Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 1486: Mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind (6)

Huang Yueli’s attention was entirely placed on Luo Jiyun who was on the cliff and had not expected anyone to suddenly attack her from behind!

She had originally still maintained a bit of alertness but after staying on the top of the cliff for such a long time, she had not met with any danger hence there was a silent consent that it was absolutely safe at the top of the cliff.

At the current moment, to be attacked suddenly really could be said as she was caught totally unprepared!

However, her experience in battles was especially abundant and her response time was also extremely swift!

At the critical moment, she swiftly evaded to the right side as she rolled onto the ground, avoiding the fatal strike which was casted towards her back!

Huang Yueli rolled onto the ground for a moment and immediately got up, thinking of counter-attacking.

But by the time she turned around to look at the person, she realised that the person did not follow up with the attack but instead turned around heading towards the small mechanism which she had refined, attempting to cut the rope using a curved knife in his hand.

“Stop it!” Huang Yueli’s eyes turned wide as she called out sharply, gathering her Profound Energy and casting it towards the other party!

However, that person came prepared and his actions were extremely swift. Before Huang Yueli could arrive in time, his long sword blade had already fallen onto the rope!

A “Plop” sound was heard!

The long sword was swept with Profound Energy as it slashed heavily onto it! Even the ground was driven a deep mark as dust and mud flew everywhere!

Luo Jiyun also realised that something had happened on the top of the cliff but he was helpless right now.

Li Moying had tied him up tightly into a bundle to prevent him from falling and he was totally immovable. Of course, even if he wasn’t tied up, he was no different from a cripple so he couldn’t help Huang Yueli anyways.

Seeing that the other party wanted to cut off the rope, Luo Jiyun was scared witless that his heart almost jumped out from his mouth.

He witnessed the blade of the knife falling down towards the rope and shut his eyes tightly, awaiting the drop into the valley!Visit web novel. live If You like manga , comics

He had not expected that after Li Moying expended so much work but yet he was still going to die here!

But out of his expectations, Luo Jiyun waited for a while but had not felt the gravity pulling fall. On the contrary, he was lifted up by a distance again!

Luo Jiyun hurriedly opened his eyes and saw the masked man who had struck also dazed on the spot, apparently not expecting this rope to be so durable. A fifth tier upper grade Profound Weapon knife slashing down so hard and it actually… didn’t break off?

Huang Yueli took the opportunity while the masked man was in a daze to take out a large quantity of Thunder Flame Balls, throwing it towards him!

The masked man was shocked by the sudden obstruction and didn’t manage to respond in time. By the time he was aware of the danger, it was already too late.

Huang Yueli’s secret weapon exploded consecutively in front of him. He evaded to the left and right but was still bombed several times. With many injuries on his body, he had no choice but to retreat continuously!

Huang Yueli immediately rushed upwards towards the mechanism.

At this particular moment, she only had one thought in mind which was to pull Luo Jiyun up immediately!

Although the Immortal Binding Rope could resist against Profound Weapons which were fifth tiered and below, but the Profound Weapon in the masked man’s hand was a fifth tiered upper grade weapon. The Immortal Binding Rope could still resist against one or two slashes, but if the number of slashes increased, it would still break off!

So she made a prompt decision immediately!

Huang Yueli bent down and stretched out her arm to grab the Immortal Binding Rope while infusing her Profound Energy into it!

After that she used her strength to swing the rope, swinging up the rope into the sky!

The masked man’s eyes flashed past a shocked look as he cried out in alarm, “It’s bad! Quickly stop her! We can’t let her pull Li Moying up!”
