As Sasuke and Gaara stood in front of each other, the referee started the match.

The next moment, Gaara sent a massive wave of sand towards Sasuke. Each grain of sand was infused with his Chakra, allowing him to perfectly control it.

He sent the wave towards Sasuke, creating several long whips of sand to catch Sasuke from different directions.

But Sasuke had already opened his three tomoe Sharingan and activated its precognition abilities.

As he saw those sand whips, he quickly jumped back, and while in mid-air, he started weaving hand signs.

[Fire Release- Great Fireball Jutsu]

He inhaled some air before releasing a massive flame towards Gaara’s sand, turning the flames into the shape of a ball.

Boom!

The fireball collided with the sand, destroying those whips before they could even elongate themselves.

But Gaara wasn’t done with a simple attack like that. He conjured a clone of himself using his sand and let it attack Sasuke.

Sasuke took out several of his shuriken and threw them towards Gaara’s sand clone, destroying it before it could even approach Sasuke.

Because Sasuke had already seen his power before, he knew what to expect from Gaara.

That’s why, without much hesitation, Sasuke activated lightning release to empower his speed and instantly rushed towards Gaara.

Gaara’s sand immediately formed a barrier in front of Sasuke, but before Gaara could react, Sasuke appeared behind him.

With his fist reaching for Gaara’s cheek, Sasuke punched with everything he had.

Bang!

Gaara’s body flew back several meters before falling to the ground as several cracks appeared on his face.

”Kakashi, what kind of training did you put him through?” Guy couldn’t help but ask.

”If it’s just Taijutsu, it won’t be enough to defeat him.”

Kakashi left an eye smile and said.

”Don’t worry, I taught him something that’s exactly useful for this battle.”

Just as he said that, Sasuke found Gaara covering himself within a ball of sand.

As Sasuke tried to punch his way through, that sand ball released several sharp sand spikes.

If not for his Sharingan, he would’ve been pierced by those spikes. Fortunately, he managed to dodge them on time.

At this moment, Fourth Kazekage, aka Orochimaru, couldn’t help but smirk.

’Ahh, three tomoe already! What did you go through, Sasuke? This makes me so happy.’

On the other hand, several Anbu-masked ninjas began to surround the arena. Their movement didn’t go unnoticed, but nobody did anything.

Not even Naruto, who had already sensed their presence.

But he did keep his senses on them. He knew the moment they made their move, he could apprehend them.

For now, he just wanted to watch the battle.

It was getting more interesting. With the awakening of the Three Tomoe Sharingan, Sasuke had better control over his Chidori.

He didn’t need to fly into the walls; he simply started forming hand signs on the spot before generating lightning chakra in his hand.

Gaara tried to interrupt Sasuke using his sand. Even though he was completely covered in sand, he could sense Sasuke’s presence.

With his sensory ability, he tried bringing the remaining sand to catch Sasuke, but the moment it got closer, the lightning struck.

The lightning arcs destroyed the sand before it got even closer, giving Sasuke even more time to make his move.

”Is that why you have been training his Taijutsu, Kakashi?” Guy looked absolutely stunned.

”What kind of Jutsu is that?” Lee couldn’t help but ask in confusion.

”It’s the Jutsu that Kakashi invented when he was twelve. Chidori, an assassination-type lightning release Jutsu, capable of piercing anything.”

”It requires the dynamic vision of the Sharingan to work perfectly; otherwise, a person will get tunnel vision while using it.”

”Isn’t this Jutsu too early for him, Kakashi?” Guy asked.

Kakashi rolled his eye and said.

”Among all people, you don’t get to say that to me, Guy. Besides, Sasuke is perfect for this Jutsu, not only with his chakra nature but also Sharingan.”

”Hey, Kakashi-sensei, aren’t you too partial for teaching Sasuke that Jutsu while teaching us nothing?”

Naruto walked into their conversation with Shikamaru and Shino.

”Of all people, you shouldn’t be lacking a Jutsu comparable to Chidori.” Kakashi felt speechless when he heard Naruto’s words.

”I guess you are not wrong.”

Naruto was also speechless. He forgot he was the one who rejected Kakashi’s offer this time around.

Of course, even on the original timeline, Kakashi didn’t teach him Chidori since it didn’t suit him.

[Chidori]

Suddenly, Sasuke’s speed increased to the point where most people couldn’t even track his movement.

In an instant, he appeared in front of Gaara’s sand ball and thrust his arm forward.

He managed to pierce through Gaara’s sand ball and reach his shoulder, drawing blood on his first try.

But when Sasuke tried to pull his hand, Gaara’s sand got closer as his chakra started flaring wildly.

Just when that happened, several feathers started appearing in the arena, pulling most of them into a Genjutsu.

[Release]

Naruto instantly released himself, and the next moment, a powerful Chakra exploded out from him.

Of course, before they sensed his Chakra, they heard a loud explosion near the Kage’s section.

[Shadow Clone Jutsu]

Dozens of shadow clones instantly appeared in the arena. The enemy ninjas were already attacking the ninjas from Konoha.

But before their attacks even landed, Naruto’s shadow clones chased them from behind.

His speed was so fast that all they could see was a flash of yellow light.

’Yellow Flash?’

That thought came to everyone’s mind.

When Orochimaru felt a similar thing, he instantly appeared behind Hiruzen and took him up while keeping his kunai on Hiruzen’s neck.

[Ninja Art- Four Violet Flame Formation]

Four of the sound ninjas immediately reacted by creating a purple barrier around them.

But others weren’t so fast.

[Rasengan]

Before they could even react, their back or the front was shattered by the sheer might of the Rasengan.

Nine traitors, all dead at once!

And, five of the shadow clones appeared outside the arena while one of them released more shadow clones; the four did the opposite.

They surrounded the Arena from four directions and formed a hand sign together.
