Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1678: Close to breakthrough

From MC’s Perspective

The following day,

I woke up early and got out of bed. Then, I casually walked out of the room and came to the hall. My gaze immediately fell on the small-sized vine monster.

My eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

”It has shrunk its size,” I said in my heart.

The monster was completely healed. It was now resting deeply. It didn’t wake up. Then, I started doing my morning routine.

An hour later,

I went back to bed. I sat cross-legged on the ground. Then, I took the super-grade mana stones out.

I held the super-grade mana stones in both of my hands. Then, I closed my eyes and began to run the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

The gravity mana particles from the mana stones entered my body. I started guiding the gravity mana according to the mental method.

After circulation, the gravity mana entered the mana core space. The gravity mana was completely absorbed by the mana core.

Seeing that, I continued repeating the process.

As time passed, I could tell that the mana core was progressing. So, I continued with the practice.

A few hours later,

I felt the burden in my veins. I stopped the practice and opened my eyes. My eyes flashed with surprise.

Then, I thought of the status panel. A status panel appeared in front of me.

My gaze fell on the status panel. Then, I started going through the stats. My stats had already reached the limit except for the mana core progress.

But today, the mana core has progressed as well. It won’t be long before the mana core reaches 100%. Then, I can start attempting the breakthrough.

The Level-10 Stage was also called the Supreme Stage. The magic rules will be powerful and destructive.

I have very little knowledge regarding this matter. But fortunately, Otto and Patrick are here. I can ask them about it.

Once the gravity rule or core progress reaches the next stage, I believe I will get the 10th and last Chapter of the Late Gravity Ancestor.

I had received this Inheritance from the Yellow River Academy. The crippled old man would be surprised if he knew that I had become this much stronger.

Then, I closed the status panel and stood up. Then, I went to the bath to take a shower. I spent the next 20 minutes in the bath before coming out.

I changed into wandering wizard clothes and wore the face mask on my face.

A few minutes later,

I appeared in the hall. My gaze fell on the Vine monster.

”Master,” the Vine monster greeted.

Hearing that, I smiled and recalled the hidden stone chambers.

I turned towards the vine monster and decided to ask about it.

”I want to know about the hidden stone chambers. How did you survive in that place?”

”Who built the stone chambers?” I asked.

The Dark Root Vine Monster was not surprised. It immediately started sharing what it could recall.

I pulled out a chair and sat down. Then, I continued to listen to the precious information.

Outside,

Otto, Patrick, and Hank woke up. They didn’t start their work. They were waiting for their Master to show up.

They had cleared out the 10 rooms. But the 10 rooms were filled with clay figurines of different sizes. The clay figurines were made by the ancient tribes.

But no other things left behind by the ancient tribes were found inside the cave. So, they were waiting for their master to come.

Once he was here, then they would think about the next course of action.

...

Hilltop Base:

Magic Lord Tom returned with a team of wizards. This team of wizards were not ordinary members. They were the higher-ups of their camp.

They would decide whether to share the news with other forces in the alliance. Camps are divided among the forces.

Normally, they should be sharing the news with others. Then they could uncover more truth and explore other places.

But here, they had decided to keep the secret.

Magic Lord Tom told them about the 10th Order Monster’s disappearance. The only eyewitness was the Supreme Wizard Buck.

Buck broke out into a cold sweat upon seeing all the higher-ups here. Suddenly, he felt the gaze of Magic Lord Tom.

”Buck, come forward and tell us everything from the beginning,” Tom said in a stern tone.

Hearing that, Supreme Wizard Buck was taken aback. Then, he collected his thoughts and stepped forward.

He looked at over 10 people. Then, he started telling the experience.

At first, it was the level-9 Wizards who had called for help. When he went to help them out, he came across the hidden rooms.

But one of the hidden rooms had a 10th order plant-type monster. It immediately killed the level-9 Wizards and was about to kill him. He escaped at the last moment.
