One Trait Draw Per Year Even Simulations Count

[Year 20, age 46.]

[The Winged God Church has been destroyed.]

[The territory on Lingwei Star was split in two, half going to the Winged Ancestor Church, and half to the Human Race.]

[Inside the Grand Marshal’s residence, Xiang Xing and Sotuofeiren stand before you.]

[Xiang Xing has already reached the Qi Transformation realm.]

[Since arriving on Lingwei Star, he trained while fighting, and his cultivation level improved rapidly.]

[Sotuofeiren was all smiles.]

[”My lord, now that our greatest enemy, the Winged God Church, has completely collapsed, the remaining small fries have all surrendered upon seeing which way the wind blows, they are nothing to fear! So, it’s time to return the Winged Ancestor Church to your hands.”]

[”Me? No, the Winged Ancestor Church has always belonged to you, Xunlan, and the other four.”]

[”Then how should I deal with those Winged people? Bury them alive, or burn them to death? And what about the other Alien Races, should I do them all in one go!”][Sotuofeiren put on a ferocious expression, completely oblivious to the fact that he himself was also a Winged man and an alien.]

[Xiang Xing, standing nearby, could only shake his head in exasperation at Sotuofeiren.]

[At first, Xiang Xing, Liu Ying, and the others were worried about you trusting a few Winged men. They knew all too well how treacherous the Alien Races could be, and they feared these Winged men might betray you at a critical moment.]

[After all, the five of them from the Void Realm played far too critical a role now.]

[The entire Winged Ancestor Church had no idea that their true benefactor was you. They only knew they were following the Winged Ancestor’s Emissary and worshipping the Winged Ancestor.]

[In other words, the vassal of your vassal was not your vassal. They even considered themselves your enemies.]

[”There’s no need to execute anyone. Let them live their lives, let them cultivate, and if they want to develop their social structures, that’s fine too.

Do as you please, with only one rule: no discrimination or oppression against the Human Race, or any other race.

Everyone is equal. If you want social resources and status, earn it with your abilities.”]

[Sotuofeiren couldn’t quite understand.]

[”My lord, I thought you wanted to eliminate all Alien Races?”]

[”I’d love to, but objectively speaking, that wouldn’t be a wise choice...”]

[You shared some knowledge with your trusted subordinates.]

[As everyone knew, the Human Race had been suppressed for far too long.]

[For thousands of years, humans in the Winged Feather stellar system had been at the slave class.]

[Now, because of your appearance, the Human Race had gained some martial strength. Combined with your foresight, thorough preparation, and strategic implementation, humanity had reclaimed their homeland and stood tall once more.]

[But the reality was.]

[Their culture was broken.]

[Their social systems had collapsed.]

[Technology was in the hands of the Alien Races.]

[The currency chaos unfolding on Fortune Star was just one of the hundreds of problems humanity faced in rebuilding their homeland.]

[So, a complete separation from the Alien Races was not an option right now.]

[The Human Race needed help from some Alien Races.]

[To relearn technology, to figure out social structures suited to the current environment, and to recover their own culture from the collections of certain Alien Races.]

[These things couldn’t be done by the Human Race alone.]

[If they killed all the Alien Races, it would be even more impossible. That would mean humanity would have to start evolving their culture and society from scratch.]

[In a sense, that would be a tremendous loss.]

[”Not all humans are good, and not all Alien Races are evil. As long as they are willing to sincerely communicate and cooperate with humanity, the Human Race shouldn’t face them with an extremely exclusionary attitude either.”]

[Xiang Xing, a man of martial arts, was clearly baffled by all this, and asked.]

[”But didn’t you say before, ’Those who are not of my kind must have different hearts’?”]

[You held up two fingers.]

[”’Guarding against Alien Races’ and ’cooperating with Alien Races’ are not contradictory. The key lies in mastering the balance between the two.

Think about it. We’ve only just reclaimed one stellar system, and if we commit genocide here, what will we face in the future?”]

[When the topic was framed like this, Xiang Xing’s mind started working.]

[”The Alien Races in the surrounding stellar systems would see us as a massive threat, not an internal problem of the Winged Feather system. They would join forces to crush us!]

[”Exactly. This is a truth that all Alien Races understand. No matter how much they fear the resurgence of humanity, they still haven’t exterminated us completely, because they aren’t a monolith either. They also fear being ganged up on.”]

[Sotuofeiren felt the weight on his shoulders suddenly grow heavier.]

[The people of the Winged Ancestor Church only recognized him, Xunlan, and the other four. They did not recognize you or the Rebel Army.]

[Whether the two sides could coexist peacefully on Lingwei Star all depended on how Sotuofeiren, Xunlan, and the other four mediated between them.]

[The good news was.]

[Sotuofeiren had been a City Lord before. He was a politician, and balancing war and peace was exactly his specialty.]

[”Besides, there’s currently one hard requirement that forces us to preserve a portion of the Alien Races.”]

[”What is it?”]

[”The Ares Immortal Kingdom will send an Imperial Commissioner to inspect the Winged Feather stellar system next year. We need the Alien Races to continue playing the role of rulers of this stellar system, so that the Ares Immortal Kingdom won’t grow suspicious.”]

[You knew full well the attitude of the major Alien Race powers across the universe toward humanity.]

[The Ares Immortal Kingdom, one of the two great Immortal Kingdoms of the Southern Star Realm, was no exception.]

[The Winged God Church had always been under the jurisdiction of the Ares Immortal Kingdom, required to pay regular taxes and carry out certain orders and policies of the Ares Immortal Kingdom.]

[Right now, you obviously didn’t have the strength to contend with an Immortal Kingdom, so you had to put on a show and maintain the previous status quo of governance.]

[Instead of directly rebelling against the Ares Immortal Kingdom.]

[Sotuofeiren frowned deeply.]

[”I’m afraid it won’t be easy to fool them. The entire Lingwei Star has changed drastically, this...”]

[The corners of your mouth curled up.]

[”As long as that person is still there, the problem won’t be big.”]

[Year 21, age 47.]

[Extracting trait tags...]

[Extraction successful!]

[”Give Me the Power!” (Gold Legendary):

Friend, do you know what WiFi is?

You can share your cultivation level with others. The recipient gains the same realm, Divine Abilities, cultivation techniques, and Divine Arts as you, but cannot gain your trait tag effects.

A maximum of ten people can connect simultaneously, and each shared cultivation session lasts up to one shichen.

A single person must wait at least twelve shichen between consecutive cultivation shares.

Sharing your cultivation with others has no adverse effects on you.

If the recipient is far away from you, as long as they shout a catchphrase you’ve set, you will be alerted and can decide whether to share.

We recommend setting your catchphrase to ”Give me the power, I am He-Man!” Isn’t that cool?]

[Adjust trait tag?]

[Yes/No.]

”Wow...”

Chen Yi, staring at the simulation screen, couldn’t help but be impressed by this brand-new version of the Gold Legendary trait tag.

”It can actually let others possess my cultivation level? Although I’m at the Extreme Terrain Realm now, and copying it ten times isn’t all that impressive, but in the future? Transcendent Realm? Immortal Lord level? Immortal King level? Even...”

Chen Yi couldn’t suppress the smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
