Chapter 173 Regaining Dragon Root Grass

Chapter 173 Regaining Dragon Root Grass

Snake thread grass likes a cold and humid environment. The climate on the island is humid, and it is difficult to see sunlight under the big trees, which is just right for snake thread grass to survive.

Moreover, snake thread has a slight neurotoxin. Except for snakes and rodents, which usually eat some of this plant, other animals hardly eat it.

Waterfowl are the most abundant on this island, and birds don’t eat grass, so snake thread grass has almost no natural enemies on the island, and it’s soaring.

”There are still vines and vines, and there are quite a few of them!”

The island is rich in psychic energy, and many snake thread plants have evolved into vine plants.

Botong asked: ”Jiaoteng grass? Is it the kind we found in Pojun City back then, which can be made into a stimulant potion, the one I ate in the Great Barren Mountain?”

”Yes.” Lin Fan nodded.

The powerful effect of the stimulant potion is still fresh in Broadcom’s memory: ”Then quickly collect some.”

The stimulant made by the jiao vine grass was not as effective as it was in the Great Barren Mountain last time, because Lin Fan used the dragon root grass at that time.

However, dragon vine grass is still very useful. It can be used to prepare advanced potions for earth warriors.

Although Lin Fan can’t use it, after the public beta, some players are willing to spend money to buy it.

Lin Fan immediately began to gather vine grass.

[You get ”Jiao Teng Grass”]

[You get ”Jiao Teng Grass”]

……

Lin Fan pouted his ass, picked one after another, and collected more than 200 plants. He looked up and found that the large area covered with snake thread had only been searched for about half.

This trip, even if there is no other harvest on the island, dozens of tons of second-level spiritual liquid and hundreds of vines and vines, Lin Fan has gained a lot.

”Dragon root grass!?”

While Lin Fan was searching for dragon root grass among the snakes and snakes, he suddenly saw a flash of green in front of him. After a closer look, he found that it was indeed dragon root grass with green tips and yellow roots.

Surprise immediately appeared on Lin Fan’s face.

A dragon root grass is worth more than hundreds of vine grasses!
This trip to Changqing and Qingdao was a bloodbath.

However, this dragon root grass is obviously not old enough. The older the dragon root grass, the yellower the root, and the green on the tip will fade a little.

Fully mature dragon root grass, the green cap has been removed, and the tip is light yellow.

According to Lin Fan’s visual estimation, the age of this dragon root grass is not even comparable to the one he and Botong found in Pojun City.

However, from the current point of view, it is impossible for Lin Fan to come up to this island often, even if the year is not enough, he will take it away.

Thinking of this, Lin Fan happily walked forward holding the dagger.

Suddenly, a figure flashed, and Botong blocked him.

”what happened?”

”There are monsters.”

Lin Fan’s pupils shrank, and he immediately became vigilant.

However, he spread out his perception and carefully sensed his surroundings, but found nothing.

”It’s in the ground, right next to the plant you want to pick,” Pope explained.

The Dragon Root Grass is only about 20 meters away from Lin Fan. Lin Fan looked at the ground, scanning inch by inch, but still couldn’t find where the monster was.

But Bo Pu is much stronger than Lin Fan. He said that if there are monsters, there must be monsters.

And this monster Lin Fan couldn’t perceive it, it should be of a high level!
Lin Fan clenched the flame knife tightly, and Bo Tong raised the demon stick, ready to fight.

thump~
Suddenly, Bopper lifted his foot and stomped the ground hard, shaking the ground.

But the ground near the dragon root grass was still quiet, and there was no shadow of the monster.

dong dong~
Bop stomped again, twice, shaking the ground several times.

Boom!

Suddenly, with a loud noise, a long and thick monster emerged from the ground.

It looks like a boa constrictor, with a waist as thick as an adult’s thigh, and a body length of nearly four meters, but if you look closely, you can find that its head is actually round.

Lin Fan conveniently threw [Investigation] at the monster.

【Golden eel】

【Level: 40】

[Health Volume: 40300/40300]

[Skills: Burrowing, Hibernation, Stealth]

[Others: slightly? ? 】

This turned out to be a golden eel at the peak of D rank? !

It’s not that the level is too high, but too low!Lin Fan thought it would be a C-level monster or even a B-level monster.

but……

Although it is not high grade, but it is so big, it must be delicious fried.

The golden eel raised its head high and screamed a warning to Lin Fan and others: ”嘤嘤嘤~”

Lin Fan: ”...”

This cry is so unique.

Seeing this, Bopp relaxed. He felt that the monster was not too strong. It was just hiding underground. The spiritual energy on the island surged from time to time, covering the monster’s breath. It was difficult to find it, and he mistakenly thought it was very strong.

But Lin Fan suddenly became anxious, because he swept the ground roughly, and found that the dragon root grass was gone! !
Where the dragon root grass used to grow, now there is only a big hole left. Then the whereabouts of the dragon root grass is self-evident, and it will definitely be swallowed by this golden eel with soil and mud.

