Omega Summoner

Chapter 2457: The Deal with the Trickster

The Primordial Beast of Pride looked at the contract and liked that it mostly favored itself than the god that offered it. The only thing that the Primordial Beast of Pride needs to take note of is the fact that he must not become aggressive to Asgard. The Primordial Beast of Pride does not care for that because it believes that even Asgard will bow down to it once it becomes the Beast of Ogdoad.

The fact that the Aesir Gods would promise the Primordial Beast of Pride with the Infinity Core is something that the latter did not expect. This contract basically solidified the Primordial Beast of Pride becoming the Beast of Ogdoad. Still, the Primordial Beast of Pride wanted to say no at first, but its own pride did not want to spoil it. The own pride of the Primordial Beast of Pride made it basically impossible for it to decline the contract as it placed itself in a pedestal.

”This contract might not benefit me as much, but I am a magnanimous being that will sign it. It seems that the Nordic Gods are in some dilemma since you refer to yourselves as the Aesir Gods instead. I will not pry as this great being will sign this in order to help you pitiful gods.” The Primordial Beast of Pride stated as the contract is stamped by its own signature mana which sealed the deal.

”Thank you for considering working with us. This humble assistant of yours will make sure that you shall become the Beast of Ogdoad.” The God Loki stated with a smile that is fake but did not look fake at all.

The God Loki is basically mocking the Primordial Beast of Pride in its thoughts as the beast before it may have taken on human form, but it does not have the craftiness of humans. The fact that it signed the contract without even adding a clause that the Primordial Beast of Pride must be the only one among its siblings to become the Beast of Ogdoad is definitely an oversight. The beast before it is nothing more than a being with a great ego that can be easily manipulated if one plays their cards right.

”Still, I can only pin my hopes on this egomaniac as my other clones that came to strike deals with the other Primordial Beast of Sin were killed before they could even speak. The humans should be plotting to kill the other four anyways so feeding this egomaniac will be easy. I will just need to get the needed supply in order to make him into the Beast of Ogdoad.” The God Loki thought.

The God Loki actually wanted to prepare a deal to all the Primordial Beasts of Sin as he wanted to have them compete on who gets to become the Beast of Ogdoad. The only problem is that the Primordial Beasts of Sin that regained their true form have killed any god that gets near them. Even the Primordial Beast of Lust that seems easy to talk to was very adamant in killing his clone when they became acquainted.

”It seems that the others are still caught up in their hatreds for the gods. Only the egomaniac is not filled with hate because it is filled with thoughts of itself. Also, it has experienced betrayal from its own siblings which means it is a cornered animal. This will be fun as a cornered animal is always fun to see on what they can do.” The God Loki thought with a smile.

”What are you looking at? Are you realizing that I have a radiant glow that can even defeat the sun? I may occupy this human shell for now, but my own radiance cannot be limited by it, I see.” The Primordial Beast of Pride stated.

”You are correct! I am merely in awe of your power and beauty that cannot be hidden by the human flesh. Do you not want to get flesh that is made up of your own primordial energy? You should be able to do so since you already have the power of your two siblings.” The God Loki stated.

”I do not need to alert my siblings just yet. I want them to be stunned that I will be the one that kills them. They say surprises are often the most beautiful thing that one can encounter! I am beautiful which means that I am full of surprises!” The Primordial Beast of Pride stated without even batting an eye.

”If that is what you want then we can just rely on the humans to defeat your siblings. They will do the dirty work for us since that is beneath something like yourself.” The God Loki stated which made the Primordial Beast of Pride even more excited as if the latter found someone that truly understands it.

”Yes! I guess even the gods are as great as me in terms of intellect! I am merely waiting for the humans to weaken my siblings, and I will come for the surprise attack to kill them! Tell me, Loki… do you know which of my siblings will the humans attack first?!” The Primordial Beast of Pride stated.

”I may be a god, but I do not know everything that mortals think of.” The God Loki replied with his eyebrow raised as the Primordial Beast of Pride basically just called him without honorifics.

”I see. If a powerful god as yourself is useless when it comes to those things then that means that the gods more powerful than you are not any better. Come! This great me will find a way to know what the humans are thinking as that is what I am good at!” The Primordial Beast of Pride stated.

The God Loki was about to slice the head of the Primordial Beast of Pride when it basically insulted him, but he needed to be patient. This egomaniac beast is needed by them for now. They can just kill it once they have achieved their purpose as there was nothing in the contract that the Aesir Gods cannot kill it.
