Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 814: Chapter 528: Qi Shu’s Confusion (Part 2)

[You told her that you couldn’t quite figure out the goal yourself either, only hoping to find the answer during the treasure hunt.]

Yazi listened to the dancer’s answer, showing an extremely happy expression, and handed the dancer a black orb.

[You received the Great Crystal Pearl from Yazi.]

The Great Crystal Pearl is a tool that helps a Pokémon complete its Great Crystal Transformation. Every Pokémon has its Great Crystal Attribute, which could be one of its own attributes or another.

[You gained a considerable amount of knowledge about Great Crystal Transformation from Yazi.]

The dancer was quite grateful for Yazi’s generous gift and, on a whim, asked her about the Celestial Star Team.

Unlike the students who didn’t dare speak and the teachers who wouldn’t speak.

After a moment of silence, Yazi told the dancer what she knew about the situation.

[You were shocked to learn that the Celestial Star Team is a group formed by bullied students banding together.]

Celestial Star Team.

The origin is a group of students who, after being bullied and having justice not served, banded together to form the Celestial Star Team and launched a resistance against those bad students who bullied them.

After a major turmoil, those bad students were scared into tears, apologized, and dropped out one after another.

However, at the time, the director of guidance covered up most of the truth, leading people to think of the Celestial Star Team as a group of trouble-making bad students. Their leader took on all the responsibility and voluntarily left school to take a leave of absence.

Not long after, the former principal and the director of guidance, along with several teachers, resigned, and the new principal, Claver, took office.

Since then, no one has spoken for the Celestial Star Team, and as time went by, the unregulated team gradually became a true group of bad students.

The dancer felt quite complicated after learning the whole story.

[You suddenly had the idea of helping the Celestial Star Team clear their name, just like they helped you, but you didn’t know where to start.]

Yazi saw the dancer’s thoughts and told her not to worry, as the new principal, Claver, was secretly investigating the truth, and since the Celestial Star Team originated from the leader who took a leave of absence, naturally, the leader should be the one to wrap things up.

[You were very happy to hear that the leader could return to campus in the future, but at the same time, you didn’t know what expression to use when facing the Celestial Star Team.]

The dancer wanted to make friends with the people in the Celestial Star Team, but from what Yazi said, she learned that the current team was disrupting campus order and even maliciously recruiting other students into the team, behaving no differently than many bad students.

This made her unsure whether to follow in Melok’s footsteps.

On the other hand, Yazi had no intention of helping the dancer with her worries or problems. After speaking about the Celestial Star Team, she left.

Leaving the dancer alone in place, facing Quaxwell and Oricorio with a face full of confusion.

What to do when confused?

Quaxwell provided the answer—

Dance.

Why worry so much?

Just dance!

Quaxwell took a step, and Oricorio couldn’t help but follow, and with both Pokémon joining in, the dancer couldn’t resist and started swaying with them, lost in the moment.

”This... Disney Princess Series...”

Baimu secretly mocked, yet understood that the simulator didn’t accelerate the dance process, so there must have been something happening, and his gaze began to drift around the area.

Sure enough, he spotted a green and white with a hint of red mosaic mass behind a big tree.

”Again!”

He felt a bit powerless to complain. Though it’s normal for a Trainer to capture wild Pokémon, how could the dancer be so strong? Always able to attract Pokémon by dancing.

Even musicians don’t get this kind of treatment, only managing to attract one or two at most...

Alright.

This guy even managed to attract a phantom beast.

The wild Pokémon appearing on the screen was a Steenee, a grass-type Pokémon that looked like a combination of a mangosteen and a young girl.

Like Oricorio, it was deeply attracted to the dancer’s moves.

Except, it had far more courage than Oricorio. Upon noticing it was discovered by the dancer, it not only didn’t run away but instead actively approached to join in the dance.

Except... it didn’t appear to have much talent for dancing.

It excelled at spinning in circles but could only spin in circles, unable to learn from its predecessor Oricorio dancing with the dancer.

After the dancer finished the dance, it even proactively wanted to join their team.

