I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”Since you doubt what I’m saying, then why not come and see it with your own eyes? Experience it yourself.” Nagasawa smiled calmly in response to Aokiji’s sharp question.

”Or did the justice in your heart disappear together with that Justice coat after you left the Marines?”

”Of course not.” Aokiji replied in a deep voice.

”Whether I’m in the Marines or not, I’m still me. Rather, after leaving the Marines, my justice has become even purer, and I’ve done things I never did before.”

”In that case, why are you unwilling to join the Revolutionary Army? Because they’re wanted by the World Government? Because they’re criminals?” Nagasawa’s barrage of questions left Aokiji silent.

”You don’t have to join the Revolutionary Army immediately. Just follow me for a while and see whether the Revolutionary Army can truly carry out the justice in your heart.” Nagasawa smiled.

Aokiji was persuaded by Nagasawa.

In the end, he decided to follow Nagasawa for a while.

Although he was no longer as lost as he had been while serving in the Marines, he knew that achieving his own justice alone was impossible.

If the Revolutionary Army was truly as wonderful as Nagasawa claimed, then what was wrong with joining them?

After finishing his conversation with Aokiji, Nagasawa immediately used Medical Ninjutsu to wake Tina.

”Tina is unhappy. White Horse Admiral, I need an explanation.” Tina stared intently at Nagasawa.

Although she hadn’t seen his movements clearly, there were only two people on the small boat—herself and Nagasawa. If it wasn’t Nagasawa who knocked her unconscious, who else could it have been?

Nagasawa rubbed his chin, thought for a moment, and said, ”What if I told you a fish suddenly jumped out of the sea and smacked you? Would you believe that?”

Tina said nothing, but her eyes had already answered him. They practically said, Do you think I’m an idiot?

”So you don’t believe it.” Nagasawa scratched his head with a troubled expression before sighing. ”Then you can hit me once instead. Anyway, I’m not going to tell you the truth now. Even if I did, it’d just be a lie.”

Nagasawa’s shameless attitude left Tina with no way to deal with him. In the end, she simply punched him hard.

Although Nagasawa didn’t feel a thing, he cooperatively pretended it hurt, giving Tina a bit of psychological satisfaction.

Aokiji sat cross-legged atop his penguin Camel, quietly observing Nagasawa.

...

After arriving at Punk Hazard, Nagasawa wasted no time and immediately led Tina and Aokiji onto the island.

Not long after they landed, an enormous red dragon appeared, baring its fangs and claws at them.

Looking at the giant red dragon, Tina said in surprise, ”So dragons really do exist in this world.”

”You could call it a dragon, but it’s not a legendary dragon. It’s just the product of laboratory experiments.” Nagasawa smiled.

He remembered that this dragon’s meat tasted pretty good.

The dragon seemed to sense Nagasawa’s malicious thoughts. Its already fierce expression became even more savage as it spewed a torrent of flames toward them.

However, against such a weak artificial dragon, Nagasawa didn’t even need to make a move. He released his overwhelming Conqueror’s Haki, and the dragon instantly felt as though a mountain had fallen onto its back before crashing heavily to the ground.

”Would either of you like to try dragon meat?” Nagasawa asked with a grin.

Although sweets were still his favorite, dragon meat wasn’t bad either.

”No thanks. Didn’t you say it was created in a laboratory?” Tina shook her head. She had no desire to eat an experimental creation.

”You have a point.” Nagasawa found Tina’s reasoning reasonable, so he kicked the dragon straight into the sea to feed the fish.

The group continued deeper into the island and soon arrived at the research facility.

After defeating several guards in protective suits, they entered a gigantic room resembling a kindergarten, filled with enormous children.

The sudden appearance of strangers startled the children, and some of the timid ones quickly hid.

But Nagasawa was exceptionally good with children. Wearing a warm smile as bright as the sun, he chatted with them and asked how they had ended up there.

As Nagasawa showed them kindness, the children gradually explained everything.

They had all been kidnapped by Caesar through various means. Originally, they had all been ordinary-sized children, but after eating the candy provided there, they gradually grew larger. The longer they stayed, the bigger they became.

