Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1807: Reaction of other Magic Towers

Crystal City-Shop

Flame Elemental Tower:

The members of the Flame Elemental Tower were surprised. Everyone, including the Wizard Seeds and the official members, was taken aback by the news.

Interested parties soon dug up more information.

How could they ignore it if the news was related to the Silver Tower?

There had long been a rivalry between the Elemental Towers and the Silver Tower, so it didn’t take long for others to learn the details.

They were surprised to learn that a new appraiser had appeared and that he was a relative of Manager Lara.

They knew the value of an appraiser; this person would bring more influence to the Silver Tower.

It was detrimental to their own business. How could they let it go? However, without orders from the higher-ups, they couldn’t get involved personally.

But the families behind them could act. These people contacted their families, hoping to stop the growth of the shop owner, Frank.

On the other hand, the Green Elemental Tower learned of the news as well. They had long been at odds with the Silver Tower.

Specifically, the official member Vincent Carey had caused them huge losses. But they couldn’t go against him; he had become a member of the White Silver faction.

Instead, they could target other businesses of the Silver Tower. They eyed the appraisal shop as well. There were other Elemental Towers, too, but their hostility was somewhat less compared to the Green Elemental Tower.

...

Black Tower:

If there was any Magic Tower that paid attention to every bit of news related to the Silver Tower, it was the Black Tower. They found out about the appraisal shop as well.

Earlier, they hadn’t paid much attention. But when the Flame Elemental Tower people showed up, they thought it was a fight between the two towers and decided to add oil to the fire.

It was not easy to fool other Magic Towers. They needed information, so they immediately sent a few spy teams to Crystal City.

They needed timely updates to come up with a plan. They wanted to see a fight between the Flame Elemental Tower and the Silver Tower.

...

Silver Tower:

There were people in the Silver Tower contacting Manager Lara regarding the appraisal shop. They wanted to use the help of the shop owner, Frank.

It would be good for their business as well, so they offered protection against the other Elemental Towers.

Knowing that the Flame Elemental Tower was targeting shop, she received business proposals from both the White Silver and Black Silver factions. However, she didn’t respond to any of them.

...

The next morning, I came downstairs. I noticed that customers had arrived. I went to the office and sat in my chair. Patrick and Otto addressed the customers. Seeing that, I leaned back in my chair and began to ponder.

The recent incident posed a serious threat to me. If not for Manager Lara and the others, I would have been greatly injured.

Fortunately, I had Magic Lord Rock. I had thought Supreme Wizards were enough, but Supreme Wizards are weak against Magic Lords.

I needed more Magic Lord-level members, but my strength was not yet sufficient. Once my stats increased further, I would try to subdue another Magic Lord.

After figuring out the plan, I gained clarity in my thoughts. I picked up a device and started watching the online news.

I wanted to know what was happening in Magic City. It didn’t take long for me to see the headlines.

I had underestimated the incident. Online articles were still talking about the confrontation between us and the Tulip Auction House.

But everyone knew it was actually a confrontation between the Silver Tower and the Flame Elemental Tower.

I continued to go through other news.

Creak!

At that moment, someone walked in. It was none other than Otto. Seeing him, I put the device on the desk and looked at him.

”Otto, what happened?” I asked.

”Master Vincent, I need to tell you some important news,” Otto said.

”Sit down,” I replied.

Otto sat opposite me.

”Master, during the Tulip City journey, I collected important information regarding more than just the Tulip Auction House,” Otto said in a serious tone.

Hearing that, I raised my eyebrows in surprise. ”Speak.”

”I heard there are important goods coming to a store from the Dark Territory. The store belongs to the Elemental Factions, but I don’t know which one exactly.”

”After that incident, I believe it belongs to the Flame Elemental Faction. If we could get those goods, it would be helpful to our business. Not only that, but we could exact revenge on them,” Otto said with a smile.

My heart stirred. I was thinking about doing something similar, but I didn’t expect to get an opportunity this fast.

”Alright, tell me more,” I said, becoming interested and asking for further details.

A few minutes later, I summoned the other members and told them about this opportunity.

”Good! We should inflict losses on the Flame Elemental Tower,” Patrick said coldly.

”Master, how can I help?” Hank asked.

”Kid, do you need any help?” Old Man Rock asked.

”Okay, you guys look after the shop. I’ll take care of it. No one else knows my identity, so they will find it hard to identify the attacker,” I told them.

Everyone agreed. Then they dispersed, and I left the office to go to my room to get ready.

Twenty minutes later, I left the shop with Hank. I asked Hank to drop me at the border. We left the community in a flying car.

As the car left the community, it was noticed by others. Spies quickly informed their higher-ups, but this time, the higher-ups did not give orders to follow.

They were afraid of the shop owner, Frank. From the previous incident, it was clear that the appraisal shop was backed by the Silver Tower.

If they recklessly sent spies to collect information, it could backfire. However, something else happened.

While the local forces stopped their actions, spies belonging to outside forces began following the car. They were from other cities- cities under the control of the Elemental Towers.
