Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1988: Heading out on a mission

Crystal City

”Master, I heard the conversations of high-level figures from the wizard families. Not everyone is going to the forbidden ruins.”

”Some of them are going to inspect the places which were said to be targeted by the unknown evil force.”

”The others are trying to spy on other forces. They want to get information from them. The Red Tower and the Elemental Magic Towers are being watched by many people,” the Zero Puppet said.

”We will leave the city tomorrow,” I uttered.

”Alright, you continue to monitor the house,” I said to the puppet.

The Zero Puppet then turned into its red smoke form and left through the window. When the puppet left the place, I collected my thoughts.

Then I went to bed to sleep.

The next morning,

After getting out of bed, I did my morning routine. It lasted for more than half an hour. Then I spent an hour practicing the Gravity Ark mental method.

The reward of the super-grade mana stones came as timely help. Then I summoned the status panel.

My gaze fell on the status panel. I started going through my stats. My strength had considerably increased. From a beginner, I was advancing further.

But with the help of the 8-times stacking, I could increase the magic spell output. Then I closed the status panel and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

An hour later,

I appeared in the sitting area. The Zero Puppet was somewhere nearby in its red smoke form. I sat down. Then I summoned the others.

It didn’t take long for everyone to gather in front of me. Patrick, Otto, Hank, and old man Rock sat down opposite me.

Outside the room, the Zero Puppet appeared in its red smoke form. It then entered through a gap and appeared behind the members.

But none of the members could sense it.

On the other hand, I saw the Zero Puppet. I decided to start the discussion.

”We are leaving Crystal City today. I have planned to visit the cities outside the border first. We will see whether anyone from the unknown evil force is present there,” I said to them.

Hearing that, they gained some understanding.

”Master, it’s a good idea. If the enemy is targeting the Mage Union, then their men must have infiltrated the city. They could be spies or attack wizards,” Otto said.

Patrick supported the idea as well.

”It’s a good idea. Usually, hostile forces test enemy forces by probing their defenses. The cities outside the border could become their temporary hideout,” old man Rock said with a slight smile.

He had thought the young man would recklessly enter the Forbidden Ruins like the others.

Hank was listening to them silently as well. After gathering information during the task, he had learned their Master didn’t have a strong background. He came from a humble background.

He had risen to this level on his own. They didn’t have the support required to enter the dangerous ruins. They could only try this method.

”Good,” I said.

Then I stood up and told them to pack their things. We would leave in a few minutes.

10 minutes later,

I was looking at the Zero Puppet in its steel armor form.

”Master, I will protect you. No one can sense me, including the injured bloodline wizard,” the Zero Puppet said.

Hearing that, I raised my eyebrows. Then I gave it some thought before agreeing.

The Zero Puppet turned into its red smoke form. Then I left the room. I put a mask on my face and came down to the ground floor. The others were waiting for me.

The shop and other rooms were closed.

I exited the house and came out to the open land. I brought the Raven Aircraft outside. I opened the cabin and asked the others to get inside.

Patrick, Otto, Hank, old man Rock, the vine monster, and the Crock monster entered the cabin. The two monsters had reduced their size.

Seeing that, my eyes flickered. They had some bloodline improvement compared to before. After they entered, I opened the cockpit and sat in it.

The red smoke appeared and entered the cockpit next.

I closed the door and started the aircraft.

Buzz!

The aircraft rose from the ground. It appeared in mid-air slowly. Then I shifted the gear forward. The aircraft began to move ahead.

Then I set the coordinates to the border. After that, I put the aircraft on autopilot mode. Then I leaned back and took my device out.

I sent a message to Manager Lara stating that I had started my mission. Then I closed the device and turned my attention outside.

The aircraft left Crystal City in a flash. A lot of the hidden eyes who were paying attention were taken aback. They didn’t expect Supreme Wizard Vincent to leave so soon.

They wondered whether it could be related to his mission.
