Peerless Divine Doctor

”So what was the meaning of your actions today, blatantly injuring the Vice President inside the company and declaring those words, what are you trying to do? It seems that in the past few days that I haven’t managed you, you’ve become more and more audacious, not only are you late for work every day, but now you even dare to assault a leader.”

”Let me tell you, in Ling Corporation, you are just an employee, not some big young master of the Ye Family, nor are you my fiancé.”

Ling Qingya directly exerted her authority, bellowing coldly at Ye Luo. After all, she was a president, and once she got angry, she naturally exuded a sense of authority. Any other person would have already fallen silent as a cicada in winter. However, for Ye Luo, this sort of ostentatious might couldn’t exert the slightest pressure on him.

After Ling Qingya scolded him for a long time and saw that Ye Luo had no response, she fixed her gaze on him and noticed that Ye Luo was looking around nonchalantly, even sizing her up several times. His eyes seemed to be wandering off somewhere else, which immediately infuriated her even more. She grabbed something from the desk and hurled it fiercely at Ye Luo.

Shit!

Watching as Ling Qingya grabbed a water cup and hurled it at him, Ye Luo was startled, twisted his body, and a hand shot out swiftly, grabbing the water cup without spilling a drop.

But before Ye Luo could relax, pens, folders, and a pen holder, among other things, were all thrown at him.

What the hell...

Ye Luo cursed silently, but he moved swiftly, his hands leaving a trail of afterimages in the air as he caught all the objects Ling Qingya had thrown, even holding a pen in his mouth.

”President, don’t I look awesome?”

Ye Luo spoke with a pen between his teeth, looking smugly at Ling Qingya with a self-admiring expression.

Ling Qingya was so enraged that she gritted her teeth and huffed, ”I just don’t believe I can’t hit you.”

Finally, Ling Qingya bent down and actually took off her eighteen-centimeter-high heel and hurled it fiercely at Ye Luo.

Whoosh!

The high heel traced a perfect arc in the air and flew towards Ye Luo.

Damn, this is deadly.

Ye Luo thought to himself, but he remained calm and stretched out a hand, ’snap’, catching the black high heel and then bringing it to his nose to sniff.

A rich scent wafted to his nose, not the stink of foot odor, but a faint fragrance.

Damn, this beauty is something else, even her shoes have a scent, Ye Luo couldn’t help but show a look of intoxication.

Seeing Ye Luo actually sniffing her high heel in front of his nose, and even looking intoxicated.

Especially the sleazy and lowly look on Ye Luo’s face made Ling Qingya utterly furious. She immediately grabbed her other high heel and threw it at Ye Luo with all her might.

This time, the high heel flew even faster, creating a gust of wind in mid-air. If it hit, it could definitely crack someone’s skull.

Ye Luo was still immersed in the intoxicating fragrance, but suddenly he sensed danger. His body instinctively shifted to the side, and the high heel grazed past his body, flying towards the office door.

”Qing Ya Sister!”

But just at that moment, the office door suddenly opened, and a delicate and sweet voice rang out, a youthful girl wearing a sky-blue pleated skirt appeared.

The girl’s face was as delicate and fair as a freshly peeled egg, smooth and moist. Her eyebrows were like crescent moons, and her bright eyes sparkled with a sly glint. Under her petite nose was a pair of cherry lips, colored with gloss, slightly parted, tempting one to take a bite.

Her entire demeanor radiated youthful vivacity and had a touch of quick-witted charm, an aura not just anyone could possess, proving the woman’s extraordinaryness.

And this girl was none other than Han Mengxi, the little beauty Ye Luo had met at Ling Qingya’s villa last time.

But at that moment, as Han Mengxi had just opened the door, she caught sight of a black object hurtling towards her, giving her no chance to react or dodge, and her large eyes showed a hint of stupor.

”Ah, Meng Xi!”

Seeing this, Ling Qingya’s face drastically changed, and she couldn’t help but cry out in shock. She had not anticipated that her high heel, instead of hitting Ye Luo, would fly towards Han Mengxi. If it hit, Han Mengxi’s head would definitely be bleeding, and then it would all be over.

But Ling Qingya’s attempt to stop it was too late, after all, she wasn’t a superhero and couldn’t instantly appear in front of Han Mengxi.

Whoosh!

However, in that critical moment, Ye Luo transformed into a superhero. His body moved faster than the high-flying heel, appearing in front of Han Mengxi. With a swift flick of his hand, he caught the high heel, averting disaster for Han Mengxi.

Phew~

Seeing Ye Luo catch the high heel and save Han Mengxi, Ling Qingya let out a deep breath of relief, feeling sweat beading on her forehead, but she didn’t care about that, quickly stepping forward.

”Meng Xi, are you okay? You weren’t scared, were you?”

”Uh... I... I’m fine.”

After a moment of stunned silence, Han Mengxi came to her senses and replied, her pretty face turning somewhat pale with fright.

”Hey, pretty girl, shouldn’t you be thanking me? If it weren’t for me, your beautiful face might have been ruined, and you could have been saying goodbye to this world.”

Ye Luo pursed his lips and shifted his gaze towards Han Mengxi.

”Hmph! Thank you, my foot!”

Looking at Ye Luo, Han Mengxi pouted and huffed petulantly.

”Wow, little lady, not only do you not thank me, but you also get sassy with me. Today, I’m going to properly discipline you, so you’ll learn just how awesome I am.”

Rolling up his sleeves, Ye Luo was ready to teach the little miss a lesson.

”Ye Luo!”

At that moment, Ling Qingya’s cold voice rang out again, causing Ye Luo’s face to change instantly. He looked pleadingly at Ling Qingya and said, ”President, do you have any further instructions?”

”Let’s leave the matter at that, but I warn you, behave yourself in the company from now on. If something like this happens again, you’re out.”

”Yes, yes, yes, I understand. I promise there won’t be a next time.”

Ye Luo said with a sheepish smile, feeling a weight lift off his heart.

”Qingya, do you have time? Can you come out and play with me? I’m so bored staying at home alone.”

Han Mengxi moved closer and clung to Ling Qingya’s arm, coquettishly pulling on her.

”Why didn’t you go to class today?”

Ling Qingya looked at Han Mengxi in surprise.

”I have already finished all the courses from my sophomore to senior year. It’s pointless to go to school. It’s better not to go.”

Han Mengxi pouted, speaking casually.

Ye Luo’s eyes showed a hint of surprise, not realizing that this little miss was actually an academic overachiever.
