a big step forward and passed the letters which were stamped in hot wax to Meng Shurong.

He took the letters, tore the envelopes in a hurry, took out the letters, and read it carefully.

He had just taken a look when his eyes suddenly widened in shock. “W… What? How is this possible?”

Meng Shirong’s body trembled and his vision quickly swept through the rest of the letter. In a short moment, he had already read through the entire page of the military report.

But he did not dare to believe his eyes, so he read through it once again.

And later, once more…

Meng Shurong looked at it several times until he didn’t dare to believe the contents of the letter.

Moreover, the hand which was holding the letter started to shake.
