Immortal-Exterminating Divine Venerable

”Yang Xiao, let’s see you get out of this one!”

Ye Wanyu sneered.

In a flash, she disappeared.

Then, she appeared at the Fire Cloud Mountain Mine, in the area closest to Ye Wanqing’s residence.

She intentionally released her aura.

’Hm? Wanyu is back again?’

Ye Wanqing, who was at a celebratory feast accompanying Yang Xiao and a few members of the Lu Family, suddenly sensed something. She carefully released her Spiritual Power.

She instantly located Ye Wanyu.

And she was alone.

Her heart stirred.

She stood up.

”Yang Xiao, esteemed uncles of the Lu Family, Brother Lu, I have something to attend to. Please excuse me,” Ye Wanqing said.

”Something came up? Well, that’s fine. It’s a bit awkward having a young lady like you keep a bunch of us old men company anyway. Go on.”

Lu Fangliang’s uncle, Lu Yixuan, said after a moment’s thought.

Yang Xiao glanced at her in surprise, but he was already starting to feel intoxicated—a state that was entirely his own doing.

Normally, even with his cultivation sealed, he shouldn’t have been able to get drunk. After consuming the Desolate Divine Fruit to deal with Lu Qianfan, his physical body was in a state of temporal stasis.

But the guy had insisted on entertaining the Lu Family, so he’d taken out a special Pill and mixed it into the wine—a Pill that could intoxicate one’s Heart Spirit.

Paired with wine, it created a truly exquisite brew.

It intoxicated the heart, mind, and body all at once.

If Yang Xiao still had his cultivation, he could have resisted it. But with his cultivation sealed, he was becoming quite intoxicated. Thus, even though he felt something was off about Ye Wanqing’s expression, he couldn’t spare it much thought.

He just watched her leave.

As for the members of the Lu Family, they were guests, after all.

And since Ye Wanqing seemed to be close with Yang Xiao, they naturally wouldn’t probe her whereabouts.

Soon, Ye Wanqing met her younger sister, Ye Wanyu, just outside the Fire Cloud Mine.

”Why did you come looking for me?”

Seeing her younger sister made Ye Wanqing’s heart leap with joy, but when she remembered what Wanyu had done, her expression involuntarily grew cold.

Seeing her sister’s cold expression, the hatred in Ye Wanyu’s heart intensified.

But on her face, she wore a look of guilt.

”Sis, I was wrong. It was all me, I was being too stubborn. I understand now. Can you please talk to Yang Xiao for me? Ask him not to kill me... please?”

As Ye Wanyu spoke, tears began to stream down her face, her eyes filled with a desperate plea.

Seeing this, Ye Wanqing’s heart instantly softened.

”Do you really see your mistake now?”

Although her tone was still harsh, her heart had already softened.

”Yes, Sis, I really do.”

With that, Ye Wanyu walked towards Ye Wanqing.

As her sister approached, Ye Wanqing felt a flicker of unease, but then she thought, ’She’s my own sister. No matter how stubborn she gets, she’d never hurt me, right?’

She let her guard down.

She let her approach.

Seeing this, Ye Wanyu smiled inwardly. Her face, however, maintained a pitiful and helpless expression as she threw herself into her sister’s arms.

Holding her sister, Ye Wanqing’s heart melted completely. She stroked her hair and said softly, ”It’s good that you’ve come to understand. That’s better than anything. You saw it before, didn’t you? Even without his cultivation, Yang Xiao still has plenty of ways to subdue the people you brought with you. You...”

As she was speaking, Ye Wanqing suddenly felt a slight pain in her back, like a needle prick, and then her entire body went numb.

Her body stiffened.

”You...”

”Sis, just get some rest for a little while. I’ll go see Yang Xiao for you. Don’t worry, Lu Qianfan couldn’t kill him, and neither can I. But... there are some things that can be taken back.”

Ye Wanyu smiled.

By now, Ye Wanqing couldn’t even speak.

Her body went limp.

And she fell to the ground.

Seeing her sister so easily subdued, the smile on Ye Wanyu’s face disappeared.

”It’s all your fault, Yang Xiao! If it weren’t for you, I’d never do something so despicable to my own sister. It’s all your fault, Yang Xiao! This time, I’ll make you pay!”

Ye Wanyu sneered.

First, she picked up her sister, Ye Wanqing. In a flash, she entered a deserted room, changed into an identical set of clothes, and walked back out.

With a sweep of her Spiritual Power, she located Yang Xiao.

However, she also discovered that several of the people with Yang Xiao were incredibly powerful.

’Looks like this Yang Xiao has found more backers. Damn it! How is he always so lucky?’

The hatred in Ye Wanyu’s heart intensified when she sensed that these people were all incredibly strong. Three of them had auras that, while not quite reaching the level of a Demigod Peak expert like Lu Dingyuan, weren’t far off.

But then, at the thought of how she would soon be able to toy with him as she pleased, Ye Wanyu smiled.

Soon, she arrived where Yang Xiao and the others were.

By this point, Yang Xiao was nearly drunk to the point of unconsciousness.

The few old drunks from the Lu Family, on the other hand, were perfectly fine.

Including Lu Fangliang, all of them were staring at the wine with looks of utter fascination.

They were so engrossed that when Ye Wanyu walked in, they merely glanced over and assumed it was Ye Wanqing returning.

”Is everything taken care of?”

The Lu Family elder, Lu Fangliang’s uncle Lu Yixuan, asked.

Ye Wanyu nodded, but did not speak.

She just stared at Yang Xiao.

”The lad is dead drunk; he can’t have any more. Wanqing, why don’t you take him back so he can rest?”

Seeing her stare, the Lu Family elder spoke again.

In his eyes, the young lady had probably come to take Yang Xiao away but was too shy to ask.

As an elder, he naturally wouldn’t make things difficult for one of their own.

Although Ye Wanqing’s surname was Ye, they were all blood relatives from the same lineage. The Lu Family elder naturally wouldn’t treat her as a stranger.

Hearing this, Ye Wanyu was secretly overjoyed.

She nodded.

She stepped forward and helped Yang Xiao up.

The moment they touched, the aura of the Emperor Golden Dragon Secret Technique from within Yang Xiao’s body instantly flowed into her.

It made Ye Wanyu’s heart tremble.

Her entire body went weak.

She almost dropped Yang Xiao on the ground.

Her face instantly flushed red.

”What’s the matter? Still feeling shy? Haha, we’re all your elders here. We’ve seen what’s going on between you and Young Master Yang Xiao for a while now. No need to be embarrassed. Go on, take him to his room.”

Lu Yixuan laughed heartily.

Ye Wanyu’s face instantly became even redder.

But half of that blush was from pure anger. Lu Yixuan’s words made her assume her sister and Yang Xiao had already gone all the way.

She felt an inexplicable surge of anger in her heart.

Then, forcing herself to endure the unsettling aura emanating from Yang Xiao, she supported his weight.

Step by step, she struggled towards Yang Xiao’s room.

Gritting her teeth, she thought, ’Hmph! Just wait until I get you to your room. Then we’ll see how I deal with you!’
