Hearing someone call his name, Lin Yi looked in the direction of the voice and saw a woman in a uniform.

The woman was in her twenties. Her hair was tied up, and she was wearing a black business suit. She looked smart and capable.

Looking at the woman’s appearance, Lin Yi felt that she looked a little familiar, as if he had seen her somewhere before.

After thinking for a while, he said,

“Yang Liu?”

“You two know each other?” Ji Qingyan asked subconsciously.

“My high school classmate. 1 didn’t expect to meet her here.”

“High school classmate?” Ji Qingyan looked at Lin Yi deeply. “Don’t tell me she’s your first love.”

“When I was in school, I was a good student who didn’t care about the outside world and only focused on studying. How could I get involved in such a messy thing?”

“With your brain, if you only focused on studying, you might have gotten into the same school as me,” Ji Qingyan said.

“I’m guessing you spent your time on other girls when you were in school. Otherwise, there wouldn’t have been female students who recognized you after so many years.”

“I’m handsome and rich. Is this my fault too?”

“Yeap, it’s all your fault.”

At this moment, the girl named Yang Liu walked toward Lin Yi. “Are you here to look for a house?”

Lin Yi glanced at the nameplate on her chest. She was a sales consultant at Yunshan International.

“Yeah, we’ve come look for a house.”

Yang Liu sized up Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan.

He could not help but feel a little emotional.

When she was in school, she had written him a love letter, but he had ignored her.

She had forgotten about this at first, but when she saw Lin Yi today, she suddenly remembered it.

“I heard that you’ve been in Zhonghai since you graduated. Why did you come back to Yangcheng to buy a house? Is Zhonghai too much pressure?”

“I’m just buying a house. This has nothing to do with pressure.”

“Hehe.” Yang Liu chuckled and did not say anything else.

He clearly couldn’t survive in Zhonghai anymore. In the end, when he returned to Yangcheng, he hid the news.

“You can go take a look at the houses in Yunshan International Phase Three area. They are currently under construction, and they are presale properties. They are considerably cheaper than other properties on the market, and the prices are very affordable.”

Ji Qingyan glanced at Yang Liu. She hadn’t paid much attention to her before, but from the way she spoke, she had a feeling that Yang Liu looked down on Lin Yi.

“Little Yang, do you know these two clients?”

The person who spoke was a man in his thirties. He was well-dressed and wore glasses, giving off a refined feeling.

His name was Zhou Ping, and he was the team leader of Team 1.

“He was my high school classmate.”

“Since you know each other, you will be in charge of these two clients.” Zhou Ping said.

“This will make it easier to communicate.”

“I’m afraid I can’t do that. My boyfriend will be here soon. I might not have time.”

“Are you taking a leave of absence?”

“No, no.” Yang Liu said.

“My boyfriend and I are getting married too. We’re going to buy a house here, so we have to look around as well. I won’t be able to show them around.”

Creak…

At this moment, the door to the sales office opened.

A young man walked in from outside. He looked to be about 30 years old.

He was dressed in appropriate casual clothes, his hair was neatly styled, and he held a BMW car key in his hand.

“Honey, I’m here.”

When she saw the man who came in, Yang Liu stood on her tiptoes and waved her hand. The latter walked towards her.

However, when he walked over, the man holding the keys to the BMW saw Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan and couldn’t help but size them up.

Her legs, wrapped in jeans, were shapely and attractive. The black windbreaker exuded elegance, complementing her impeccable facial features and figure.

In reality, and even in the entertainment industry, it would be hard to find a woman as beautiful as her.

“Lin Yi, let me introduce you. This is my boyfriend, Du Ning, who is in the business of importing parallel-imported cars.”

“That’s pretty impressive,” Lin Yi replied casually.

He could smell a hint of pretentiousness from Yang Liu.

“Liu Liu, introduce me too,” Du Ning said.

“He’s my high school classmate, Lin Yi. The person beside him should be his girlfriend.” Yang Liu said.

“He’s been working in Zhonghai. I didn’t expect to meet you here.”

“Why did you return to Yangcheng to buy a house when you’re working in Zhonghai?”

“Do you think it’s easier to get a place there?”

Yang Liu said.

“The pressure in Zhonghai is so high, with a casual apartment costing millions. It’s not a place where ordinary people can survive. If you can’t make it there, isn’t it normal to buy a house back in Yangcheng?”

“You’re right. In Yangcheng, you can buy a good house with a few million yuan. It’s indeed much cheaper than Zhonghai.”

Although Yang Liu’s tone wasn’t obvious, Lin Yi could detect it clearly.

‘Did I f*cking offend you? Why are you acting so cool since the moment you appeared?’

“Alright, Lin Yi, we’re going to look at the house too. I won’t talk to you anymore.”

With that, Yang Liu looked at her team leader, Zhou Ping, and said,

“Team Leader, 1 don’t have time to handle them. Please find someone else to receive them.”

“Go do your thing. I happen to have nothing to do. 1’11 be in charge of these two customers.”

“Take them to the third phase area. The house prices there are relatively cheaper. Then, give them a discount and lower the down payment. Otherwise, it will be a big expense.”

“I know what to do. Don’t worry.” Zhou Ping said.

“But are you guys also going to take a look at the third phase development? It’s really quite good value if you plan to buy an upcoming house.”

“We’re getting married next year. We can’t wait so long for our house.” Yang Liu smiled and said,

“Moreover, my boyfriend’s family is quite well-off. He doesn’t need to take a loan to buy a house measuring 200 square meters. There’s no need for us to go for a third-phase house.”

“Alright, go ahead. I’ll bring these two clients to look around.”

Zhou Ping sighed. This long-haired woman was much better-looking than Yang Liu, but the man she found was different. There would definitely be a difference in the quality of her future life.

Yang Liu nodded and looked at Lin Yi. “We’ll leave first. Don’t worry, we’ll definitely give you the lowest price.”

Ji Qingyan,”…”

Lin Yi,”…”

This girl was really something.

Lin Yi ignored Yang Liu and looked at Zhou Ping.

“Take us to the third phase development.”

“Yes, sir and madam, this way please.”

Following Zhou Ping’s directions, Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan walked over.

“Aren’t we planning to buy a villa? Why bother looking at regular apartments?”

“Big brother got a new girlfriend recently, and I think she’s quite nice. They are not getting any younger, and if things go well, at the latest, they will be considering marriage within the next two years. 1 want to buy an apartment for them as a gift.”

“Isn’t that a bit inappropriate?” Ji Qingyan said.

“You bought a villa for Ningyue, and you’re giving Big Brother a regular apartment?”

“He might not even accept a regular apartment, let alone a villa,” Lin Yi said.

“Otherwise, he wouldn’t be working as a truck driver now..”
