I Can Devour Spirits

These four divine statues are all carved representations of the main deity worshipped by the Filthy Blood Sect, the Five Pass God, revealing four different forms: sometimes sacred and serene, sometimes sinister and terrifying, sometimes enraged and fierce, sometimes alluring and enticing...

Moreover, these four divine statues are completely unclothed, stark naked...

The various forms are ineffable...

This chamber is indeed a Secret Chamber Mandala!

The mandala bears a striking resemblance to the descriptions within Duan Rong’s cultivation technique, Divine Soul Technique’s Fetal Concealment Scripture.

The only difference is that the divine statues in the Fetal Concealment Scripture are the Four Great Kings, whereas the divine statues in this Secret Chamber Mandala are the Five Pass God.

On closer inspection, although the Five Pass God bears the title of a god, it seems more akin to a demon!

Gods and demons, yet the method of constructing the mandala has many similarities.

In front of each divine statue, a stone incense altar is placed, atop which incense burners and candle flames are offered. However, it’s unclear what the candles are made of, as the flame they produce is a ghostly blue, looking quite eerie...

Su Di, Bai Ai, and Pei Qing have already arranged the offerings atop the incense altars of the four divine statues.

Afterwards, they took several bundles of dried grass, soaked in brewed medicine, and placed them at the edge of the high platform in the center of the chamber.

Su Di went to the corner, picked up the two peasant girls left there, and placed them on the high platform.

She stretched their bodies out, letting them lie in the very middle of the high platform...

Then, Bai Ai took a wooden box from a hidden compartment and placed it on the high platform.

Having completed all this, Su Di and Bai Ai checked from left to right, ensuring there were no errors, before leaving.

Bai Ai and Pei Qing waited in the outer chamber, prepared to assist during Wei Yutian and Luan Jingfu’s ceremony, should any need arise.

Meanwhile, Su Di took the lantern she had brought, exited the chamber, and stood near the entrance of the side room.

The three of them typically divided their duties in this way because Su Di was the most accomplished in Martial Arts Cultivation among them, so she usually guarded the outside, ready to alert them in case of unexpected occurrences.

Having completed everything, the three of them stationed themselves at their respective positions.

About the time it takes to burn an incense stick later, Wei Yutian and Luan Jingfu leisurely arrived.

Both had changed clothes, almost naked, wearing only black cloth embroidered with fierce beast heads around their waists, concealing their private parts.

Su Di stood there with the lantern, her pale face instantly flushed red to her ears, she lowered her head, not daring to look at Wei Yutian and Luan Jingfu, focusing only on her toes.

Wei Yutian glanced at Su Di and coldly asked, ”Everything is ready?”

”It’s ready,” Su Di replied.

Luan Jingfu, noticing Su Di’s shy demeanor, felt his desire intensifying.

Wei Yutian slowly walked towards the side room, and Luan Jingfu quickly followed.

From the open hole in the corner, they descended the steps into the chamber.

Bai Ai and Pei Qing, now standing beside the entrance to the Secret Chamber Mandala, watched as Wei Yutian and Luan Jingfu slowly entered, bowing slightly.

Entering the Secret Chamber Mandala, Luan Jingfu’s gaze was fervent as he looked at the two unconscious, flat-lying girls on the central high platform.

He took a deep breath, suppressing the heat in his heart.

Next, they had to proceed with the complex rituals of confessions and smoke offerings. Cultivating the Filthy Blood Divine Skill, unlike ordinary indulgence of desire, follows a strict protocol.

He must endure patiently, step-by-step! Moreover, it is fraught with danger, carelessness is not an option!

Wei Yutian took out a small waterskin from his lower back, then retrieved two specially made copper bowls from an incense altar, handing them to Luan Jingfu.

Luan Jingfu held the two copper bowls in his hands.

Wei Yutian unscrewed the waterskin, an overwhelming stench emanating from it, nauseating anyone who caught a whiff.

Wei Yutian raised the waterskin, pouring out frothy, blood-colored viscous substance like pus, gushing into the copper bowls Luan Jingfu held.

Each holding a copper bowl, they stood before a divine statue, dipping fingers into the pus-blood, drawing three lines on their foreheads.

Then, chanting words, they raised the copper bowls high above their heads, offering them like sacrifices before the statue.

Upon finishing the incantation, they moved to the next statue and repeated the process.

Once offerings and incantations were completed to the four statues, they sat cross-legged before the last statue, pouring the pus-blood from the copper bowls over their heads.

Afterwards, their hands swiftly performed sealing gestures, their chanting suddenly rising in volume.

They were chanting the Five Pass Divine Spell, its tone ancient and its pronunciation twisted, irritating to the ear.

As they gestured and chanted, the pus-blood pouring down, coating their bodies, visibly absorbed into their skin...

At the same time, their bodies began to convulse, their hands trembling with the gestures, their brows furrowed deeply, seemingly enduring immense pain, yet their chanting never halted...

About half the incense stick’s time later, the pus-blood had entirely penetrated their bodies, leaving only faint red marks on their bare skin...

They stopped the sealing gestures and chanting, wiping the sweat from their brows, terror evident in their eyes.

Earlier, they had already entered the Divine Demon Illusion Realm. Any wavering of willpower would have led to possession.

Each time they cultivate the Filthy Blood Divine Skill, this is an extremely dangerous stage, requiring utmost caution.

Frankly, this Filthy Blood Divine Skill, with its stringent conditions, complex rituals, slow progression, and inherent dangers, would not tempt them if not for the tremendous benefits it offers.

As they ceased the gestures and chants, the eyes of the four surrounding Five Pass God statues emanated beams of blood-red light...

Seeing this, both felt a sense of relief.

Once this step is complete, they’ve awakened the statues and established a connection with the Five Pass God, meaning the subsequent rituals won’t involve much peril.

Then, they took the bundles of dried grass from the central high platform in the chamber, ignited them in the fire basin, then extinguished them, taking the smoking bundles and began circling the platform, performing an eerie dance...

This is the next ceremony after awakening the Five Pass God statues, known as the smoke offering.

They danced for about half an hour, until all the dried grass bundles on the central platform were used up, filling the entire Secret Chamber Mandala with thick smoke, making it almost impossible to see anyone...

Thus completing the smoke offering ceremony.

In the dense smoke, they knelt before the Five Pass God statues once more, the statues barely visible amidst the smoke, only the blood-red light from their eyes could pierce the thickness, shining upon the central high platform.

Then they climbed onto the high platform, knelt, flipped their hands, and loudly chanted the Five Pass God Spell.

Next, Luan Jingfu approached one unconscious girl wrapped in the dense smoke on the platform, while Wei Yutian approached the other.

Amidst the smoke covering the platform, the sound of tearing clothes could be heard...

Then, amidst the swirling smoke, there arose cries tinged with sobbing...
