I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

Whoosh!

Vergo rapidly stomped the ground dozens of times, his figure flashing as he sped toward the exit of the base.

As the commander of a New World Marine base, Vergo naturally possessed considerable strength. He had mastered the Six Powers to perfection. His speed was so great that the G-5 Marines could only see his afterimages and were unable to follow his true body.

”You hit my subordinate and still think you can run?” Nagasawa smiled as he drew Ryujin Jakka and casually swung it once toward Vergo.

As Vergo fled desperately, he sensed an overwhelming feeling of danger.

But he didn’t dare look back and continued moving at full speed.

However, how could his speed possibly surpass Nagasawa’s slash?

The instant after Nagasawa swung his sword, Vergo had already been cut cleanly in half at the waist. Blood gushed out like a fountain, dyeing the surroundings crimson.

The soldiers of G-5 stared blankly at the scene, unsure whether they were more shocked that the commander they respected had been a spy or by Nagasawa’s terrifying strength.

”Admiral Nagasawa, why did you kill him immediately? We could have obtained more evidence against Doflamingo from him,” Tina said.

”It doesn’t matter. The evidence here is already enough to revoke his Seven Warlords status and arrest him.” Nagasawa smiled. ”Besides, wasn’t I getting revenge for you? He was just threatening to kill you.”

”So what should we do next?” Tina asked.

”Notify Headquarters and report everything that happened here. Then quietly wait for Doflamingo to arrive,” Nagasawa replied.

”Doflamingo will come?” Tina asked in confusion.

”He will.” Nagasawa answered with a smile.

Caesar had called for help. Given Caesar’s importance, Doflamingo wouldn’t simply ignore it.

Moreover, Nagasawa had deliberately fed Vergo some false intelligence through Tina, and Vergo would certainly pass it on to Doflamingo.

Even if Doflamingo only sent some officers instead of coming personally, it wouldn’t affect Nagasawa’s plan.

Before heading to Punk Hazard, Nagasawa had already arranged everything.

He had sent one of his Shadow Clones to Dressrosa to personally lead the operation. Once the timing was right, they would liberate the country.

Seeing that Nagasawa offered no further explanation and started speaking in riddles again, Tina could only suppress her curiosity and contact Marine Headquarters as ordered.

Nagasawa then turned his attention to the Marines of G-5.

His imposing gaze made them feel uneasy. They almost thought Nagasawa was about to execute them as traitors as well.

”Although I don’t know what kind of person Vergo pretended to be on a daily basis, since he became the base commander, I assume he had many accomplishments and was well respected,” Nagasawa said.

”T-That’s right. Commander Vergo was a Marine who cared about his subordinates and showed no mercy to pirates. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I never would have believed he was a spy,” one G-5 Marine said with his head lowered in despair.

”Why did you become Marines? Who is your justice for?” Nagasawa asked again.

The Marines looked at one another, and silence filled the air.

”I once heard that G-5 was an unconventional Marine base. They hated evil and would even disobey Headquarters’ orders to eliminate pirates. A truly unique force of justice.

”But now it seems that’s all it was.

”Do you kill pirates simply because it’s your hobby? Is your justice Vergo’s justice?” Nagasawa asked mockingly.

”Of course... of course not!” one Marine finally shouted.

”We kill pirates because they commit evil! My own father was killed by pirates! Our justice is to protect the people!”

Inspired by his words, the other Marines also began voicing their own beliefs in justice.

”Then what are you still standing around for? A group of children has been kidnapped and used as experimental subjects here. Why aren’t you taking them for treatment immediately?” Nagasawa said.

”Yes, White Horse Admiral!”

The G-5 Marines looked at Nagasawa with respect before carrying out his orders, escorting the children onto the warships and preparing to take them for medical treatment.

Nagasawa stood outside quietly, watching the warships sail away as the G-5 Marines escorted the children toward treatment.

”I thought you wouldn’t bother with them. Given your position, weakening the Marines should be something you’d be happy to see,” Aokiji’s voice came from behind him.

Nagasawa smiled.

”If that’s what you think, then you’ve underestimated me.”

”Are the Marines necessarily the enemy? I don’t think so. On the contrary, I believe the Marines can become one of the Revolutionary Army’s greatest allies.”

”Although there are Marines who treat the World Government as justice, there are also Marines like you who regard the people as justice. The Revolutionary Army welcomes talented people like that.”