How can you repair, dare to take away my favorite treasure! !
swoosh~
Lin Fan moved, rushing towards the golden eel like a gust of wind.

Bopu and Botong didn’t stop him. Lin Fan had always acted prudently. He dared to take the initiative to attack, which proved that he was sure of killing this golden eel monster. The two of them just needed to watch the show.

Lin Fan rushed on the road, his psychic energy was running, and he threw [Bad Luck] at the head of the golden eel.

Afterwards, he activated the active ability of [Dragon Bloodline], and used the spiritual combat skill [Spiritual Burning], raising the flaming knife high, the blade turned red, and the temperature reached nearly a thousand degrees.

”Death to the Lord!”

Along with these three words, the power of [Evil Dragon’s Roar] spewed out from Lin Fan’s mouth, causing the golden eel to stiffen up and suffocate in its original dodge movement.

shuh~
The red blade cut to the neck of the golden eel...Let’s call it a neck, an eel should be a neck except for the head and tail.

The flame knife is a C-level weapon. After Lin Fan used various skills or combat techniques to amplify himself, his power was no less than that of the peak D-level golden eel.

This knife directly cut off the golden eel’s neck.

【-twenty four】

Huge damage jumped out from the golden eel’s head. At the same time, the golden eel fell into a state of massive bleeding, losing hundreds of blood every second.

The golden eel had no hands or feet, and its neck was cut off. Although it did not die immediately, it could neither escape nor fight back. It could only lie on the ground and roll around erratically, waiting for itself to bleed to death
Lin Fan took the water bag from his waist and drank two gulps.

[You drank 100ml of ”Advanced Linghu Spring Water (Level 110 Spiritual Liquid)”, and according to your strength, you will get a temporary buff effect of ”killing monsters to gain experience +360%” for [-] seconds]

When he was on the island just now, Lin Fan had already replaced the water in the water bag with the second-level psychic liquid, which was just right for him to drink.

”Hey~”

”Hey~”

The golden eel screamed in pain, it was miserable.

shuh~
In the spirit of humanitarianism, Lin Fan split the golden eel’s head in two with one knife, letting it go away happily.

[You killed the LV40 ”Golden Eel” and gained 13347 experience points]

[Because of the gain effect of ”Advanced Spirit Lake Spring Water”, you gain an additional 14681 points of experience]

The experience bar increased a lot, Lin Fan happily put away the flame knife, then pulled out the dagger from his waist, and cut the lower half of the golden eel’s neck... the neck is not suitable, the top of the tail should be the chest.

stab~
The dagger pierced into the golden eel’s chest, and with a slash, it ripped open.

Lin Fan grabbed the eel’s tail and shook it vigorously, the mud and soil were all shaken out.

The dragon root grass was mixed in the soil, and the golden eel hadn’t even had time to digest it.

The dragon root grass is very long, shaped like a dragon, thick and ferocious, Lin Fan found it easily, and put it into the storage space calmly.

Bop and Botong were laughing and discussing how amazing Lin Fan’s sword skills were and how powerful his strength was. They didn’t notice Lin Fan’s little moves at all.

[You get ”Dragon Root Grass”]

It is actually a bit wasteful to use dragon root grass to make stimulant potions. The most valuable way to use this thing is to make it into advanced potions for sky warriors.

It happened that Lin Fan was over level 30, as long as he could keep up with the leveling speed, he would be able to use it in about a month or two.

Dragon Root Grass can help earth warriors advance to sky warriors, and similarly, it can also help D-rank monsters advance to C-rank monsters.

This golden meal probably regards the dragon root grass as its own private property. It huddles underground and absorbs the spiritual energy contained in the dragon root grass. It wants to wait for the dragon root grass to fully mature and then advance by swallowing the dragon root grass.

The idea is the same as that D-class Violent Rat King in the sewer of Pojun City.

Then the end is similar to it.

Oh, no, its fate will probably be even worse. On the return journey later, Lin Fan may take the golden eel back and fry it for food.

Leaving aside the body of the golden eel for the time being, Lin Fan greeted Bopu and Botong, and started looking for Jiaotengcao again.

With his character of a player who would never stop filling his inventory, it was impossible to give up the remaining vines and grasses.

After some searching, Lin Fan uprooted all the nearby vines and vines, and everyone continued to rush towards the center of the island.

Gradually going deeper into the center of the island, the three began to encounter advanced monsters.

These monsters are all amphibians. For the convenience of traveling, they are all shot by Bopu, and they can be easily dealt with.

In the end, everyone passed through the woods and came to the center of the island.

As seen from the air, there is a small lake.

The small lake is not big, about 200 meters long and about the same width, just like a pond.

The strange thing is that around the pond, within a range of about 50 meters, there is not even a root of grass, only some white sand and stones, which are crystal clear, reflect the sunlight, and shine brightly, which is really beautiful.
