Peerless Divine Doctor

”Director Xu, I don’t need it; I just want to work properly. Please let me go.”

Lin Xiaoyan’s eyes shimmered with tears, her pretty face filled with helplessness, evoking a sense of pity. She had long heard of the director’s infamous deeds and dared not to let her guard down.

Faced with Lin Xiaoyan’s expression, Xu Weiliang’s inner thoughts grew even stronger, and he had even begun to fantasize.

”Xiaoyan, I like you just the way you are. Today I’ve decided on you, and I also want you to be my little lover from now on.”

Xu Weiliang said greedily, clearly wanting to dominate the beautiful nurse for the long term.

”No... don’t, Director Xu, I beg of you.”

Lin Xiaoyan struggled incessantly but was unable to escape Xu Weiliang’s control.

”Come here!”

Xu Weiliang grabbed Lin Xiaoyan. She gritted her teeth, pushed him away, and hurriedly rushed towards the door, only to be blocked by him.

”Lin Xiaoyan, think about your family. You need this job, and your father; how will you save your grandfather without work?” Director Xu said calmly.

Bang!

At the crucial moment, Ye Luo burst in, his face stern and his eyes flashing with anger.

Motherf*cker, I haven’t even touched this girl, and this old man dares to make a move on her...

Ye Luo cursed coarsely under his breath and charged over, grabbing the other man’s collar and flinging him backward.

With a bang, Xu Weiliang, weighing over a hundred kilos, was thrown by Ye Luo into the wall behind him, making a dull sound.

Xu Weiliang’s pained screams followed while Ye Luo’s gaze turned to Lin Xiaoyan, whose pretty face was pale.

Her bright eyes gleamed with tears, leaving two streaks down her face that, combined with her delicate, child-like features, made Ye Luo feel an urge to hold her close and cherish her.

”Nurse Lin, it’s all right now, don’t worry.”

Ye Luo looked at Lin Xiaoyan and said with a bright smile.

”Ye... Mr. Ye!”

Seeing Ye Luo, Lin Xiaoyan’s beautiful eyes showed surprise and a hint of joy.

”Bastard, who are you to barge into my office like this?”

At that moment, Xu Weiliang, clutching his body, stood up and pointed at Ye Luo, yelling angrily, with fury in his eyes.

Ye Luo’s eyebrows furrowed, and he spun around to face Xu Weiliang, saying coldly, ”Someone like you, an old man with kidney deficiency, wants to insult such a beautiful nurse? Aren’t you afraid you’ll drop dead halfway through and meet the Netherworld King?”

Upon hearing Ye Luo’s words, Xu Weiliang’s face darkened, and he retorted angrily, ”Young man, what nonsense are you spouting?”

Slap!

Ye Luo had no intention of showing mercy to such a vile predator. He slapped the man across the face, knocking him to the ground, then charged forward to beat him furiously.

This guy was corrupting the youthful blossoms of the nation and deserved a harsh lesson. It was lucky Ye Luo arrived in time, or a poor girl would have been ruined.

Office was filled with Xu Weiliang’s pig-like screams, causing Lin Xiaoyan’s face to change slightly. She hurried forward and looked at Ye Luo with concern, saying, ”Maybe we should stop; we might kill him like this.”

”Hmph, people like him need a harsh lesson, or who knows how many more youthful blossoms of our country he will harm in the future.”

Ye Luo curled his lips and snorted.

At this moment, the door to the office opened again and the Dean hurried in. On seeing the scene before him, his face changed instantly.

”Mr. Ye, please show some mercy!”

The Dean looked at Ye Luo with utmost politeness, his eyes darting to Xu Weiliang who had been beaten beyond recognition. A shock flashed through his heart and fear filled his gaze as he looked at Ye Luo.

Seeing the Dean emerge, Ye Luo finally stopped. Xu Weiliang had been beaten so badly that his face was completely disfigured, a pitiful sight that stirred a pang of pity in the hearts of onlookers.

”Dean... Dean...”

On spotting the Dean, Xu Weiliang tried to speak through his swollen eyes and trembling lips.

”Mr. Ye, what on earth happened here?”

The Dean asked Ye Luo, glancing briefly at Lin Xiaoyan. He already had a clear idea of what had transpired, being quite aware of Xu Weiliang’s underhand dealings as the Dean.

However, since Xu Weiliang had notable connections and was in good standing with a Zhonghai underworld boss, the Dean hadn’t voiced any objections.

Moreover, given the benefits Xu Weiliang occasionally provided, the Dean had not been overzealous in his oversight, as long as Xu Weiliang avoided causing any serious trouble. Yet unexpectedly, both he and his uncle had now crossed paths with Ye Luo.

”Dean, your hospital certainly doesn’t lack remarkable individuals. First, there was your uncle who only acknowledged money and had no medical ethics, and now there’s this shameless scoundrel, a Human Resources Director who taints young girls. You really do live up to the role of Dean.”

Ye Luo’s voice was tinged with a cold chill.

The Dean’s expression shifted rapidly as he quickly replied, ”Mr. Ye, I apologize, this was all due to my negligence. I will definitely tighten the hospital’s administration in the future to prevent such incidents from happening again.”

”I don’t want people like him to continue working in the hospital, or else I don’t mind changing who holds the position of Dean.”

Ye Luo sneered. With his current status as a Major in the Xuan Unit of the Special Security Agency, he certainly had the authority to replace a Dean.

”Of course, of course.”

Hearing Ye Luo’s words, the Dean’s face turned pale as he nodded hastily in agreement.

”Nurse sister, let’s go.”

Ye Luo turned to Lin Xiaoyan with a slight smile and promptly took her hand, leading her away from the place.

”The Dean, he...”

Xu Weiliang watched as Ye Luo brazenly left the scene, anger flickering in his swollen eyes.

”Xu Weiliang, this man has an extraordinary identity, and you’ve greatly offended him. From today onwards, it’s better for you not to stay in this hospital anymore.”

The next second, Xu Weiliang clenched his fists, a cold glint passing through his swollen eyes.

Ye Luo, holding Lin Xiaoyan’s hand, left the seventh floor directly and entered the elevator.

”Can... can you let go of my hand?”

That’s when Lin Xiaoyan’s low, muffled voice sounded, and Ye Luo suddenly realized he was still holding Lin Xiaoyan’s hand, her face now a deep blush. Her previously tear-filled eyes were now brimming with embarrassment.

”Oh, sorry.”

Ye Luo gave an awkward smile and released her soft, smooth hand, which felt as if it had no bones.

Lin Xiaoyan withdrew her hand as if electrocuted and clutched the corner of her nurse uniform, looking somewhat uncomfortable.
