Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1664: Threat of locals!

Brookspire Town:

Days passed by.

The local forces made a collective decision to eliminate the outsiders after failing to find them.

They were sending more and more teams to Brookspire Town. Even the townspeople were confused.

They didn’t know why there was a sudden influx of people. The guards recognized that these people were from the local forces, so they reported it to the Town Head.

But the Town Head was already aware of this matter. The forces behind them belonged to one of the local factions.

He knew about the plan to eliminate the three outsiders. It was most important to them. So, the Head told the guards to ignore them.

As time went by, more and more teams entered the forest. They began searching the whole forest, but they had yet to find any results.

It made the forces behind them restless.

...

From MC’s Perspective

In the hideout, we were discussing today’s report. Over the past few days, we have worked hard to collect information.

From the information, it was evident that there were ruins inside the deeper part of the forest. It was time to make a decision on whether to go deeper or not.

I looked at them and asked, ”What do you guys think?”

”Should we go to the deeper area?” I added.

Otto said, ”Master, there are people looking for us. Their numbers are increasing day by day.”

A hint of seriousness appeared in my eyes.

It was becoming clearer why the outside forces were looking for us. They had made up their minds to eliminate us.

Otto had heard everything a few days ago. But I was not interested in killing. If I started to eliminate them, then they would send more people.

In one way or another, it would expose my identity and whereabouts. Compared to the locals, the forces in the Magic City were more dangerous.

Patrick and Otto noticed their Master’s reaction. They understood the Master was in deep thought. They could guess a thing or two.

The forces outside were looking for them. If they came across them, then a fight would definitely occur.

Then, they might not be able to remain low-key.

Patrick then thought of something and said, ”Master, why don’t we look for another hideout deeper in?”

”Maybe we could find the ruins before them,” he added.

Hearing that, I continued to remain silent.

Because I was more worried about the mysterious forest than the local forces here.

”Okay, let’s explore their bases first,” I said to them.

Patrick and Otto agreed to the plan.

On the other hand, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. I began to get refreshed.

About 20 minutes later,

I came to the bed and lay down to rest. Then I started to think about the next day’s plan. It had been several days since we arrived here.

We had collected more information about the local forces, but there was no information about the magic forest.

I had this feeling that I would find out something once we went deeper inside the forest.

The following day,

I woke up first. I got out of bed and started doing my morning routine. The routine ended in one hour.

Then, I appeared in the middle of the hall. I sat cross-legged on the ground. I closed my eyes and started running the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

I could already see the gravity mana. Then I focused on that gravity mana. One after another, the gravity mana particles entered my body.

Then I started to guide the mana particles according to the mental method. After circulation, the gravity mana entered the mana core space.

The mana core was absorbing the pure mana. I continued to repeat the process.

2 hours later,

I ended the practice and started paying attention to the forbidden runes. The gravity rule had reached the limit. It wouldn’t increase again unless I broke through.

So, I wanted to increase my understanding of the Forbidden Chapter.

Time went by,

I ended the practice an hour later. Then I opened my eyes and thought of the status panel.

The status panel appeared in front of my eyes. Then my gaze immediately fell on the core progress.

Seeing that it had increased by 1%, my eyes flashed with satisfaction. The core progress was difficult.

But I did the daily practice non-stop. Because of it, I was able to gain some progress. Then I went through other stats before closing the status panel.

Then I opened my eyes and stood up. I went to get ready.

About 20 minutes later,

I appeared outside. Patrick and Otto were already ready. Then the three of us vacated the hideout. We came outside.

Then we confirmed the direction and started going deeper into the area. Otto was doing his magic. If there were any wizard groups near, then we would change direction.