”Tina is furious. Experimenting on such adorable children... they’re the worst kind of scum!” Tina, who was usually calm, was visibly enraged.

Aokiji’s face darkened. The anger building within him was enough to freeze the entire island instantly, but he restrained his power as much as possible so he wouldn’t frighten the children.

”Big Brother, can you save us?” asked one child over five meters tall, looking at Nagasawa with hopeful eyes.

At that moment, Nagasawa’s undisguised invasion was finally discovered. A large number of PH soldiers wearing protective suits and gas masks rushed into the enormous room.

Ignoring them completely, Nagasawa smiled and replied, ”Of course. You’re safe now. Do you know why? Because the man standing before you is Fujiwara Nagasawa.”

The moment Nagasawa finished speaking, his overwhelming Conqueror’s Haki erupted, instantly knocking every PH soldier unconscious.

”Tina, I’ll leave these children in your care for now. Aokiji and I will eliminate the armed forces in this facility first,” Nagasawa instructed.

Then he remembered something and added, ”Also, notify the nearby G-5 Base and have them send reinforcements. Don’t mention that Kuzan and I are here. Just say you discovered this place by accident.”

If Nagasawa remembered correctly, the current commander of G-5, Vergo, was Doflamingo’s mole within the Marines.

Since they were already targeting Doflamingo, they might as well remove that spy too.

...

The world of One Piece had surveillance cameras, but because of the special circumstances on the island, Caesar had never bothered paying attention to the monitoring room.

However, once intruders were discovered, the surveillance system finally became useful.

”Let’s see which unlucky bastards have broken into my base.”

But when Caesar clearly saw the people on the monitors, his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

”Aokiji?! Didn’t that guy quit the Marines? Why is he together with two Marines?”

”Wait... why does that male Marine look exactly like White Horse Admiral?”

Only then did Caesar realize there wasn’t just one former Admiral—there was also a current Admiral. His face immediately turned ashen.

Damn it, what unforgivable crime did I commit to deserve two Admirals coming after me?

Although Caesar was arrogant, he wasn’t stupid.

He didn’t believe for a second that he could defeat an Admiral. Forget him—even if Doflamingo brought every elite member of his family here, they’d still be wiped out. The Marines’ greatest military power wasn’t a joke.

If Caesar was terrified, his subordinates were even worse. Their bodies trembled uncontrollably as they asked, ”That’s Admiral Aokiji! What should we do?”

Caesar rolled his eyes.

The island was isolated from the outside world, so his subordinates had no idea another Admiral was present. They only knew about Aokiji.

An idea suddenly came to him.

Putting on a confident expression, Caesar declared, ”What’s there to fear from a mere Admiral? Although Death Land isn’t fully perfected yet, it’s already the deadliest poison gas in the world. Even an Admiral might not withstand it.”

He immediately mobilized every force available within the base to intercept Nagasawa and Aokiji.

He deliberately concealed the fact that there were actually two Admirals. Only he and the two operators in the monitoring room knew.

After encouraging the two monitoring-room subordinates and promising generous rewards afterward, Caesar claimed he was personally going to activate Death Land before heading toward one of the base’s exits.

”As expected of an Admiral. Master Caesar actually has to personally speed up the poison gas,” one monitoring-room subordinate sighed.

”Look, Master Caesar is in such a hurry that he’s already transformed into his elemental form.”

Caesar was indeed in a hurry.

He was hurrying to escape.

Using poison gas to deal with two Admirals?

Only an idiot drunk beyond reason could come up with something that stupid.

He only hoped his subordinates could hold them off for a little while.

As he fled, Caesar took out a Den Den Mushi and contacted Doflamingo.

But before he could say anything, he suddenly felt an overwhelming aura rising behind him.

Turning around, Caesar nearly lost his soul in terror.

Nagasawa had already caught up.

The entire research facility had also been transformed into a giant ice sculpture.

Knowing he had absolutely no chance against an Admiral, Caesar immediately abandoned all resistance and knelt to beg for mercy.

On the other end of the Den Den Mushi, Doflamingo frowned when he heard Caesar pleading.

After the call was disconnected, his expression grew even darker.

Caesar was extremely important to Doflamingo.

