“What’s that sound?” Someone suddenly heard a strange noise.

All of them immediately felt silent.

“I don’t hear any sound. Are you mistaken?”

“No. Listen carefully…”

The next instant, they appeared shocked and doubtful because there was indeed a continuous tinkling sound. It was as though someone was flicking at a metal. Initially, the sound was soft with a low frequency, but soon, the sound was loud and heard frequently.

“Where’s that sound coming from?”

Their expressions changed, for it sounded like someone was making a noise right beside them, but they couldn’t see anyone else.

The next moment, a firm voice was heard speaking to them, which shocked them. “I’m Pang Huanyin from Purple Star Palace. I’m here for a visit. Please open the door!”

“Purple Star Palace…”

“Pang Huanyin?”

These cultivators were dumbfounded. They were naturally familiar with the name. After all, they had just talked about that woman, but what astounded them was that they suddenly heard the woman speak to them. The voice sounded near, but they couldn’t see her anywhere.

Among the crowd, an older cultivator realised something as he said, “Activate the Sky Mirror to see what’s going on outside!”

“Elder Jiang, you mean…”

“Cut the crap and activate it now!” The elderly man urged them.

Soon, these cultivators activated the Sky Mirror and looked into the bronze mirror. What they saw astonished them.

Through the reflection, they could see several figures. The woman at the head was clad in male clothing as she placed her hands behind her back, looking majestic. Although they had never seen her before, they instantly realised who she was.

“Pang Huanyin!”

“She’s outside!”

Pang Huanyin seemed to have detected their presence, so she looked up, seemingly glancing straight at them despite the fact that they were separated by a door. Faced with her sharp gaze, these cultivators couldn’t help but step backwards.

“H-How did she find out where our Hidden Realm would go next?” Someone was so shocked that his face was pale.

The three Hidden Realms wandered around in the Void, and every one of them had their own extrapolation method. Without this method, one couldn’t deduce where the Hidden Realm would go next.

Now, Pang Huanyin was right outside their Hidden Realm. In other words, she had a way to find out where their Hidden Realm was heading. That was inconceivable. What was even more shocking was that she was able to make them hear her voice even though she was outside.

“Inform the Mount Master about it right now!” Elder Jiang hurriedly ordered.

Someone accepted his order and flew towards the mountain.

“Elder Jiang, that woman is outside. What should we do?”

Elder Jiang replied calmly, “Why would we be worried? Although she’s able to find out where our Hidden Realm is, she can’t break into our place. This is a serious matter. We have to let the Mount Master know as quickly as possible.”

Only then did these people come to their senses. As long as the door wasn’t opened, Pang Huanyin couldn’t come in. Why would they be worried?

Right after they let out a breath of relief, some fluctuations of Spiritual Power were seen spreading from the Void. Following that, a golden light expanded and formed a door.

“What’s going on?” Elder Jiang flew away for quite some distance. Disbelief was written all over his face. He had just said Pang Huanyin couldn’t break into Mount Sumeru, but now, the door showed signs of opening.

He was certain that the people on their side were not the ones opening the door. In other words, Pang Huanyin was capable of opening the door to Mount Sumeru. It was understandable that Elder Jiang was flabbergasted.

“Close the door right now!” someone shouted.

Only then did the flustered cultivators take action. Since the door could be opened, it could be closed as well. Regardless of how Pang Huanyin was able to achieve that, they couldn’t let her come in. If they couldn’t stop her from entering the Hidden Realm, they would be held responsible.

Just then, a hand suddenly stuck out from the golden door and clenched the frame. The door was illusory as it was formed by a Spiritual Power, but now, it seemed to be tangible.

All of their attention was attracted to the hand as their hearts were filled with horror. It was as if an ominous beast’s claw instead of a Human hand had clutched the door frame. It also felt as if the beast would step out from the other side of the door at any moment.

The person clenching the door frame exerted more force on his hand and emerged. He stood in front of the door, looking mighty.

They looked at him and realised that he was a young man in his early twenties. His clothes were tattered, and his entire body was soaked in blood. Through the gap in his clothes, they could see his severe wounds.

Those were not wounds caused by a battle. Instead, it was a price he had to pay for barging into the Hidden Realm when the door wasn’t stable yet as the Void slashed at his figure.

Nevertheless, this man was unperturbed as he stood there and hung his head low. His fringes cast a shadow on his eyes and made sure no one could see his expression.

His saber was at his waist. He clenched the sheath with one hand as the fingers of his other hand wrapped gently around the hilt.

No one dared make a move. The moment this man appeared, all of them could feel a ferocious aura locking onto them. Any movement would be met with the most hostile attack.

The atmosphere was intense. Some cultivators were so nervous that their foreheads were beaded with sweat.