”Developing the Revolutionary Army within the Marines... that’s quite a bold idea.” Aokiji finally understood Nagasawa’s plan.

Nagasawa smiled.

Once the Revolutionary Army’s propaganda reached the proper stage, he could begin implementing his plans within the Marines as well.

Nagasawa believed that anyone who truly cared about the people and genuinely wished to change this terrible world would eventually join the Revolutionary Army.

What the Revolutionary Army needed to do was let people understand what revolution truly meant and give them hope that success was possible.

While Nagasawa was explaining revolutionary theory to Aokiji inside the base, a figure dressed in pink descended from the sky, landed on the frozen ground, and arrived at Punk Hazard.

”What exactly happened here? That idiot Caesar had better not be dead.”

The moment Doflamingo landed, he rushed toward the research facility.

Caesar was far too important to him.

He had no desire to bear Kaido’s wrath.

However, shortly after entering the Marine base, Doflamingo spotted Nagasawa and Aokiji standing there.

He immediately stopped.

Running into two Admirals at once gave him the feeling that he had walked straight into a trap.

Very few people could remain calm in front of two Admirals, especially when they had come to rescue someone.

Without the slightest hesitation, Doflamingo turned around to leave.

With two Admirals present, whether Caesar was alive or dead, he had no chance of taking him away.

”Doflamingo, since you’ve already come, there’s no need to leave in such a hurry.”

Nagasawa silently appeared beside Doflamingo and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Doflamingo instantly felt as though an enormous mountain had been pressing down upon him, making him unable to move an inch.

”Fufufufu... As expected of the monster recruited through the World Military Draft.”

Despite being restrained by Nagasawa, Doflamingo showed no fear.

Instead, he laughed.

Turning toward Nagasawa while maintaining his arrogant grin, he asked,

”So, Fujiwara Nagasawa, why are you stopping me? After all, we’re supposed to be allies.”

Doflamingo possessed many identities.

Those identities formed the basis of his arrogance.

A former Celestial Dragon.

One of the Seven Warlords.

And the king of a World Government member nation.

”Allies? Sorry, not anymore. Doflamingo, you’ve colluded with Emperor Kaido. Your status as one of the Seven Warlords has already been revoked,” Nagasawa replied with a smile.

Doflamingo’s heart sank.

Yet he didn’t panic.

That arrogant smile remained on his face.

”So what? You’re going to arrest me? Do you have the authority to arrest the king of a member nation?”

”A pirate has no qualification to be the king of a member nation,” Nagasawa replied.

Suddenly, Doflamingo formed his left hand into a claw.

Five transparent strings appeared on his fingers.

With a swift wave of his arm, the five razor-sharp strings shot toward Nagasawa.

Using his hand like a blade, Nagasawa casually slashed once.

The incoming strings were instantly severed.

However, Doflamingo used the brief opening created by Nagasawa’s movement to rapidly retreat, putting considerable distance between them.

”Doflamingo, resisting arrest only adds another crime,” Nagasawa said with a smile.

At last, Doflamingo’s arrogant grin disappeared.

He stared coldly at Nagasawa.

”Fujiwara Nagasawa, do you even understand the consequences of what you’re doing?” Doflamingo asked in a low voice.

Arresting him wasn’t a simple matter.

Did the World Government really know nothing about him?

Of course they did.

They had simply chosen to ignore it.

Besides Doflamingo’s own influence, too many forces were tied to him.

The Four Emperors.

The New World’s underground underworld.

And even the Celestial Dragons.

”Of course I do,” Nagasawa replied with a smile.

”I’ll be eliminating an utterly heinous pirate.”

Realizing Nagasawa had absolutely no intention of letting him go today, Doflamingo stopped wasting words.

Facing a monster like Nagasawa, he held nothing back and immediately activated his Devil Fruit Awakening.

Under the awakened power of the String-String Fruit, everything around Doflamingo transformed into transparent strings.

On both sides of Nagasawa, tens of thousands of white strings surged like gigantic waves, rising and falling as they closed in on him.

Doflamingo didn’t attack Aokiji.

From beginning to end, Aokiji hadn’t said a single word.

Combined with the fact that he had already left the Marines, Doflamingo felt it was best to avoid fighting one Admiral if possible.

Facing the tsunami-like waves of strings, Nagasawa drew Ryujin Jakka.

”Reduce All Creation to Ashes, Ryujin Jakka!”

