Noticing that something was amiss with Lin Yi, Ji Qingyan hurriedly put her clothes aside and headed downstairs.

At this moment, Lin Yi had already hung up.

“What happened?”

“At the dinner tonight, two foreigners touched Yuanyuan and Tian Yan. They’ve been sent to the police station. I’ll go over and see what’s going on.”

“Wait for me. I’ll go with you.”

“Go change your clothes.”

“Okay.”

The two of them quickly changed their clothes and drove to the police station.

In the police station, Qi Xianzhao, He Yuanyuan, and Tian Yan stood together and looked at the people opposite them coldly.

Opposite the three of them stood a dozen foreigners.

One of them had blond hair and blue eyes. He was very tall and had a cynical expression. He was not nervous at all.

His name was Lemontov, and he was the general manager of the Ruxian company, Segby. He was the representative of the previous tripartite negotiations.

Beside him stood a brown-skinned man with a bald head that gleamed in the light.

In terms of figure and appearance, there was a huge gap between him and Lemontov.

The man’s name was Dunga. He was the vice president of the Brazilian company, Bradsco, and was also one of the negotiators.

Back when they were negotiating, the two of them had developed a strong interest in He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan. This was also one of the reasons why the cooperation could go so smoothly.

That was why they suggested coming to the Lingyun Group to visit and find an opportunity to make a move.

However, they had underestimated He Yuanyuan and Tian Yan’s character.

Just as the two of them were touching the other party, they received a slap, stunning the two of them on the spot. In the end, Qi Xianzhao called the police and Lin Yi.

Tian Yan’s gaze swept across the two of them. She felt that these foreigners’ brains were a little abnormal.

Did she really think that they were President Lin and that all the women in the world were instant noodles that could pick up whoever they wanted?

The police officer in the middle didn’t know what to do either.

Lingyun Group was a famous company in Zhonghai. Ordinary people really couldn’t afford to offend it.

On the other side were foreign companies. There was a special set of laws regarding them that the bureau could not deal with.

What should he do?

“As the person-in-charge of this project, I think your actions are very damaging to your company’s image. 1 also hope that you can give us a reasonable explanation,” Qi Xianzhao said.

“I don’t see what’s wrong with what we did.”

Lemontov’s lawyer said,

“Mr. Lemontov simply wanted to invite Miss He for a drink, but we didn’t expect her to resort to violence. Such behavior is really not appropriate, so we will also hold you responsible!”

“Bullsh*t!”

He Yuanyuan scolded,

“You were hugging my waist, and you’re saying this is normal?”

“Of course, where I come from, this is basic etiquette!”

“Hehe… I understand now.”

He Yuanyuan glanced at the lawyer who spoke, “From the beginning, 1 felt that you were like a mixed-blood. 1 guess your mother was hugged to sleep by the Eight-Nation Alliance. How impressive.”

Qi Xianzhao,”???”

Tian Yan,”???”

As expected of someone who could fight President Lin for 300 rounds without suffering a disadvantage!

Both sides were stunned by He Yuanyuan’s scolding.

She was the vice president of a big company after all. Why was she acting like a female hooligan?

They had never seen her like this when they were negotiating!

“Director He, 1 hope you can watch your words,” Lemmon’s lawyer said.

“As the representative of Huaxia, you did such a violent thing to my client. I think this is extremely rude. We will complain about your actions later. According to the relevant terms of the contract, we have the right to terminate the deal. I hope you can bear all the consequences and compensate us properly.”

“Don’t you guys have any shame? It’s fine if you molested us, but now you’re also complaining?”

“We’re only doing things according to the laws and regulations. We didn’t do anything unreasonable. You were in the wrong first.”

Lemontov’s lawyer went on,

“And soon, the people from the embassy will be involved in this matter. All the consequences will be borne by yourself. Don’t blame me for not reminding you about this.”

“Our Lingyun Group will never give in on this matter. No matter what, we will see this out to the end,” Qi Xianzhao said.

“Alright, I’ll see you in court then.”

At that moment, the door to the mediation room was pushed open, and Lin Yi and Ji Qingyan walked in.

“Yuanyuan, Director Tian.”

Upon entering the room, Ji Qingyan immediately rushed up to the two of them.

“How are you? You’re not injured, right?”

“Not really. We slapped them, and then Brother Qi called the police.”

“That’s good.”

“Let Lin Yi handle the rest.”

“Hello, President Lin. I’m the general manager of Segby Company, Lemontov. Nice to meet you.”

Lemantov extended his hand, wanting to familiarize himself with Lin Yi.

“There’s no need to shake hands.”

Lin Yi turned around and looked at the police officers beside him. “Generally speaking, how would you deal with such a situation?”

“According to the normal laws and regulations, they will be detained for 72 hours so we can obtain further evidence before making a decision.”

“There’s no need to go through so much trouble. Release them.”

“Release them?”

The policeman was stunned.

After all, he was the president of the corporation. His employees had been bullied. Even if it was to please foreign clients, he shouldn’t do something like this.

After all, this was a large, reputable company. If news broke, this incident would be very embarrassing.

The police were a little flustered, but the people from Lingyun Group were very calm.

They were the closest people to Lin Yi and knew his personality like the back of their hands.

Although this move was confusing, he definitely had other plans.

“President Lin, are you sure you want to do this?”

“Yes, let him go. We will discuss this privately.”

“Since you’ve decided to have a private chat, we won’t say anything else. Just sign the form later.”

“Sorry to trouble you.”

“Your boss is more sensible and knows how to act appropriately,” Lemontov said.

“As an employee of the corporation, you don’t think about the company’s interests. I don’t think you’ll be able to develop much further workplace,” Dunga said.

“I wanted to give you a chance, but you started flaunting your purity. You think too highly of yourselves,” said Lemontov arrogantly.

“After an incident like this, even if you two come to us proactively in the future, there won’t be any chance for reconciliation. As for the three-party cooperation, we will consider it carefully. Of course, whether there can be any remedy later on depends entirely on your sincerity. What do you think, President Lin?”

Lin Yi didn’t respond to Lemontov but instead made a phone call.

“Get ready. The people are about to leave. Just go ahead and take action against any foreigners you see. Break one leg per person-there’s no need to hold back.”
