Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 3193: Mixed With Two Men (2)

Hearing this, Commander Hu no longer dared to make a sound.

Actually, he had secretly ascertained that Jing Zhihai and the others had already betrayed the allied armies.

Otherwise, how would things be so coincidental?

From the demon tribe’s campsite to Sky Devil Rui Ze’s closed door cultivation cave, the journey would take at least four hours. So how could Rui Ze possibly come in time? This was simply illogical?

Li Yukun’s personal guards fed him a pill, and after drinking several mouths of water, his emotions gradually started to calm down.

“Alright, continue with your story. How could you guys possibly deal with Sky Devil Rui Ze when he appeared at the demon tribe’s campsite? I can tell that your troops don’t have many casualties. So how did you manage to escape?”

Commander Hu recalled the most important thing for today and he lifted his attention and continue with his story.

“… Sky Devil Rui Ze was pressing hard on us and we didn’t have any other ideas. The only thing we could do was to choose to send a group of people to delay him to allow the majority of the troops to retreat timely. This Subordinate wanted to lead the troops to stay, but Commander Li insisted on holding Rui Ze back alone, to let all of us leave first!”

“We were in a stalemate and Commander Li just jumped out to fight with Rui Ze himself!”

Hearing that, Commander Hu suddenly stopped.

Li Yukun was totally absorbed in the story. When he realized that Commander Hu had stopped, he quickly urged, “What happened after that? How did Li Yuehuang hold Rui Ze off?”

Commander Hu hesitated for a moment and said, “This… I’m not sure if This Subordinate had seen it wrongly… after Commander Li stepped forward bravely, Commander Xi took over the control of the army and asked all of us to retreat at our fastest speed! After we left for a short distance, This Subordinate was just too worried and turned around to check on Commander Li’s situation. In the end, I discovered… discovered…”

He stopped again.

Li Yukun frowned. “What did you discover? Why are you hemming and hawing?”

Commander Hu clenched his teeth and said, “I discovered that Commander Li summoned a Phoenix to fight with Sky Devil Rui Ze! But this… This Subordinate must have seen wrongly! Commander Li is a human, so how could he possibly have a phoenix? But he indeed managed to hold Rui Ze back for a long time.”

“Even until we escaped back to our campsite, we didn’t see Rui Ze chasing after us!”

Saying that, Commander Hu suddenly plopped to the ground. His eyes were filled with tears and his voice started to choke.

“Div… Divine Lieutenant! Commander Li he.. he saved all of us and is our benefactor! Moreover, he didn’t return to our troop. I’m afraid… I’m afraid that he had sacrificed himself already!”

It wasn’t only Commander Hu, even Commander Xiao and Commander Yang also looked touched!

All of them felt extremely touched whenever they recalled the moment when Huang Yueli stepped forward bravely!

“Divine Lieutenant, Commander Li died too aggrievedly!”

“It’s all thanks to Commander Li for our victory today! But he….”

Li Yukun’s brows started to twitch!

Hearing this now, the situation back then indeed seemed very critical. The thing that Huang Yueli did was indeed very touching.

But that lass was apparently saved by her husband! She was not hurt at all!

In fact, the two of them were enjoying themselves in their tents. Who knew what the young couple was doing right now! These fellows were wailing so loudly right now. They had better not disturb his Young Lord!

Thinking of this, Li Yukun coughed hard.

“Alright, don’t be so sad for now. Finish updating on the battlefield situation first.”
