Chapter 367: MSOC: Chapter 367

Before the massive sealing gate,

the two monks’ expressions were livid, and the harsh words they had spoken earlier echoed in the heavens and earth for a long time without dissipating.

They clearly knew that the aura emanating from the person in front of them had already made them, completely not on the same level.

However, their real purpose was not to fight the person in front of them, but to delay time.

”They’re here!” The two monks’ faces showed joy.

Twenty or thirty figures, swept back from the forest outside.

The one leading them was a man who was close to twenty years old, with distinct facial features.

A pair of eyes, as bright as the bright moon.

But what made people feel the most attention, was the fire belt worn around his waist.

If it was the people of the Land of Fire, or even the ninja world.

When they saw this belt, the identity of the man in front of them would be obvious.

This was the elite ninja that the Daimyo of the Land of Fire had personally selected within the Land of Fire, for his own safety.

The ninja squad formed by this was known as the Guardian Shinobi Twelve.

The young monk in front of them was one of them.

”Chiriku, you’re finally back, this person broke into our Fire Temple in the middle of the night, and just now, he put down harsh words, saying that he would smash our sealing gate, and go in to find you,” one of the monks couldn’t hold back and spoke first.

In their eyes, Chiriku was the top genius who practiced the Sage Body talent.

Only he possessed the qualifications to inherit the honor of the Fire Temple.

It was also because of this reason that not long ago, he was sent by the Fire Temple to participate in the selection of the Guardian Shinobi Twelve, and successfully passed the test and entered the Daimyo’s eyes.

Because of this incident, the status of the Fire Temple rose sharply.

It gained the favor of the Daimyo, and allocated more construction funds, allowing the Fire Temple to grow.

It could be said that the reason why Chiriku went to participate in the Guardian Shinobi Twelve, was mainly because the temple was too poor.

In this era of war and chaos.

There were fewer people who worshiped gods and prayed, and there was less incense money.

Going to accept missions, was also a lot of war matters.

For a monk to run to the battlefield to get involved, if it was said to save all living beings, it would probably become a joke.

In the end, with no way out, the Daimyo had also been assassinated many times, and finally decided to allocate high salaries, to recruit some strong people to protect him closely.

”Black robe, red auspicious clouds, it seems that you are a member of the Akatsuki organization from the Rain Village,” Chiriku landed on the ground, and with a backhand gesture, signaled to disperse the formation.

However, the only thing that made him raise his eyebrows slightly, was that he couldn’t see clearly who was under that cloak hat.

”You can think that way,” Kai responded with a smile.

In the original work, Chiriku was a person with a stable personality, but also a bit self-righteous, and self-important.

It could be said that if it wasn’t for him insisting on letting the monks of the Fire Temple fight with Hidan and Kakuzu.

And choosing to evacuate secretly, it probably wouldn’t have been necessary for the entire Fire Temple to be slaughtered.

It could be said that Chiriku was the main reason why the Fire Temple was wiped out.

However, this couldn’t be entirely blamed on him.

The Guardian Shinobi Twelve, also had some reputation in the Land of Fire.

Asuma Sarutobi in the original work, also received a lunch box for this reason.

Right now, Kai didn’t come specifically to cause trouble, but just to ask some things.

He just hoped that Chiriku would be smart, otherwise he wouldn’t mind taking action.

”You are a member of the Akatsuki organization?” Chiriku’s voice suddenly sank.

A trace of sharpness appeared in his gaze towards Kai.

”That’s just right, I heard that not long ago, Hanzo of the Salamander and the two leaders of the Akatsuki organization made a big fuss at the Five Kage Summit convened by the Hidden Leaf Village.”

”Your Akatsuki organization has been listed in the ranks of bounties, although my Buddha is compassionate, but in this time of war, our Fire Temple can only save all living beings, I hope that the benefactor will lay down the butcher knife and become a Buddha on the spot!” Chiriku said in a deep voice.

As these words fell, the gazes of the twenty or thirty people in the field, all locked on Kai.

Their eyes were shining.

No!

It should be said, it was a golden light.

This was the light that came from hunger.

Kai was speechless in an instant, and touched his nose and said, ”Are you guys crazy about the bounty?”

”I just want to ask something!”

”Something?” Chiriku snorted coldly, ”I felt the evil aura emanating from the direction of the Hidden Leaf Village on you just now.”

”I suspect that the Nine-Tails’ rampage in the Hidden Leaf Village is related to you, if you have anything to ask, then I’ll catch you first!”

”Also, I really want to know, which member of the Akatsuki organization you are, how dare you break into the Fire Temple alone, and even claim to smash our sealing gate, how arrogant is that.”

”Yes, Chiriku is right, let’s catch this person first, and hand him over to the Daimyo and the Hidden Leaf Village...”

The shouts in unison, made the atmosphere in the field change suddenly.

Kai sighed helplessly, slightly raised his head to look at Chiriku and said, ”It seems that no matter what kind of person, being poor and white makes them act recklessly, even monks are no exception.”

”Since you said to catch me first, then I can only, beat you up first, and then have a pleasant conversation!”

”Bastard, how dare you be so presumptuous in front of the temple’s holy land, today I will see, which number you are in the Akatsuki organization,” Chiriku shouted angrily.

Right now, he was the face of the Fire Temple, and also the Daimyo’s number one lackey.

Facing the Akatsuki organization, who had declared war on the five great countries.

If he could capture this person, it would be considered a great achievement.

At that time, the position of their Fire Temple would be even higher.

Thinking of this, a trace of urgency flashed across Chiriku’s face, he tightened his belt, and said in a deep voice: ”You guys give me a hand from the side, the aura emanating from this person is very mixed, however, the Sage Body talent can just purify the aura on his body.”

”You just need to chant the law for me, to enhance the power of the Sage Body talent, I will capture him in three moves, lift his cloak, and see who he is!”

The rolling words fell in the field, making the fighting spirit of these monks, push to the top.

This was their main battlefield, and also within the domain of the Fire Temple.

The two Guardians had also received the blessing of the Sage Body talent all year round.

Once it came to a critical moment, they could also use this power to unleash the strongest killing move.

At that moment, even the Hokage would retreat three feet.

It was precisely because of this reason that their Fire Temple could stand tall in the midst of war.

Looking at the people who scattered around, Kai was even more helpless.

This lineup, except for him not having smashed the two Guardians yet, was very similar to the scene in the original work where Chiriku was beaten.

However, one core point had not changed.

Chiriku still didn’t understand what it meant to know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated.

Without finding out the other party’s identity, he put down big words.

That was setting up a death flag for himself.

”Alright, it seems that we can’t talk, you said you would capture me in three moves, then I’m also looking forward to you being able to do it, after all, it’s been a long time since anyone has spoken to me like this in this ninja world,” Kai smiled kindly.

The not-so-loud voice, like a magic sound, echoed in the four corners of the sky.
