”Now, let’s begin the Preliminary. This preliminary will consist of one-on-one fighting. You will basically fight as if in a real-life confrontation.”

”Since we now have exactly 20 entrants, we will conduct 10 matches and the winner will advance to the Third Test.”

”There are basically no rules. The fight continues until one of you dies or is knocked out, or admits your defeat.”

”If you don’t want to die, then quickly acknowledge your defeat. But when I decide that the winner has clearly been established since we don’t want to add more casualties, I will jump in.”

”And the object that controls your destiny is....”

As he said, Anko chimed in.

”Open it!”

Soon, a large screen emerged on the side of the room.

”This Electric Board will show the match-ups for each battle. Now, this is sudden, but let’s announce two names of the first fight.”

As Hayate said that, two names immediately appeared on the screen.

[Uchiha Sasuke Vs Akado Yoroi]

Sasuke couldn’t help but get excited. Since his Curse Seal was no longer a proper after a night of rest and Seal, he just wanted to defeat his opponent.

”Now, two participants, come forward!”

As Hayate said that, Sasuke and Yoroi walked in front of each other. Yoroi wore a mask covering his face and sunglasses.

”Are you two ready?”

Hayate asked.

”Yes!” ”Yeah!”

As both of them replied, Hayate retreated from the podium while Sasuke immediately jumped backward.

[Fire Style- Great Fireball Jutsu]

He weaved several hand signs and took in a lot of air before expelling a large amount of fire that slowly transformed into a fireball.

The fireball was nearly five meters in radius as it moved towards Yoroi.

The sheer size of the fireball stunned Yoroi, but he quickly used Body Flicker Jutsu and jumped out of the way.

Boom!

The fireball landed on the ground and exploded with so much force that it caused a lot of destruction.

At this moment, Sasuke immediately dashed forward. His speed, while not at Lee’s level, was still fast enough.

He took out several of his shuriken and threw them at Yoroi, forcing him to dodge those shurikens while he was barely able to land on the ground.

Seeing those shurikens, he took out his Kunai and started deflecting them one by one while Sasuke closed the gap.

He quickly spun himself while getting on the ground with both of his palms and his right leg kicking Yoroi on the chin.

As Yoroi got smacked into the air, Sasuke appeared right behind him and placed his finger on Yoroi’s ribs, forcefully spinning his body in mid-air.

Before he could react, Sasuke kicked him in the stomach and slammed his body to the ground.

[Lion Combo]

Bang!

As Yoroi fell to the ground, Sasuke landed next to him, unbothered and confident.

”I’m stopping this fight here, and thus, the winner of the first match is Uchiha Sasuke!”

Hayate appeared next to Yoroi, checked his breathing, and announced the result.

Seeing this, Orochimaru narrowed his eyes.

’This wasn’t within my expectations. I need to find Kabuto and ask him why Sasuke arrived so early.’

’My Curse Seal isn’t affecting him. That must be the work of Kakashi. It’s just a pity that Yoroi didn’t get to use his ability.’

In just a few seconds, Orochimaru had already figured out that Sasuke’s Curse Seal was blocked by another Sealing Jutsu.

This was troublesome for Orochimaru as he wanted to see the results of his work on Sasuke.

’But I don’t need to worry about that.’

On the other hand, several people had different reactions to this battle.

’So this is Uchiha’s Sharingan. He was able to copy my technique with such ease and use it perfectly.’

Lee thought to himself while Guy sighed for his students.

After all, Lee worked hard to learn that Jutsu, while Sasuke easily copied it and did it almost exactly as Lee did.

As the medical team appeared and took away Yoroi, Sasuke returned to the side where Sakura and Naruto were standing.

”Don’t lose here, Loser!”

Sasuke smirked as he said that.

”Damn you, bastard! I will not lose. I will give you the most wonderful performance.”

Naruto spread out his arms as he announced that.

With those memories of his, he was basically sure that he could win this battle with ease.

At least, he didn’t seem worried about anything at all.

But he was wondering if everything would go the way it did in his memories.

”We will now start the next match!”

[Zaku Abumi Versus Aburame Shino]

As he announced, two participants walked onto the podium and started their battle.

Unlike in the original, Naruto had talked about Sakura’s injuries before they went to sleep last night.

So, he knew this team, or rather this person, was the one who attacked Sakura.

Although his love was shifting towards Hinata, Sakura was still his previous love interest.

And as those memories of him and Shino came to his mind, he couldn’t help but feel angry.

This guy talked a lot of trash about, but he was just a pawn of Orochimaru who hurt Sakura.

Suddenly, Naruto raised his hand and shouted.

”Hey, Shino!”

This surprised Shino and the others, but Naruto continued.

”That guy caused a lot of trouble for Sakura.”

He looked at Shino and grinned.

”Finish this battle quickly, will you?”

His words caused a lot of discussion on his side, especially with Kiba.

”How did Naruto know about Shino’s strength?”

At this moment, Shino slowly raised his hand, and a large wave of bugs started moving towards Zaku.

”Although this is a Chunin Exam, Sakura is also my classmate.”

”Bugs?”

Zaku looked at the bugs and shouted.

”Are you kidding me? Will I be defeated by bugs?”

”Don’t be kid with me!”

Zaku angrily opened his broken arm, trying to release an attack when both of his hands exploded.

”Next time, don’t put such a big hole in your palm, especially a plastic hole!”
