Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1811: The Dark War (13)

Panic surged through Kent’s body in all three forms.

Unfortunately, such an intense surge of emotion caused him to falter, allowing one of the three Pseudo-Primordial Dark Fiends he was locked in battle with to get close to him and stab its sword straight toward his heart.

The distance between them, coupled with the force behind the stab and the intense nature of the attack, would be fatal if it were to land on his body.

Thankfully, Kent reacted just in time, tilting himself just fast enough to limit the impact of the stab. But it still landed on his shoulder, causing bone and flesh to burst out.

He retreated, and he was healed the next second. Barely a moment after healing, he was back in an intense dance of steel and blood.

The source of his sudden panic was the Hair Domain that Dia had unleashed.

The first time he saw it was when Jest was returning to Inaya during the Divine Era. Back then, when they met, she was known as the Horror of the Stars, his heart demon, and the incarnation of Hera, Artemis’s big sister.

Learning that her sister had died following the Primordial Chaos Dragon, she was consumed by hatred and anger, allowing external corruption to take root within her and turning her beautiful self into a heart demon for the Chaos Dragon.

Chaos killed her, but she followed him into his next life. When they fought again, Jest suffered greatly before he managed to bring her down.

The Crimson Hair Entanglement Domain proved to be a very dangerous domain to shatter back then. So seeing it again brought back memories.

But something else seemed to make Kent panic, and it had to do with how she could unleash such power despite her cultivation base.

The last time he saw Dia, while she was able to harness her power as a Heart Demon, she could only affect others, taking over their minds.

She hadn’t gotten to the point where she could unleash the power of the Horror of the Stars. So seeing her unleash such power made him panic.

Thankfully, Tower was prepared for everything, so she calmed him down.

[The master has nothing to worry about. It appears Lady Dia has finally tapped into a bit of her power. I have already put measures in place that will prevent her from going beyond 50% of her second incarnation...]

’Uhm, that is good to hear, Tower. Though I must ask, if she can harness the power of the Horror of the Stars, then can she unleash the power of her other incarnations?’

Kent wanted to know mainly because he had faced her other incarnations, and each was a danger to him.

During the Shadow Era, she revealed herself while Faceless was exploring the Shadow Realm. Their battle lasted 100 days, resulting in Faceless sustaining numerous injuries.

Ruthless Bandit conquered her by devouring her. Well, he was a maniac himself, so it was only right that he had an easy time devouring her.

But if she could harness the powers of her other incarnation just like how Kent could, then when he managed to break free from his heart demon, Dia might just become the strongest in his harem.

[She would eventually awaken all those powers. But before she can make them her true power, we first have to handle the insidious power that stole her fate and destiny.]

’That is good, Tower. Keep an eye on her, and if she gets out of hand or is being influenced, knock her out and lock her inside the tower.’

[Okay, Master. But I believe you have nothing to worry about. If anything, you should be ready to witness her power once she is prepared.]

Kent could sense the joy in Tower’s tone, so he just smiled and sank his claws into the skull of a Dark Fiend, ripping its head off.

Just then, the sound of grass breaking reached his ears. His head turned due east, where a breathtaking beauty clad in silver armor swung her sword, unleashing an arc of glass that cut through and shattered everything in its path.

Enzi wasn’t messing around, especially now that she was a Demigod.

With every swing of her sword, her Glass Domain spread outward, shattering the Dark Fiends as though they were made of mere crystal.

”Gosh, she is breathtaking,” Kent admired Enzi’s beauty before turning away to handle his own growing number of opponents. The battle was far from over, not by a long shot.

Kent knew killing all the Dark Fiends was impossible, but winning was possible if only he could take the Dark Empress off the board.

She was the source of this infestation, so with her gone, the rest would find themselves stripped of power, turning into dust.

But killing her was proving difficult. He had to break through the three Pseudo-Primordials, which wasn’t proving easy. Regardless, he was making headway, and his legion and wives were doing an impeccable job as well.

Not too far from Enzi, Liora stabbed a Dark Fiend through the head, killing it.

She took a deep breath and surveyed the battlefield.

”Goodness gracious, Enzi, slow down a bit.” She smiled proudly as she watched her friend and sister shatter the Shadow Fiends as though they were glass statues.

Enzi turned and looked at Liora, flashing a mischievous smile. ”Obviously, I am going extra hard because I want more time with Kent. If I were you, I would quicken my pace unless you want to wait in line for months.”

The smile on Liora’s face died down, replaced by a dark and insidious one. At once, her body released intense darkness. Then she moved, and before her reply came, three Demigods had lost their heads.

”Let’s see who gets to spend time with him first and who gets stuck in line.”

She became the Shadow of Death, killing without reservation.

Enzi smiled and also unleashed a more potent ability, instantly manifesting thousands of glass swords. More shattering sounds filled the battlefield, showing she had no plans to lose to her sister.

With Kent’s dick on the line, she didn’t care if she had to win one over her best friend. They each wanted to spend the first and the most time with Kent since they had already tasked Tower with tracking who had the most kills.

That ranking would then determine the order in which they would take their turn with Kent.

As they say, even in the darkest times, there are moments worth celebrating.

Kent had no idea his wives had made such a bet. But even if he did, it wasn’t like he planned to stop them. With the time he had in the Chaos Chasm, he already had plans to spend time with them and awaken their True Names before he left again.

So if they had found a way to make things simpler for him, who was he to complain? The easier they made things for him, the more time he got to spend with them.

The only question now was who would get to go first...

Would it be the Mother of Killers, or the Joker augmented by Death himself? The race was tight, but one thing was certain: while all eyes remained on the two deadly women, some of their sisters were also proving to be a force to be reckoned with.

The race to be the first to climb the dragon rod might just be the most intense battle within this dark and twisted war.