Without Caesar, the supply of artificial Zoan Devil Fruits would be cut off, making it impossible to explain things to Kaido.

Nagasawa showed Caesar no mercy despite his surrender.

He knocked him unconscious, harvested his Devil Fruit, and killed him on the spot.

Nagasawa felt absolutely no psychological burden in killing someone like Caesar.

Together with Monet, whom they had already defeated inside the base, Nagasawa had completed his primary objective for coming to Punk Hazard.

Both Logia Devil Fruits were now in his possession.

Afterward, Nagasawa returned to the base.

Everyone there had either been knocked unconscious by his Conqueror’s Haki or frozen by Aokiji. Not a single person had escaped.

The three regrouped, and Tina reported, ”The G-5 personnel will be here very soon. They’re taking this operation seriously. Base Commander Vergo is personally leading the team.”

Nagasawa smiled, had Aokiji undo the ice, informed Tina that Vergo was a mole, and then the two of them hid, leaving Tina alone.

”Brigadier General Tina, what’s the situation here?” Before long, Vergo hurried over to Punk Hazard with his men.

Looking at Vergo’s anxious expression, Tina would have praised him for being responsible if Nagasawa hadn’t already revealed he was a spy.

”The enemy has already been defeated, but Caesar escaped. However, I discovered many things here, including evidence that Doflamingo has been colluding with pirates. This must be reported to the World Government immediately.” Tina acted according to the script Nagasawa had prepared in advance.

Hearing that Tina had uncovered evidence linking his young master with Caesar and Kaido, Vergo maintained a calm expression, but inside, a storm was raging.

”Please take me to see it, Brigadier General Tina. This is indeed very important,” Vergo nodded.

”By the way, Brigadier General Tina, have you reported this to Headquarters yet?” Vergo asked.

”No. I discovered this place by accident,” Tina replied.

Vergo secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

As long as Marine Headquarters hadn’t learned about it, then things were still salvageable.

All he had to do now was silence everyone, destroy all the evidence, and pin everything on Caesar.

The capable and courageous Marine Headquarters Brigadier General Tina discovered the wanted criminal Caesar’s location. The G-5 Marines rushed to provide support, only to be wiped out by the pirates’ evil scheme. Only the base commander narrowly escaped.

It was a good script.

Although Vergo might lose his position as base commander, he would at least keep his rank as a Marine Vice Admiral.

Therefore, not long after entering the base, Vergo seized the opportunity and launched a surprise attack on Tina.

He knew his own men well—they were expendable. So he chose to eliminate Tina first.

However, Tina had been secretly on guard against him all along.

The instant Vergo attacked, she dodged immediately.

Tina truly hadn’t expected it.

Vergo really was a mole.

The commander of a Marine base in the New World being an undercover agent—it was an enormous catch.

The G-5 Marines were completely bewildered.

Why was their own base commander suddenly attacking a Headquarters Brigadier General?

Facing the confused shouts of his subordinates, Vergo had no intention of explaining anything.

He attacked Tina relentlessly, forcing her onto the defensive.

Although he was only a branch Vice Admiral, G-5 was located in the New World, so the Marines stationed there were on the same level as Headquarters. Its Vice Admirals were certainly no weaker than Headquarters Brigadier Generals.

As the G-5 Marines continued shouting questions, Vergo finally grew irritated.

Still can’t understand the situation?

With a flash, he kicked two Marines flying.

At that moment, no matter how unwilling they were to accept it, the G-5 Marines had to face reality.

Their base commander—the man they had always regarded as a champion of justice—was actually an undercover agent.

Some Marines couldn’t accept the truth and burst into tears.

All they received in return was Vergo’s contemptuous gaze.

”How pathetic. Though I suppose it doesn’t matter. Waiting to die or struggling before dying makes little difference. Every one of you will die here.”

”Really? Including me?” Nagasawa stepped out from the shadows with Aokiji, smiling.

Vergo turned toward the voice.

His expression changed instantly.

As a base commander, there was no way he wouldn’t recognize those two.

Nagasawa was the newly appointed White Horse Admiral, while Aokiji was the former Admiral.

At that moment, Vergo had no time to wonder why the retired Aokiji was there.

He had only one thought.

Run.