Violent crimson flames erupted from Ryujin Jakka.

Nagasawa then swung his sword horizontally.

A gigantic flaming tornado burst forth, instantly incinerating every white string approaching him.

Watching from the sidelines, Aokiji revealed a thoughtful expression.

Nagasawa’s flames reminded him of Whitebeard during the Paramount War.

Although there were obvious differences, both possessed equally terrifying destructive power.

Nagasawa swung again.

A crescent-shaped slash of flame shot rapidly toward Doflamingo.

Doflamingo raised his hand.

Countless white strings instantly surged from the ground, forming an enormous shield before him.

Afraid it wouldn’t be enough, he further reinforced the shield with Armament Haki.

Unfortunately...

The gap between them was simply too great.

Even strengthened by Armament Haki, the shield failed to stop Nagasawa’s slash.

The attack carved a massive wound across Doflamingo’s arm.

”As expected... you’re truly a monster.”

Doflamingo knew he couldn’t continue like this.

He had to seize the initiative.

Only then might he obtain the slightest chance of victory.

Nagasawa didn’t press his advantage.

Doflamingo knew exactly why.

It was because Nagasawa didn’t consider him a threat.

He believed defeating him required no real effort.

That was precisely the opportunity Doflamingo had been waiting for.

He had to severely injure Nagasawa before Nagasawa became serious.

Ignoring the intense pain in his arm, Doflamingo unleashed his Devil Fruit power once more.

Thousands of strings spread outward in the shape of flamingo wings, enveloping Nagasawa.

Every strand was coated in Armament Haki.

The instant he completed that attack, Doflamingo immediately unleashed his ultimate technique—

Sixteen Holy Assassin’s Bullets: God Thread.

Before his first attack had even reached Nagasawa, sixteen colossal pillars of densely Haki-coated white strings erupted from the ground, piercing toward Nagasawa at astonishing speed.

After unleashing everything, Doflamingo breathed heavily.

Even for him, such an explosive combination wasn’t easy.

But something both shocking and despairing happened.

The flames of Ryujin Jakka completely withdrew into the blade.

Nagasawa swung his sword once more.

Just one swing.

Every incoming string was burned to nothing.

The overwhelming heat instantly melted the frozen surface of Punk Hazard.

The island of fire and ice seemed destined to become an island of nothing but fire.

”Damn it... the difference is actually this huge.”

Doflamingo clenched his fists.

He had never imagined the gap between himself and an Admiral would be so overwhelming.

The chain of ultimate attacks that had exhausted him was effortlessly erased by what amounted to one ordinary slash from Nagasawa.

What Doflamingo didn’t notice was that Aokiji was equally astonished.

At the instant Nagasawa swung his blade, Aokiji felt the surrounding temperature soar dramatically.

Even the prosthetic limb he had created with his Devil Fruit instantly melted away.

When he tried to recreate it, he found that even his Devil Fruit powers had been significantly weakened by the extreme heat.

Aokiji was genuinely shocked.

Even Akainu couldn’t accomplish something like this.

Nagasawa’s flames suppressed him even more thoroughly than Akainu’s.

No...

They even suppressed Akainu.

Because Nagasawa’s flames could burn away Akainu’s magma...

...while Akainu’s magma couldn’t do anything to Nagasawa’s flames.

In Aokiji’s mind, the Revolutionary Army’s chances of success suddenly increased considerably.

Although Aokiji didn’t believe the strong were inherently superior to ordinary people...

...strength was undeniably essential if a revolution was to succeed.

...

On Dressrosa, after receiving news from the original body, Shadow Clone Nagasawa smiled at the Revolutionary Army members.

”Comrades, it’s time to liberate this country!”

Thus, Nagasawa and Sabo launched the operation they had prepared long ago.

They restored all those who had been transformed into toys.

They exposed Doflamingo’s lies and countless crimes.

They brought all the darkness hidden within the island into the light.

Thanks to Nagasawa’s meticulous preparations and swift actions, the entire country was liberated before long.

Using a Broadcast Den Den Mushi, Nagasawa transmitted everything across the world.

The broadcast concluded with Nagasawa delivering a speech promoting the ideals of the Revolutionary Army.

The downfall of one of the Seven Warlords, Doflamingo.

The deep darkness hidden within Dressrosa.

The Revolutionary Army’s live liberation broadcast.

And finally, Nagasawa’s speech.

Once again, the entire world was thrown into turmoil.