Of course, the dancer was very happy. Although Steenee’s dance was a bit lacking, it had great potential... Besides, it was incredibly cute, making it irresistible.

[You captured Steenee, adding an awkward dance partner to your team.]

An awkward dance partner indeed.

Baimu internally mocked, but was suddenly bumped under the chin by the Mawile in his arms, ”Ugh, what now?”

He once again looked cluelessly at the latter.

Porygon II kindly answered his question again.

’You were shaking your leg, shaking it really fast, and Mawile has tolerated it for quite a long time.’

Baimu: ”...”

Being regarded as a long time by Porygon II, it seemed like he had indeed been shaking it for a while... He clearly didn’t have this habit, right? The dancer’s dance was simply addictive.

”I’m leaving, I’m leaving!”

He surrendered with both hands in the air, hurriedly leaving the area to find Aggron.

On the screen.

After the dance, still feeling confused, the dancer decided to hit the road, believing that the upcoming journey would provide her with answers.

Just like encountering Oricorio and Steenee, defeating Kousha to earn the first badge.

Continue the ’treasure hunt,’ continue the journey.

Someday, she would get what she wanted.

——

Passing through East District One.

The dancer arrived at East District Two, planning to head directly to Brewlight City to challenge the Gym there.

Along the way, as in the past, she met a number of classmates, both older and younger, men and women, of all sorts.

In the face of their invitation to a communal picnic, the dancer, contrary to her usual self, agreed more often than not.

With the power of dance, she quickly got to know those classmates, quietly inquiring about their views on the Celestial Star Team, finding that some were afraid, others dismissive, and some even eager to eliminate them for the public good.

The dancer didn’t tell others that the Celestial Star Team was actually a good organization, merely listening.

After all, she knew very well that the current Celestial Star Team must have done bad things, and simply narrating the past was meaningless. Without corrections and punishment, it was unrealistic to abruptly make others believe the Celestial Star Team was good.

During this time.

The dancer didn’t forget to battle more and accumulate strength. The battles with Kousha and Melok made her realize that Gym Leaders are actually quite powerful, adjusting the strength of their Pokémon to accommodate students of differing abilities.

As more badges are obtained, the difficulty of the Gyms naturally increases.

And learning from classmates that Brewlight Gym is an Electric Attribute Gym, the dancer used collected golden honey to transform Oricorio into an Electric and Flying Attribute form—

[Your Oricorio transformed, now in the Sparky style.]

The Sparky style Oricorio turned from a fiery dancer into a lively cheerleader, with tufts of fluffy plumage on the tips of its wings, resembling pom-poms.

After completing a series of preparations, the dancer set off.

[You bid farewell to your newly made friends and arrived at Brewlight City.]

The dancer stood in front of the neon-filled steel jungle, with both herself and the Pokémon around her adorned with exclamation marks, clearly shocked by the sight.

Brewlight City.

A high-tech modern metropolis that looked somewhat similar to Castelia City in Unova when pixelated.

The dancer initially planned to go straight to challenge the Gym, but was inevitably drawn to the bustling commercial street, falling into a shopping frenzy.

Fortunately, the simulator sped up the process, allowing the dancer to soon reach Brewlight Gym.

As usual, registration.

Alongside with a small challenge.

But the unique part was that, because the Brewlight Gym Leader, Qi Shu, was a popular streamer, the challenge involved the dancer figuring out how to boost the stream’s excitement.

Originally Qi Shu was supposed to have a pre-arranged program, intending to challenge the dancer a bit first.

But who knew the dancer would, without a word, immediately break out into a sailor’s dance, followed by a flamenco, a string of dances leaving Qi Shu dumbfounded.

Qi Shu: [...?]

What is happening?

Where am I?

Is this my stream?

Clearly, having been a Gym Leader for so many years, this was the first time encountering such a challenger, and the key was that the dancer indeed boosted the stream’s popularity!

Why, of course, it’s a beautiful girl dancing!

From the fact that those two bad students bullied the dancer partly because of her looks, it speaks volumes about how extraordinary her face was.
