Peerless Divine Doctor

”Who is he? He seems to be very close with Shi Yanran, could it be that he’s her boyfriend?”

The people around were all buzzing with discussion.

”Right, now I remember, wasn’t there a report indicating that Shi Yanran had a rumored boyfriend in Zhonghai, it seems that it’s him,” a member of a drama crew said with a sudden sharp look at Ye Luo.

”So it is, I heard that Pu Jingtian is also chasing after Shi Yanran, these two wouldn’t be challenging each other over her, would they?” some people guessed.

”Then this guy is probably going to end up very miserable.”

”Exactly, Pu Jingtian won his title of martial arts star through real combat, and it’s said that he has reached the ninth dan of Taekwondo, a rare master among the younger generation in the entire Goryeo Kingdom.”

”Moreover, Pu Jingtian’s master is said to be the president of the Asian Taekwondo Association, a Taekwondo grandmaster of his generation.”

The people present were all talking about Pu Jingtian’s formidable strength, their words filled with mockery and sympathy towards Ye Luo, clearly not considering an ordinary guy like Ye Luo a match for Pu Jingtian.

Especially Pu Jingtian’s entourage, which was loudly praising him and continuously belittling Ye Luo, thinking he was asking for trouble.

Hearing their words, Pu Jingtian’s expression instantly became even more arrogant, tilting his neck, he looked down at Ye Luo with a condescending gaze, ”Kid, now you know how formidable I am, don’t tell me you’re so scared you’re pissing your pants.”

”Hahaha...”

Pu Jingtian laughed wildly.

”If you’re going to fight, then fight, why waste words.” Ye Luo casually said as he cleaned his ears, as if he didn’t take Pu Jingtian seriously at all.

”Hmph, damned guy, I’ll make you realize the strength of Pu Jingtian, you’re not worthy to be with Miss Yan Ran.”

Pu Jingtian coldly spat out, his hands suddenly clenched into fists and placed in front of his chest, his legs in a slanting horse stance, with the right leg pushed slightly back, adopting the most common forward step posture in Taekwondo.

”Ha!”

Pu Jingtian let out a low shout, pushed off with his back leg, and charged straight forward, exuding a fierce aura, and when he was one meter away from Ye Luo, he suddenly raised his leg high and delivered a harsh kick towards Ye Luo.

That kick was incredibly fast, not only that, but it was fierce and carried with it a great ”strength.” Obviously, Pu Jingtian was not one of those martial arts stars who owed their image to wire work, but had genuine martial arts strength.

Swish!

However, Ye Luo just sidestepped slightly in response to that kick and avoided it effortlessly.

Seeing Ye Luo dodge his strike, Pu Jingtian once again tapped the ground with his right foot, leapt up, and then performed a 180-degree turn in midair with a high difficulty twist, sweeping his leg towards Ye Luo.

”Good!”

Watching that graceful and dazzling move, everyone on the scene applauded and the number of onlookers increased, even the drama crew’s directors stood there watching.

”Be careful,” Shi Yanran muttered silently in her heart, looking a bit anxious.

Faced with that kick, Ye Luo’s head tilted slightly back, and the kick passed by his face.

Following that, Pu Jingtian revealed a cold smile as his airborne body turned once more, a 360-degree spin this time, rising another meter, and delivered a fierce stomp towards Ye Luo’s chest, which was so rapid and fierce that most people couldn’t evade it.

Seeing Pu Jingtian’s consecutive high difficulty and flashy moves, the crowd erupted in applause, and some women looked at Pu Jingtian with an infatuated expression.

Bursts of applause and cheering arose, making Pu Jingtian’s smile at the corner of his mouth even wider, while his gaze coldly fixed on Ye Luo. With this kick, his opponent was bound to be bedridden for a few days.

However, just when Pu Jingtian was fully confident that he could land the kick on Ye Luo, the latter’s face revealed a playful smile. There wasn’t any sign of tension or worry, as his right hand abruptly shot out, seizing the oncoming foot in its grasp.

Following that, Ye Luo exerted strength with his right hand, tightly clutching the other’s right foot, twisted his body, and harshly flung his opponent’s leg out.

Bang!

In an instant, Pu Jingtian flew out like an arrow, crashing violently against the wall of the gym, a thunderous boom resounded, and cracks appeared on the wall.

Lying on the ground, Pu Jingtian kept spitting out blood, his face twisted in agony, while moans escaped his lips.

For a moment, everyone in the gym was stunned, the cheering from just moments ago came to an abrupt halt, their eyes wide open in shock, not having anticipated such an outcome.

The famed Taekwondo star of Goryeo Kingdom, a ninth-degree black belt, and the disciple of the president of the Asian Taekwondo Association, had been KO’d in a single move, the sudden turn of events was just too drastic.

”So this is Taekwondo? Just like Judo from the Island Country, they both can’t take a hit. In the future, you should learn more from our Huaxia martial arts. You’ve disappointed me too much.”

With just a few simple words from Ye Luo, Pu Jingtian spurted out another mouthful of blood and fainted from anger.

”Jing Tian!”

At that moment, Pu Jingtian’s agent and assistant quickly came to their senses, their expressions changed, and they rushed over with worried faces.

”Bastard, you’ve hurt my Jing Tian so badly, I’ll definitely call the police and have you arrested.”

Pu Jingtian’s agent pointed at Ye Luo while shouting furiously.

”Clearly, this guy wanted to compare martial arts with me, who knew he was so feeble? I was just warming up and he couldn’t handle it, you can’t blame me for this,” Ye Luo spread his hands, speaking innocently.

”You really are quite something,” Shi Yanran said, looking at Ye Luo and smiling gracefully, a smile so captivating it was intoxicating.

Regardless, in the end, Pu Jingtian was urgently taken to the hospital, and it was estimated that he wouldn’t be able to leave his bed for several months.

”Director, what should we do now? With Pu Jingtian hospitalized and injured, we’ve lost our male lead. How are we supposed to continue filming?” the production manager asked with a bitter expression, looking at the director.

”I’m sorry, director, this is mainly my fault. If I have caused any loss to the crew, I am willing to bear it,” Shi Yanran said, a hint of guilt in her expression, as she spoke to the director upon hearing the production manager’s words.

Yet, the director’s eyes were shining as he looked at Ye Luo, making the latter feel somewhat uneasy.

”Director, what are you looking at?” the production manager asked, confused and puzzled.

”Isn’t there one last scene left? Just find a body double,” the director said bluntly.

”But where do we find a martial artist to be the body double at this point?”

”Isn’t there a ready-made one right here?” the director said, looking at Ye Luo with a beaming smile.
