Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 3192: Mixed With Two Men(1)

“Unforeseen situation? What unforeseen situation?” Li Yukun asked with a frown.

Earlier when he saw Huang Yueli and Xia Yunxi return, the two of them looked rather relaxed and were even flirting with their husbands. So he subconsciously felt that the process of launching the surprise attack should have gone smoothly.

But from Commander Hu’s tone, it didn’t seem so.

Commander Hu narrated the entire process of the battle at the demon tribe’s campsite.

“… just as we annihilated the entire demon tribe and were preparing to return, Sky Devil Rui Ze suddenly appeared at the campsite! Moreover, he kept asking who killed his younger brother!”

Li Yukun was startled!

“What? Sky Devil Rui Ze?? Why did Rui Ze suddenly appear? The location where he is in closed door cultivation is very far away from the demon tribe campsite! Moreover, he should have expelled all outer world interference when he went into closed door… could it be that the demon tribe purposely sent someone to ask him for help? Sigh, Huang… cough cough, is still inexperienced. He should have considered the demon tribe going to look for reinforcements at that moment!”

Li Yukun said vexedly.

Commander Hu hurriedly said, “That’s not it, Divine Lieutenant! Back then, Commander Li also thought of this kind of situation. So before we started to fight, she assigned Commander Jing, Commander Jian, and Commander Hua to the only path that Sky Devil Rui Ze was in closed door cultivation, so that they could stop all those people who were prepared to seek reinforcements!”

Hearing this, Li Yukun’s brows creased even more tightly than before.

“Since he’s already prepared, why did Sky Devil Rui Ze still hear of the news?”

At this point, Commander Hu suddenly went silent.

He hesitated for a moment, then said softly, “This… this… This Subordinate isn’t very sure as well!”

In view of their relationship as colleagues, Commander Hu didn’t judge based on any unconfirmed guesses.

But Li Yukun was a shrewd man, so he had more or less guessed that something fishy was going on.

“Hmph, I think this matter should be related to Jing Zhihai! I should have known that Jing Zhihai is overly arrogant. He strives for power and thinks he is top-notch, so it’s very hard for him to coordinate with other people! But I didn’t expect him to treat the frontline battle as a game!”

“By divulging our army’s surprise attack plan, he wasn’t getting Li Yuehuang in trouble only. The entire campsite’s soldiers and their lives were also planted into danger!”

The moment Li Yukun thought of this, he was so angry that he shook violently!

Originally he had recovered quite a bit after taking Xia Yunxi’s pill and recuperating for an entire day.

At least, he was no longer gasping for breath or lying immovable.

But after finding out about the thing that Jing Zhihai and the others did, he started to pant heavily, as though he was about to faint!

Commander Hu was shocked by this scene and hurriedly ran over to support him.

“Divine Lieutenant, don’t be angry… don’t be so angry for now! We still haven’t ascertained the truth of this matter yet! This Subordinate had already sent someone to head to the location where Commander Jing and the others were in ambush. When they return, we will find out what exactly had happened.”

However, Li Yukun’s expression was still consumed with rage.

Commander Hu thought and said, “Perhaps Commander Jing and the others didn’t do any wrong, but were negligent. So they accidentally allowed the demon tribe’s soldier to slip away and seek reinforcements…”

“Isn’t that the same!” Li Yukun angrily interrupted him. “As a Commander, he is leading an army of more than 1000 people, yet he could still allow a devil to escape and seek reinforcements! Under military regulations, the penalty for neglecting one’s responsibility is death!”