The golden door soon stabilised. Another figure emerged from the door as her Spiritual Power radiated a glow. It was as if she was trying to fend off something. She was none other than Pang Huanyin.

As soon as she retracted her glow, they discovered that she wasn’t alone. There was an elderly man behind her.

Upon entering the Hidden Realm, Pang Huanyin smiled and looked at these people, who appeared too anxious to make a move. “Thanks.”

Their faces twitched, for they didn’t understand why the woman even thanked them. She had barged into the Hidden Realm, but she made it sound like they had opened the door for her.

It was their first time realising that the Palace Master of Purple Star Palace was capable of falsifying the truth like this.

Pang Huanyin turned to look at Lu Ye, who was the first to enter. With a frown, she asked caringly, “Are you alright?”

It wasn’t easy to forcefully open a Hidden Realm’s door. The other party would certainly try to resist it. In that case, they would only alert those from Mount Sumeru.

As such, they couldn’t waste any time when the door was opened. Someone had to take the initiative to restrict the cultivators on the other side.

It was risky to pass through the door before it was stabilised. The wounds on Lu Ye’s body were the price he had to pay.

Their break-in this time was unlike how they left Silver Snake Valley previously. At that time, although the door wasn’t stable enough, the situation was much better. After all, those from the Valley had been getting prepared for quite a while. Therefore, when Lu Ye and Ying Wuji passed through the door, they were not hurt. They only felt slightly dizzy. But the wounds on his body now were unbearable for any other cultivator.

What surprised Pang Huanyin was that Lu Ye’s aura hadn’t weakened one bit. It was as if the wounds didn’t affect him at all.

“I’m fine,” Lu Ye replied and moved his right hand away from the hilt.

The fear that had gripped these cultivators disappeared in an instant. A wary Elder Jiang stared momentarily at Lu Ye before saluting Pang Huanyin. “Palace Master Pang, we’ve informed the Mount Master about your visit. Please wait here for a moment. If he finds out about your arrival, he’ll be pleased.”

He was old and shrewd as he didn’t blame Pang Huanyin and the others for barging into the Hidden Realm. Since it had already happened, any denunciation would be pointless. Moreover, these people were in Mount Sumeru, which was their territory where they had an advantage. The Managers would make a decision as to how to deal with these people, and cultivators like them who were responsible for guarding the door didn’t have to interfere.

Therefore, their task was simple, which was to make Pang Huanyin stay there.

“Alright. I’ll wait for his arrival here,” Pang Huanyin replied.

Since they were already inside the Hidden Realm, they decided to follow their rules. If they insisted on leaving this area, a conflict would ensue.

At the very least, she was pleased that these cultivators were willing to ignore the fact that she had broken into their place.

She looked at her two companions and said, “Elder Xiao, please restore your power. Yi Ye, heal your wounds now.”

She couldn’t call Lu Ye ‘Cultivator Lu’ in front of these people, so she decided to call him by his name.

As for Elder Xiao, it wasn’t easy to forcefully open a Hidden Realm’s door. Although he had a treasure left behind by their ancestors, he had used up most of his energy.

Lu Ye and Elder Xiao nodded. One went somewhere else to restore his power while the other tore his tattered clothes apart and got some water to wash away the blood.

These cultivators could see that Lu Ye had stopped bleeding, and his wounds were healing rapidly. They were astounded.

Meanwhile, Pang Huanyin stood there in silence and felt her surroundings in an attempt to detect a certain someone’s presence, but she soon gave up, for she couldn’t feel anything. She was astonished that Ying Wuji was so masterful at concealment skills.

Lu Ye was the first to barge into the Hidden Realm to divert their attention, followed by Pang Huanyin. She had deliberately activated her power to make some noise and radiate a glow. She wasn’t doing that to show how mighty she was. Instead, she was trying to cover Ying Wuji up.

Ying Wuji entered the Hidden Realm after her, but he instantly concealed his presence and went missing. It was a wonder where he was now.

Anyway, they had discussed the plan prior to coming here, so Pang Huanyin wasn’t worried.

However, she had no idea why Lu Ye insisted on coming to Mount Sumeru. What could he do to force those from Mount Sumeru to take part in the fight against the Corpse Race?

If the people from Mount Sumeru and Silver Snake Valley had wanted to fight the Corpse Race, they would’ve taken action long ago instead of stalling for time.

If the three Hidden Realms could work together, they stood a chance of getting rid of the Corpse Race. Unfortunately, even though those from Purple Star Palace had been working towards that goal for over 1,000 years, they still couldn’t achieve it.

Therefore, Pang Huanyin was hopeful about Lu Ye’s promise and looked forward to what he could do.
