Chapter 397: MSOC: Chapter 397

The sudden posture, made everyone in the field, including the expressions of several Kage-level powerhouses change drastically.

The Third Hokage felt the chakra hand blade on his neck, and his face was gloomy to the extreme.

If it wasn’t for being in full view of everyone, he would have slapped this unworthy son directly to the ground with one palm.

Suppressing the anger in his heart, the Third Hokage gritted his teeth and said word by word: ”Asuma Sarutobi, do you know what you’re doing?”

”With just this one action, I can define you as a rogue ninja, if you don’t give me a reasonable answer today, I’ll publicly cripple you!”

The awe-inspiring words, had a taste of decisiveness at the end.

A chilling taste, had not started the war with Uchiha Kai yet, but it had already permeated in the five major ninja village alliance.

For a time, all eyes were fixed on the suddenly violent Asuma Sarutobi.

A trace of apology also appeared on Minato Namikaze’s face, if he had known that things would evolve to this extent.

He wouldn’t have used the Flying Thunder God technique to bring Asuma Sarutobi over.

Once something happened, no matter what the conclusion was, he couldn’t escape the relationship.

”Father, for the Hidden Leaf Village, I have to do this, otherwise you won’t listen to what I have to say,” a trace of apology flashed across Asuma Sarutobi’s face.

The chakra blade that he was holding in his right hand, did not move away, and his left hand flipped at his waist, and took out a scroll.

”Father, this is a resolution jointly issued by the three Daimyo, to hand over the Nine-Tails to Uchiha Kai, and withdraw from the five major ninja village alliance war, if you insist on your own way, then the efforts of the past Hokage will be destroyed!” Asuma Sarutobi said urgently.

The not-so-loud voice, at this moment, swept through the entire field like a hurricane.

Looking at the scroll unfolded in Asuma Sarutobi’s hand, after the incantation on it was unlocked, it revealed three marks unique to the three Daimyo of the Land of Fire, representing their identities.

And the content written on it, was exactly the same as what Asuma Sarutobi had said.

The sudden scene, made everyone’s expressions freeze.

Some even couldn’t help but swallow a mouthful of saliva.

The relationship between the five major ninja villages and the five major countries, seemed to be dependent.

However, if they really investigated, the major ninja villages, apart from the inheritance of the Kage-level powerhouses, needing to be approved by the Daimyo.

At other times, the Kage possessed the right to make decisions and self-govern on anything in the village.

Moreover, under this wartime situation, this right to self-govern, could be implemented at any time without going through the Daimyo, to deal with any disasters that threatened the country and the ninja village.

It could be said that, in the face of war games, the five Kage were the spokespersons.

However, now the three Daimyo of the Land of Fire, had suddenly jointly issued an order, to let the Hidden Leaf Village hand over the Nine-Tails, and withdraw from the war against Uchiha Kai.

This undoubtedly exceeded everyone’s expectations.

”Asuma Sarutobi, do you know what nonsense you’re talking about?” The Third Hokage’s face sank, and he roared angrily.

His right hand suddenly reached upwards, and with a speed that didn’t allow them to cover their ears, he snatched the chakra gauntlet knife in Asuma Sarutobi’s hand.

The next moment, with undiminished momentum, he cut towards the Daimyo’s edict in Asuma Sarutobi’s hand.

The sudden scene, shook everyone’s nerves again.

This was the Daimyo’s edict, not to mention its authenticity.

But, if this matter was spread to the Daimyo’s ears, it would damage the Land of Fire Daimyo’s trust in the Hidden Leaf Village.

Dang!

A black cold light, like a training, shot over without warning.

Taking the lead, it collided with the chakra gauntlet knife in the Third Hokage’s hand.

As sparks splashed, the huge impact, made the gauntlet knife fly out of his hand, and finally slant into the ground not far away.

As for the kunai that had shot over first, it tore through the scroll in Asuma Sarutobi’s hand, and directly stuck in the ground behind him.

Looking at this sudden scene, not to mention the Third Hokage and others, even Asuma Sarutobi couldn’t help but be stunned in place.

After all, the one who had taken action just now, was Uchiha Kai, who had stirred up the war.

”Lord Kai, what are you doing, this is the Daimyo’s edict, don’t you want the Nine-Tails?” Asuma Sarutobi took the lead in being unable to hold back, and asked urgently.

The people in the field, also locked their gazes on Kai, at this moment, everyone’s thoughts, were the same as Asuma Sarutobi.

As long as they weren’t fools, they would know that this edict was beneficial to Uchiha Kai.

To win without fighting, and be able to obtain the Hidden Leaf Village’s Nine-Tails, who wouldn’t want that?

”Hehe, don’t participate in this kind of meddlesome matter,” Kai said with a dry laugh: ”That Uhi is also being nosy, I said that the things I like, are all snatched by force.”

”Third Hokage, don’t be stunned either, the general has the right to refuse to obey the orders of the sovereign, I want to see your determination in this battle, and your trump cards.”

As the words fell, Kai’s gaze turned abruptly, and locked on the Third Hokage.

Facing this blatant provocation, the people present’s expressions changed suddenly, before they could think too much, the Third Hokage’s awe-inspiring words, came to their ears.

”Alright, alright, the general has the right to refuse to obey the orders of the sovereign!” The Third Hokage said ”alright” twice, and clenched his right hand suddenly, and said sharply.

”I’ve met countless people in my life, I didn’t expect to overlook you, the power that you possess, is indeed not something that ordinary people can compare to.”

Speaking of this, the Third Hokage looked around the field, and continued to say sharply: ”This time, we five major ninja villages are gathered here, we’ve already embraced the heart of fighting to the death.”

”I don’t know how you killed the ten thousand White Zetsu, but since you came out of our Hidden Leaf Village, I, as the Third Hokage, have an irrefutable responsibility.”

”Although this ninjutsu, is a technique that was sealed by the teacher, but in order to deal with you, the only thing I can do, is to bear the name of a sinner, and use the name of the past Kage, to judge your crimes.”

The slightly long words, rolled and echoed in the world like thunder.

Jiraiya, who was beside him, sighed with a complicated expression as he heard this, and stepped out from the crowd.

With a backhand, he drew out the huge scroll behind him, and spread it directly on the ground.

Three mysterious incantations, first entered everyone’s eyes.

The words written on the center where the incantations converged, shook everyone’s nerves even more.

”Human Sacrifice?”

”This is a forbidden technique!”

”The Third Hokage actually needs to unleash the forbidden technique of living human sacrifice?”

The field suddenly became noisy.

In their eyes, if Uchiha Kai was the evil incarnation who had stirred up the war, then the Third Hokage was the righteous incarnation who presided over this battle, and fought against Uchiha Kai.

However, now the Third Hokage had taken out a scroll of living human sacrifice.

What he was about to unleash was still a forbidden technique.

Then for anyone, the gap was a bit too big.

Looking at this familiar incantation, Kai touched his nose helplessly, and couldn’t help but say: ”I said, this wouldn’t be your trump card, right?”
