I’m really just an NPC

Chapter 207

Chapter 207

”Look, it’s that giant tortoise, and it’s showing its head again!” Lin Fan said with his pupils contracted, pointing to the surveillance screen.

Bopu, Botong, and Ronan turned their heads to look at the real-time monitoring screen on the right, and their expressions changed suddenly.

Subconsciously, several people’s breathing slowed down, for fear of attracting the dragon turtle’s attention.

……

At this moment, in Evergreen Lake, Dragon Turtle was unable to fall asleep again because he was inexplicably agitated, so he put his head out of the lake to get some air.

Turtles love to sleep very much. The so-called spring sleepiness, autumn fatigue, hibernation, and summer weakness are very vivid descriptions of turtles.

Dragon turtle loves to sleep very much. It doesn’t know how many years it has slept.

It stared at the lake and looked around, but didn’t find a trace of familiarity. It looked down at its own body again, and found that it seemed to have grown several times larger.

All of this made Long Gui’s memory erratic.

Decades ago, it was just an ordinary turtle in the creek at the foot of Changqing Mountain.

At the beginning, something with flames fell from the sky, smashed into the rocks, and landed not far from it.The stream flows through there, and by chance, it made a nest there.

Soon, for some unknown reason, it began to eat a lot, its size began to increase rapidly, and it gradually opened up its intelligence.

It immediately realized that the thing that fell from the sky was a treasure, and it relied on it to become stronger and wiser. It regarded it as the most important thing, and began to guard it, never leaving it.

Day by day, its size is getting bigger and stronger, and its strength is getting stronger and stronger. It is no problem to break the mountain.

But the tortoise is gentle and lazy, and the dragon tortoise has inherited this good temperament, and has never been far away from the creek where he grew up.

And its baby has the effect of relieving hunger, it can ”full its stomach” by drinking water every day, and it can also grow its body.

As time goes by, its size continues to grow and its strength continues to grow.

Until one day, it suddenly felt that it could control the water flow, so it instinctively drew water from the ground, and even remotely controlled the clouds in the sky to rain on itself.

Over time, it molded a lake around itself.

The lake was so small at first that even the body of the dragon turtle couldn’t be submerged.

Afterwards, the lake became bigger and bigger, but the tortoise felt that it was getting more and more ”tired”, and it would become ”out of breath” when it moved. It wanted to sleep very much, so it started to sleep, and it never woke up.

Its strength increased too fast under the influence of the ”Treasure from the Extraterrestrial”, and the average spiritual energy concentration of Planet Aquamarine couldn’t support its daily activities at all. It can only survive healthily near the ”Treasure from the Extraterrestrial”, and it has to sleep just do.

As the lake accumulated more and more water, it grew larger and larger, with its back always exposed on the lake.

The wind and rain, coupled with geological movements, gradually left silt and garbage on its back. The silt is thicker and the garbage is more and more, gradually forming a layer of soil.

Some water birds brought grass seeds, and some big tree seeds came by the wind and took root on its back. Gradually, an island was formed on its back.

It wasn’t until the battle between Bop and the octopus a while ago that it was truly awakened for the first time, but it turned over and fell asleep again.

This time, due to the influence of Murphy’s superpower, the water monsters fought hard, turning the lake upside down and disturbing its dream.

It woke up, but after the water monsters were frightened, the lake was calm, but it couldn’t fall asleep anyway.

It looked up at the sky, took a few breaths, and wondered in its big head: Huh?The air is much more comfortable to breathe than before, and it can even walk a few steps without panting!
In addition, it has high strength, reaching the peak of SSS level, and its perception is extremely sharp. It can vaguely feel that the world is changing, and this change is intensifying, as if something big is about to happen.

It seems... soon to be free.

The dragon tortoise has a very high IQ now, but IQ is not equal to wisdom. It has almost never seen anything, its brain is blank, like a blank sheet of paper, and it still relies entirely on instinct when thinking about things.

A thought suddenly popped up in its mind: By the way, what was my purpose when I gathered water to form a lake?

Play in the water!

Yes, this is the most simple and plain purpose.

At the beginning, the stream was too shallow, and it was too big to enjoy the fun of swimming in the water. That’s why it attracted so much water from the ground and the sky.

seem……

The water in the lake is deep enough now!
puff~
The dragon tortoise swung its limbs and tail, its big head floated and sank, and began to play with the water.

The more it plays, the more excited it becomes, and the more it plays, the more intense its movements become.

It’s happy.

But other creatures suffer

The dragon turtle was too big, and soon set off a huge wave in the lake.

The water monsters in the lake stuck their heads deep into the mud, trembling.

On the shore of the lake, Lin Fan and the others in the water intake base were also terrified.

Bop shouted in a deep voice: ”No, this giant turtle is going to cause water waves to flood the surrounding areas. Run away quickly!”

In the monitoring screen, the water was already surging, and it was about to flood the water intake base, and it was too late to go through the door. Bopu’s legs bent slightly, and his whole body shot into the sky like a cannonball, directly poking a big hole in the ceiling of the base.

Lin Fan, Botong, and Ronan followed closely behind and got out of the big hole.

Two bounces, several people stood on the road, Ronan suddenly said: ”Get in the car!”

Lin Fan was at a loss: what are you doing in the car? !At this time, can driving be as fast as our two legs? !
But Bopu and Botong got into the jeep without saying a word, and Lin Fan could only get in.

Ronan also got in and sat in the driver’s seat.

In the next moment, Lin Fan wanted to understand why Ronan told him to let him drive.

Ronan just pulled the handbrake off and didn’t even start the engine of the jeep, but the jeep ran forward quickly, faster and faster, far exceeding the usual speed.

Ronan is driving with his mind!
However, the speed of the car was still not as fast as the rushing water of the lake. A few seconds later, a wave came over, and the jeep was about to be submerged.

The next moment, the car body shook and suddenly rose into the sky, and the entire jeep flew up.

Ronan used his telekinesis to drive the jeep like a plane.

The jeep license plate plane flew higher and faster, and successfully left the lake behind.

The Dragon Turtle was just playing in the water, and had no intention of flooding the surrounding areas, so the water in the lake was only fierce at the beginning and close to the lake. A few people ran five kilometers away from the original shore of Changqing Lake, and the lake water could not flow here. .

Ronan controlled the jeep to stop in the air, and carefully found a big tree canopy as cover. The group of people looked towards the center of Evergreen Lake.

”What is the turtle doing? Playing in the water?”

”It seems to be really...”

Everyone was speechless.

Bopu and Ronan are the peak existences of the human race on Planet Aquamarine, but they were frightened by a monster playing in the water, which made them feel ashamed.

In addition to the shame, there was a sense of powerlessness and a trace of fear in their hearts.

If this monster rampages on Planet Seablue, it will be unstoppable!

The dragon tortoise is terrifying, this is the consensus of several people.

Although the dragon turtle seemed to be playing in the water and looked harmless to humans and animals, a few people did not dare to be careless and hid aside to observe carefully until the dragon turtle had played in the water for a full half hour. , dived under the lake again, and then a few people truly breathed a sigh of relief.

Bop: ”Let’s go back to the outpost first. After we return to the city, we will convene a meeting to study this matter.”

Ronan gently put the jeep back on the ground and drove back to the sentry base.
