”Figures it would be you, Homelander.”

Superman was truly in awe of Alex.

He had personally experienced just how terrifying Doomsday was.

A single casual punch from that monster was already more than Superman could withstand.

Compared to Doomsday, people like General Zod were utterly insignificant.

And yet—

Such a monstrously powerful existence looked like nothing more than a weakling in front of the Homelander.

Casually restrained. Completely dominated.

There was no choice but to be convinced.

In the next moment—

Alex tightened his telekinetic grip, intending to directly crush Doomsday into nothing.

Just like all those other ”villains” before—reduce him straight into minced meat.

Alex knew Doomsday’s nature very well.

This was a monster that couldn’t be killed—every time it died, it revived.

If that was the case—

Why not just crush it into fragments?

Alex refused to believe that Doomsday could survive being reduced to literal paste.

But—

Crack! Crack! Crack!

A spine-chilling sound echoed through the air.

Bones and muscles throughout Doomsday’s body were being crushed and pulverized under the overwhelming pressure.

Already grotesque to begin with, Doomsday turned into a horrifying lump of mangled flesh.

Even Alex found the sight nauseating.

”What an absurdly tough body...”

Alex was genuinely surprised.

With his current level of telekinesis, this was the limit of what he could do.

He still couldn’t completely crush Doomsday into dust!

Then again, it made sense.

A Kryptonian-based body was already outrageously strong—how could it be so easily destroyed?

Doomsday had survived nuclear weapons, after all.

Alex being able to do this much was already impressive.

For any normal life-form, injuries like these would mean instant death.

But Doomsday?

Sorry.

Still very much alive.

Not only alive—he looked even more feral.

”ROAR!”

”ROOOAR!”

That mass of ruined flesh thrashed violently within Alex’s telekinetic barrier, roaring nonstop.

”What kind of monster... is this?!”

Superman felt his scalp go numb just watching.

He had never imagined that a Kryptonian creature could be this horrifying.

As for Alex—

After realizing he couldn’t crush Doomsday outright with telekinesis, he immediately switched tactics.

His telekinesis condensed into an indestructible blade and swept across Doomsday’s neck.

Slice!

With the sound of flesh being cut, Doomsday’s head was cleanly severed.

Boom!

The massive headless body slammed heavily into the ground, completely motionless.

Hah...

Seeing this, Superman finally let out a breath of relief.

That monster... was finally dead!

”Homelander, thank goodness you were here. Otherwise, I’m not sure I could’ve handled this crisis.”

Superman looked at Alex sincerely, deeply moved.

”Don’t celebrate just yet,” Alex replied, eyes locked on the headless corpse.

”This thing might not be dead.”

”Homelander... that’s impossible, right?”

Superman instinctively didn’t believe it.

The head was gone!

No matter how powerful something was, it couldn’t survive without a head... right?

Crack... crack... crack...

A disturbing sound of flesh regenerating and writhing echoed out.

Superman’s face stiffened instantly, disbelief and dread filling his expression as he stared at the corpse.

From the severed neck—

Flesh surged and twisted.

In just the blink of an eye, a brand-new head regenerated.

”ROAR!”

The reborn Doomsday let out a thunderous roar.

Not only had it revived—

It looked even stronger than before.

Gulp.

Superman swallowed hard, his scalp tingling, his mind reeling.

Alex’s warning had been spot on.

That terrifying monster... really hadn’t died.

”ROAR!”

With a furious bellow, Doomsday charged straight at Alex.

This time, Superman was no longer its target—

Alex, the one who had already killed it once, was.

Bang!

Alex casually threw a punch.

Doomsday’s body jolted violently, then shot off like a cannonball—

Launched straight into the sky, disappearing in an instant.

BOOM!

A sonic boom rang out.

Superman saw Alex vanish from beside him—and then reappear just as quickly.

But now, Alex was holding a special weapon—

The kryptonite spear Batman had discarded earlier.

Since Doomsday was just as hard to kill as Alex had expected, there was no reason to stubbornly grind it down.

Batman had already delivered a perfect weapon.

Not using it would be a waste.

”Yes—this thing can definitely kill that monster!”

The presence of kryptonite made Superman instinctively uncomfortable, but he was still filled with excitement.

”Of course.”

Alex nodded, wasting no time, and flew straight into the sky with the kryptonite spear.

Whoosh!

Doomsday could fly as well.

By now, it had already stabilized itself midair and charged directly at Alex.

Twin beams of blazing heat vision blasted toward him.

Alex didn’t dodge.

A telekinetic barrier formed instantly in front of him, blocking all of Doomsday’s heat vision.

He advanced straight through it, unstoppable.

In an instant, he reached Doomsday.

The kryptonite spear thrust forward.

Stab!

It pierced straight into Doomsday’s chest.

”ROOOAR!”

Doomsday’s body convulsed violently as it struggled in agony.

But even while suffering a fatal blow, Doomsday didn’t forget to counterattack.

Its right arm mutated, forming razor-sharp bone claws that stabbed toward Alex.

But—

Alex wasn’t Superman.

That attack might have killed Superman—

But it meant nothing to Alex.

Alex casually waved his hand.

Slice!

Doomsday’s entire right arm was severed by a telekinetic blade.

Then—

Alex drove the kryptonite spear deeper into Doomsday’s body, twisting it mercilessly.

”ROOOAR—!”

With a final, dying roar, Doomsday unleashed one last burst of power—

And then went completely still.

No breath.

No movement.

Alex pulled the kryptonite spear free, drifting lightly back down to the ground.

Boom!

Doomsday’s corpse fell from the sky, crashing heavily onto the earth.

Superman immediately rushed over, carefully circling the body, inspecting it from every angle.

He didn’t dare relax too soon.

Who knew if this monster might revive again?

”This time,” Alex said casually, stowing the kryptonite spear into his magic storage,

”it really should be dead.”
