I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 583: 11.109 First Green Star - Punishment World: ʼPurgatoryʼ (6)

At the beginning of the conversation, Qi Yun was the one who started talking. His younger sister remained silent and left everything for his elder brother to lead. Qi Yun told Hei Anjing everything interesting about the Empyrean Domain. This includes their cruelty for kidnapping human players and forcing them to convert to become one of them.

Qi Yun spoke, ”Everything had started when those two visitors suddenly appeared in the Empyrean Domain. Two males and they both looked human but their clothes were a bit weird. Like those in the ancient era. Robes are made of unknown materialized material that cannot be burned by spells or mana.

It even deflects physical attacks and even if we join forces there would be some kind of barrier made of unknown energy. It wasnʼt mana that people of our world could use. Something much more powerful and versatile.”

Hei Anjingʼs interest sparked at these words.

”Have you seen these two people you are talking about?” asked Hei Anjing.

Qi Lanyu raised her hands at this moment.

”Me, my lord. Iʼve seen them with my own eyes!” said Qi Lanyu with glowing eyes. In her mind, she is thankful that she could finally make herself useful in front of this powerful lord.

The God of destruction nodded at her and reached out his right index finger and lightly touched her forehead. A temporary imprint of snowflakes appeared between her eyes.

”Now think about the faces of those two men and focus on remembering them,” said Hei Anjing.

Though Qi Lanyu didnʼt understand what the lord in front of her was trying to do, she did as she was told to do. She used all of her patience and concentrated on that memory when she saw those two special beings that appeared in their world without knowing where they came from.

With her eyes closed, Qi Lanyu tried her hardest to remember those guysʼ appearances. Unknown to her, the white snowflake imprint on her forehead started glowing brightly and above her head a mirror-like reflection made of ice appeared from thin air but the end of it is still connected to her forehead.

Qi Yun gasped in shock when he saw what was showing on that ice mirror that appeared above his sisterʼs head. A blurring picture flickers on the ice mirror until the figures on it finally materialize in a much clear picture.

It was also unexpected that at this time Ye Xiajie had teleported back to the Masterʼs bedroom of the suite and came out looking for his wife. He had also seen the appearance of the two men in dark green ancient robes surfacing on the ice mirror. One of the men shown in it was someone very familiar to both him and Hei Anjing. If one could observe more closely, one of the hands peeking out his sleeves doesnʼt seem to be real and his way of walking is a bit misaligned with his height as one of his legs are completely stiff and could only move by getting it to be controlled by his qi. This old man seems to be missing one arm and one leg.

As expected, the moment Hei Anjing saw the face of the old man in a dark green robe the smile on his face completely faded. His expression turned completely icy as he glared at the old man in the ice mirror.

Qi Yun didnʼt notice the changes in Hei Anjingʼs expression much less the arrival of Ye Xiajie. But he notices the little resemblance between Hei Anjing and the handsome old man in the ice mirror.

He commented with all honesty, ”My lord, this old man seems to look a bit like the Lordʼs appearance. Especially when you have those argent irises when you activate your ice elf bloodline.”

But when Qi Yun turned around he almost bit off his tongue when he saw the scary expressions on Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajieʼs face. Both look cold and emotionless but their eyes were filled with killing intent as if they could wait but twist the old manʼs head in the ice mirror at this moment.

HIIH!!!

Qi Yun stumbled in fear and bumps on his younger sister. Because of this her concentration instantly got cut off and opened her eyes. The moment she opened her eyes, the snowflake imprint on her foreheads broke and disappeared. She was pushing her brother away as she felt all of his weight on him.

Qi Lanyu yelled, ”Ahh! Youʼre heavy, big brother!!” she complained while pushing her brother off her.

It was at this moment that Hei Anjing noticed the arrival of his husband and his anger instantly fades as if he wasnʼt angry in the first place. He turned his head around and smiled sweetly at his husband.

Hei Anjing said with a spoiled tone of voice, ”Husband, youʼre back.”

”Um. Done with the clean-up,” responded Ye Xiajie as his cold expression immediately melted as he looked at his wife. He lowered his head and land a soft kiss on his wifeʼs smooth forehead and then sat next to him.

