Help all mankind

Chapter 14
The cautious old man asked to visit the high-tech company called by Liang Shicheng before he was willing to pay $3 billion.

This is a reasonable request, but it is something Liang Shicheng has been trying to avoid, because he doesn’t have his own black technology company for the time being.

It is not so easy to get the money. We must find a suitable reason to respond to this request.

However, all this was expected by Liang Shicheng. On his way here, he had already figured out his coping strategy,

”To be honest, not now.

Because I don’t represent our company, I represent the interests of the R & D department in the company. Including this negotiation, it is only the private idea of the R & D department, and the board of directors doesn’t know... ”

Liang Shicheng was not confident in the reason he made up, but it was the only reasonable argument he could think of, so he was nervous.

However, when the translator briefly conveyed his meaning, the old man with white beard laughed, clapped his hands and said:

”That is to say, your R & D department concealed the R & D progress from the shareholders? Good, this style is very Intel. ”

Several representatives around coughed to remind the old man with white beard to pay attention to his identity and image.

It didn’t seem to arouse the other party’s suspicion. Liang Shicheng was relieved and continued to add:

”In short, I don’t want you to go to our shareholders to discuss the acquisition after you know the company’s information.

So in the email, I communicate with you anonymously.

This is our bottom line, that is, you can’t make a savage acquisition. Don’t try to find the registered name of the company through me.

If we really get there, we still have the last weapon, that is, listing. In this way, we will not be short of money, but it means that all the company’s projects must be made public to the public, including synthetic diamond technology, and the situation will be irreparable at that time.

It’s not the best choice for both of us.

In addition, as the negotiator of that company, in fact, I didn’t work in that company, but was entrusted by my friends. Every word I said was arranged by them. I’m just a microphone. ”

In the process of interpreting this passage, the old man with white beard kept a mysterious smile and looked directly at Liang Shicheng with an oppressive temperament, which made him somewhat guilty.

Liang Shicheng doesn’t know what the other party is thinking at the moment, but he can see the attribute values above each of them. However, relying on the current attribute values alone can only know their work efficiency and can’t peep into their hearts.

He thought that if one day he could see other new attributes and judge each other’s ideas, he would have more advantages in negotiation. Now he is a novice without any business experience.

In order not to show his foot, Liang Shicheng plans to lower the negotiation conditions and end the topic as soon as possible,

”Money can be paid in installments. What do you think?”

After a moment of silence, the old man with white beard put forward a new solution.

Although he is unwilling to pay US $3 billion at one time, it is acceptable to pay US $300 million every year. This year’s money can be paid immediately. However, from next year, Liang Shicheng will have to disclose his company’s information to De Beers and announce his new research projects to prove that the company focuses on new technologies, and with the change of prices in the future, Money can continue to rise in the future.

In the face of this new plan, Liang Shicheng resolutely accepted it.

In fact, as the head of the company, the old man with white beard had no doubt about Liang Shicheng’s identity since he saw the sample of the original diamond.

What he has been thinking about is another thing. Compared with the one-time payment of $3 billion a year, De Beers will pay more in the future. That is to say, what he cares about now is not how much money he will eventually spend, but that he hopes to bind the black technology company for a long time and establish a relationship for a long time.

Liang Shicheng has a longer-term plan. He wants more than money, so he puts forward another condition,

”That’s OK, I can accept it, but you have to be more active on other issues.

You know, because of the Wassenaar agreement, many good technologies in Europe cannot be sold to my country.

I hope you can also help on this issue, which is the focus of this cooperation.

You are not required to achieve any goals, but just do your best to help. ”

Hearing this, the old man with white beard looked at the other representatives around him. Seeing that there was no objection, he readily agreed.

Although this additional condition proposed by Liang Shicheng may be more risky to implement in the future, it can increase the dependence of both sides on each other and even indirectly guide the development and research direction of the black technology company.

Moreover, as for the Wassenaar agreement, in fact, it still depends on relations. If Japan and South Korea violate it, they will be severely punished, but if Britain and the United States commit it themselves, they will be dealt with hastily.

The old man with white beard’s confidence in this problem is not without reasons. He has been engaged in ”blood diamond” transactions against humanity in Africa for a long time. They naturally have inextricably linked relations with senior military officials and are well aware of various smuggling channels.

Finally, after negotiation, Liang Shicheng got a fairly satisfactory result, which is also acceptable for De Beers. In the future, Liang Shicheng will have one year to establish a black technology company.

After the successful conclusion of the negotiation, the next thing to consider is the payment method. In order to receive the money, Liang Shicheng has long been ready. If a huge amount of $300 million is remitted directly from De Beers company to his account, I’m afraid it will arouse the suspicion of relevant departments.

So he thought of a safe way. In the past, Liang Shicheng had made some inventions and applied for patents. Finally, no one paid attention to them. He didn’t even get back the money spent when applying for patents, but it will come in handy.

Before he came to London, he copied the front pages of these patents early, marked with key information such as patent number.

Then he handed a stack of such documents to the representatives present and asked them to pay patent fees for the patents on the documents and legally transfer the $300 million in this way.

Sitting on the plane home, Liang Shicheng’s nervous heart finally relaxed and achieved success. He used an abnormal diamond raw stone with failed transmission to win another life for himself and maximize its value, and the diamond raw stone is still in his hands.

It took less than a day to get home smoothly. Liang Shicheng began to plan how to use the $300 million. Suddenly, an idea appeared in his mind.

He turned on his computer and began to search the Internet for information about his company.

Sitting in front of the table, Liang Shicheng has lost his original regret. Now it can be said that it is a blessing in disguise. Things are developing in a better direction than he expected.

At this time, the cat, the initiator of all this, appeared next to Liang Shicheng’s window.

Liang Shicheng immediately opened the window and let it in. Then he took out his mobile phone and dialed a number hidden in the phone book for a long time,

”Hello, is that the owner’s wife of the pet shop?”

”Ah? You are? Oh, I remember. Are you the one who used to come to the store to see the cat?

Are you ready to raise it now? Which one do you like? ”

”I already have cats. I want you to buy some cat food, cat litter, cat litter basin and other toys. Please help me choose some according to the situation,

By the way, the chicken strip that the puppet liked best last time also gave me a pack. ”
