Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 2133: Part 1: Fight Against a Magic Lord

Market City

Auction House

The old man Magic Lord left the auction house. He didn’t inform the old man. The old man Manager’s plan had failed. He might need the help of the Magic Lord to stop the masked man.

But he didn’t know that the Magic Lord had already left the place.

Meanwhile,

The cab reached the destination 20 minutes later. There was heavy traffic, and a massive crowd had gathered at the city gate. A massive fight happening outside had instilled fear in them.

Boom!

I exited the cab and paid the fare to the driver. But I could hear the sounds of fighting clearly. They had to be fighting far away from the city gate.

Yet the sound was reaching here. The driver’s face changed drastically; he was scared. He nodded to me before driving his vehicle away from the place.

Then my attention shifted to the gate. The city guards were having a hard time controlling the people. There were people standing in line both inside and outside the gate.

Seeing that, I started walking up to the gate. As I got closer to the line, the people standing in line turned towards me.

They were wondering who the masked man was. Some grew curious, while a few of them got angry.

When I walked past them, none of them made a sound. Everyone felt the invisible pressure from the masked man. They understood that the masked man was a powerful wizard.

There were Level-9 Wizards in the line. A few among them had been angry earlier, but they were hiding their presence now. They didn’t want to be seen by the masked man.

Upon seeing the reaction of the Level-9 Wizards, the rest of the wizards fell silent. No one said anything to the masked man.

I walked up to the gate. The guards there saw me and wanted to stop me, but I released a slight pressure.

Boom!

Feeling the pressure, the guards’ faces changed drastically. Before they could ask anything, I showed the auction VIP ticket.

After seeing that, the guards understood and opened the gate. The wizards standing in line had been paying attention to the masked man earlier.

They saw the auction house VIP ticket, and they, too, realized the rules.

Creak!

The gate opened. I walked out of the city gate. My gaze swept across the place. No one was fighting outside, but the sounds of fighting were coming from the distance.

Swoosh!

Seeing that, I used my flight ability to move towards the place. In a flash, I appeared in midair and began rushing towards the area.

A mile later,

I saw many figures fighting ahead in the sky. The sound of their fighting had now increased. Not only that, but I saw colorful magic spells in the sky. Each of their attacks was creating mana vibrations in the air.

I told the Zero Puppet to appear at my side. The Zero Puppet, which was in bracelet form, hovered in midair.

”Go and see what’s going on out there,” I said to the Zero Puppet.

Swoosh!

After receiving the command, the red smoke flew towards the fighting area.

I stood in midair, continuing to look in that direction. I didn’t know why, but I thought these people might know about the nations closest to the sea.

Meanwhile,

The old man Magic Lord left the city gate. He had wasted a couple of minutes in the market, and only then did he go to the city gate to check.

When he learned that someone masked with an auction house ticket had exited the gate, he immediately knew it was that young man.

The old man’s eyes flashed with greed. He thought about the old manager’s failure. The young man was a powerful Supreme Wizard.

He was not going to give him time to cast a magic spell. The next second, he departed from the place. His movement created a booming sound in the sky.

Boom!

Everyone who was gathered at the city gate heard the booming sound. They knew that fighting was taking place somewhere else.

Yet they could still hear the sounds of fighting.

It didn’t take long for the old man Magic Lord to get closer to the fighting area. Though he didn’t know the young man’s exact whereabouts, he believed he could be heading in the same direction.

Soon, he saw someone standing in midair.

The figure appeared to be the young man. The old man paused in midair, his eyes flashing with killing intent. He didn’t want to give the young man a chance.

He needed to get closer to cast his magic spell, so he moved through the midair.

[Ding! A Magic Lord’s presence is detected.]

[Ding! The Magic Lord is revealing killing intent towards the host.]

I heard the system’s voice in my mind. The next second, I felt a piercing gaze on my back. I turned around and saw a black dot coming towards me.

My heart turned cold. It had to be that old man Magic Lord. I didn’t expect him to make it at the last moment.

Swoosh!

In a flash, the old man Magic Lord got closer. I thought he would speak, but he raised his hand to cast a magic spell.

A black magic circle appeared in midair.

[Ding! Extreme Danger Detected!]

[Ding! The host needs to get away from the place.]

The system started warning me, but my gaze was locked onto the black magic circle over two meters wide. It was the magic circle of the Magic Lord.

Seeing that, I felt a sense of crisis. I understood that a Magic Lord’s spell attack was extremely powerful.

Next, I saw a massive black arrow. The black arrow was pointing towards me.

On the other hand, the old man Magic Lord was confused. He had already locked onto the target and was about to release it.

But when he saw the young man’s face, he was surprised to the core. He didn’t see any fear or shock on the young man’s face. If it were anyone else, they would have been terrified to the core.