Both the couple acted as if they did not show hostility towards that old man on the ice mirror just now. Qi Yun was smart enough and reacted as if he didnʼt see the changes in their expression as well. They all played as if nothing unexpected happened in those few minutes of time.

Hei Anjing returned to his usual playful demeanor. A mischievous smile once again arises from the corner of his lips and his phoenix-shaped eyes narrow in crescent to show his joy.

”What Iʼve seen was interesting enough. As you wish I will sign a temporary alliance contract with your group. The following detail will entail the following.”

[Alliance between, variable A, the group of Hei Anjing, and variable B, the group of Qi Yun approved.

Roles to fulfill:

1. A would do their best to support and provide all the help B would need in saving Player Ming Liang.

2. B would also support A during the duration of the alliance. Protect each other, trust each other and never betray one another. Failure to do so, either A or B and vice versa would be punished by the Oath of the alliance contract.

There is only death for betrayers and traitors.

3. Team funds of each team would be connected and can be withdrawn by any members of A and B. Equal rights for team distribution would be followed for the splitting of rewards.

4. Player Hei and Player Abyss promised to protect all members of B during the alliance. Prevention of death is a must.

5. The alliance would only last until both parties safely left the Punishment World and returned to the Abyssal City where the contract would be absolved.

All requirements above are to be fulfilled by both parties. Once even one of the roles had failed to be completed the alliance would be broken and the one who broke it would be punished for not being able to harm anyone from the other party regardless of ways using a direct method or indirect actions.]

The labels of signatures for the two leaders of the two groups were written on under the contract. Ye Xiajie and Hei Anjing signed on the left side while Qi Yun placed his signature on the right side. With this, the contract of a temporary alliance between the two groups had been finalized. Since Qi Yun and Hei Anjingʼs group were considered allied, the formerʼs group was requested to move to the other suite beside the place of Hei Anjingʼs group. Knowing this, Qi Yun and the rest of his group were thoroughly delighted by this privilege.

The three of them moved from the ordinary dormitory type room on the lower floor to a suite type room provided only to those groups in the top 3. After the other low ranked rankers learned about this privilege some soloists or groups also signed alliance contracts with those in second and third-ranking.

Before midnight the two groups spend a few more hours trying to know each other. Zane, Chu Mo, and Qi Yun, who had similar silly personalities, got along so easily. Qi Lanyu and Yu Suya seek guidance from Lan She and An Yuan who are knowledgeable about spell constructions and mana control.

Han Ya on the other hand asked for a private conversation with Ye Xiajie which Hei Anjing allowed. Once Han Ya and Ye Xiajie left the room and went somewhere to talk, Hei Anjing went to the kitchen to make some midnight snacks with Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang.

He made a lot of nachos, fries, cheese nuggets, and pizzas and even prepared some liquor and wine for them to consume. It didnʼt take a while for the group to gather around him and start eating the delicious snacks he made for them. Everyone knows how godly Lord Heiʼs cooking is. In just one night, another group was allured by his cooking. Even the two ladies who were used to having strict diets had to break their routine just to eat more snacks that night.

On the rooftop of the hotel.

The cold breeze flows in the surroundings unseen by oneʼs naked eyes. Only the fluttering of the clothes and hair shows the existence of the icy wind blowing around them. Ye Xiajie had longed to change his clothes to modern ones that are coupled with his wifeʼs white pajamas, which were in the same design as Hei Anjingʼs sleeping wear but black shade.

He stood before the black carpeted heaven had had his back behind the crimson full moon hanging in the sky. Ye Xiajieʼs current expression is neutral yet his eyes were emotionless and cold. At this moment both of his eyes had turned scarlet glowing brightly within the darkness.

He looks like a demon looking down the world with an apathetic gaze at the scene under his reign. But at this moment, the only person in front of him is Han Ya who was politely kneeling on one knee before Ye Xiajie.

Han Ya salutes with a servile tone, ”This servant of your majestyʼs undead general, Han Ya, greets the Evil God, His Majesty Yan Lou!”

