Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1826 1826: Magic Lord Isabella

Crystal City—Shop

Boom!

Edmund Smith is blocking all the attacks, but he is finding it difficult. Unlike Blake and Rock, he is going on the offensive.

He wants to injure Scott; only in that way can he buy time for the shop owner, Frank.

Boom!

Scott is getting frustrated. He canʼt defeat the person in front of him. Edmund is holding on much longer than he expected.

He is getting impatient. Lord Callum gave his orders, but these people only listened to the orders of the Silver Tower.

On the ground, I saw that neither of them was winning. Itʼs a good thing. Manager Lara should be here soon.

Then I saw Hank coming with someone. My gaze fell on them, and I recognized them as the parents of Rebecca Ethan.

The three of them were coming toward me. I saw Hank and signaled for him to lead them inside the mansion.

Hank nodded his head. Rebeccaʼs parents knew the situation. Itʼs just that I donʼt know whether they can treat the injuries of Magic Lords.

Boom!

An earth-shattering noise sounded the next moment.

I saw Scott detonate a magic artifact in the sky. The impact force struck Edmund. He was caught off guard and hurt.

The force spread everywhere. Fortunately, the wizards here are strong enough to withstand the impact.

When the impact force reached me, I didnʼt move. The force hit my body, and my clothes were torn.

If I had released my mana power, people with discerning eyes would have been able to tell it was Gravity mana.

I looked at the situation in the sky. Edmund was hurt and bleeding. Scott had played dirty; since he couldnʼt use a magic spell, he blew up a magic artifact instead.

The scene was witnessed by many. Everyone was taken aback by the audacity of Magic Lord Scott.

Even the other Flame Elemental members were shocked. They didnʼt expect Magic Lord Scott to use such a method.

But still, it was effective, judging by Magic Lord Edmundʼs condition.

Swoosh!

Magic Lord Scott disappeared from his spot. The next second, he appeared in front of me. He walked up to me with a smile on his face.

He said, ”You donʼt have anyone else to protect you now. It would be good if you show your storage bracelet. I will check it publicly.”

”If there is nothing inside, then I will leave,” Scott added. His tone suggested he was not giving up.

Hearing that, I didnʼt react. If I wanted to, I could show my storage bracelet since the banned item was inside the system space.

But doing so would set a bad example. Next time, anyone might try to force me to do the same thing.

”No, I canʼt let you check me. You donʼt have authority over me. Iʼm not part of the Silver Tower,” I replied.

”Then what about me?” An old female voice sounded all of a sudden.

For a second, I thought it was Manager Lara, but it wasnʼt her. I turned around and saw an old woman wearing gray clothes walking toward me.

”Who is she?”

”When did she appear?” I asked myself.

Magic Lord Scott was taken aback as well, but when he saw her face, he recognized her completely.

”Isabella, what are you doing here?” Scott asked.

He was shocked and surprised because the old woman was from the Silver Tower. She is a Magic Lord. He thought she had come to stop him.

”Isabella?” I thought.

I had never heard the name. I looked at the old woman, then my gaze fell on her badge. My pupils shrank the next second. She is from the Silver Tower, but I felt she had come here with bad intentions.

”Scott, it appears you need help,” Isabella said before her gaze fell on the shop owner, Frank. Her eyes revealed malicious intent.

[Ding! Malicious intent detected]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I wasnʼt surprised, but I knew I was in more trouble. The neighborhood people were shocked; they didnʼt expect someone else to appear now.

”Isabella, I hope you donʼt interfere. Forbidden Wizard Callum told me to check everyoneʼs storage bracelet,” Scott said before turning toward me. ”We suspect shop owner Frank has the banned item with him.”

”Oh? A banned item? That is a serious crime. You dared to accuse a person related to the Silver Tower like that?” Isabella said with a smile.

Hearing that, I knew she was up to something.

”Are you going against Forbidden Wizard Callum? This person is not officially part of your Silver Tower. He is just a relative of your manager,” Scott said to her.

Isabellaʼs eyes flickered. To be honest, she had been nearby. After learning about Crystal City, she had to come.

Crystal City was one of the cities under the Silver Tower; if business were disrupted here, it would affect the Silver Towerʼs revenue.

She then looked toward shop owner Frank. The identity of an appraiser is valuable. Whatʼs more, he is related to Manager Lara.

Manager Lara does not belong to any faction on the surface, but everyone knows she is close to the White Silver Faction.

Isabella made a decision. If the shop owner Frank truly carried a banned item, it would be good news for her Dark Faction within the Silver Tower. Moreover, it wouldnʼt affect the Silver Tower directly.

”Okay, you can check him,” Isabella said all of a sudden.

Magic Lord Scott was surprised. He didnʼt expect her to switch sides at the last moment.

”Ha... Ha... Ha...” Scott let out a laugh. He then turned toward Frank and walked toward him. There were only a few steps between them.

My heart stirred. This old woman spoiled everything. Still, I decided to wait for Manager Lara. She was still close.

”No, Iʼm not going to show you my storage bracelet,” I said once again.

”You...” Scott was pissed off.

Isabellaʼs face changed drastically. She didnʼt expect the shop owner to be so bold. He wasnʼt giving up.

Boom!

She released a small amount of pressure. It struck my body. I retreated a few steps, and my already torn clothes were further damaged.