Ye Xiajie stared at him silently without accepting Han Yaʼs greeting. Despite Han Ya recognizing his identity in this world, the Evil God doesnʼt care at all. Him, on the other hand, his wife doesnʼt interest him much. He also hated wasting time with other people. He is an impatient man.

As expected Ye Xiajie didnʼt accept the greeting and spoke of what Han Ya had wanted in the first place.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Do you want to have the throne this lord possesses? My servant general, did your ancient human god counterpart make you that bold?”

Han Ya trembles when Ye Xijaie mentions his beloved...

”I... This servant is...” Han Ya stuttered in fear.

If before he followed the man in front of him with all due respect and awe, what he is feeling towards this person right now is his greatest fear in all his life. He had seen for himself the ruthlessness and cruelty of this person whenever he wanted to erase someone.

He had always been nonchalant about the lives of others. This includes his life and the life of Chu Mo, his other servant. They would never be able to enter this exalted beingʼs line of sight in his whole life. No one could except for Lord Hei whom he had given his heart to.

Because of the terror imprinted in his soul, Han Ya could only shut his mouth in fear unlike before when he had nothing to fear, right now he is most afraid of dying and disappearing forever. Because he knew that if he dies, his beloved would be all alone in this world, and... that is something he would never like for An Yuan to experience. He knew that his beloved could never bear it as he himself could never imagine a life without his AʼYuan by his side.

Silence and tension spread on the rooftop. Han Ya unconsciously lowered his head and kept quiet without saying a word. Ye Xiajie on the other hand is not willing to waste more time with him. He wanted to return to his wifeʼs side and spend more time with his beloved than talking to Han Ya whom he considered nothing in his eyes.

Ye Xiajie spoke, ”As Iʼve said before. Once you sit on this throne you can never leave this world unless you find another successor but at the same time with this throne, you can grant that human lover of yours freedom or... Imprison him in this world which this throne controls.”

Han Yaʼs heart started beating fast when he heard the words his majesty had told him. In the depths of his heart is his hidden obsession. A negative feeling of wanting to tie up An Yuanʼs life with his. He wanted everything. He wanted to be by his side forever yet at the same time he wanted to give his beloved what he wanted the most. The chance to return to his real world.

The words of his majesty had made his heart tremble as if this person in front of him could see his most darkest emotion he had buried in his soul. His obsession with love and family. His possessiveness to have An Yuanʼs love and his selfishness of wanting to tie this person to his side.

But he couldnʼt do it. Because An Yuan is the only being he had fallen in love with. Like how strong his negative emotions are, his positive emotions of giving everything his beloved wanted to is as strong as his darkness. He wanted to fulfill his wish to return and this wish is much stronger than the shadows within his heart.

Seeing Han Ya not speaking a word yet showing various distorted expressions on his face made Ye Xiajie feel that he had similarities with this little undead soul. The darkness in his heart wanted to imprison his wife to his own soul yet at the same time he wanted to give everything good in this world and offer it to his Jingʼer.

This little one of his, who had sacrificed everything for himself. He wanted to offer himself to this person. Sadly, this him he wanted to offer is currently incomplete. He still needs to make himself whole first before he could give himself away to his wife. The sole sanity and sanctuary of his soul. His other half, Hei Anjing.

Ye Xiajie spoke, ”A foolish undead who finally found his heart.”

With a wave of his hand, Ye Xiajie passed the control of the Abyssal World to Han Ya. He had no hesitation in doing so and the receiver himself was left speechless with the sudden surge of energy in his body.

The control he had over the Heavenly Laws of the Abyssal World was transferred to Han Ya. Ye Xiajie remains detached as he watches the world energy welcomes their new ruler.

Ye Xiajie no longer had any use for the throne of the True God of this world. Because when his wife had arrived in this world the connection made his soul fragment in this world had been broken. The world plot could no longer control him as the highest authority that could even go above the laws of the heavens is under the command of his wife.

As his wife freed his soulʼs restraints on this world nothing can hinder him anymore. Even the future new True God of this world, Han Ya, could not control him at all. He is after a Supreme Ruler who rules all darkness and even the abyss included.

He is the embodiment of darkness itself.
