From MC’s Perspective:

The Forbidden Area 808,

After taking a look at the forest, I started walking along the narrow road. This time I don’t know whether the tree monster would dare to attack me during the day.

As the time passes, I’m getting closer to the entrance of the forbidden area. But the dense cover of the forests has started to block the daylight as well.

It’s a sign that the coming area would be more dangerous.

[Ding! Warning]

[A 9th Order Forest Worm has spotted the host.]

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. When I heard it was the worm monster. My eyes flashed with disbelief.

I paused my footsteps and started looking around. Out of all the monsters, I didn’t expect the worm monster to be lurking here.

Swoosh!

From the dense forest cover. A shadow appears beside the huge tree. For a second, I mistook it for a tree branch moving because of the wind.

But things have changed as I started looking at things closely. It’s not a tree branch but the body of the actual worm monster.

Compared to the worm monsters that I had faced before. This one had perfect camouflage. The body was covered with green skin and spikes.

The green color matches with the color of the leaves growing on the trees here. An almost 22ft tall worm monster is looking at me with its smaller eyes.

I don’t know what other monsters are roaming in the vicinity. The fight will definitely attract them. So, I thought about using the flight ability to flee from the place.

Swoosh!

The next second, I started moving in mid air.

The Forest Worm Monster was stunned. It didn’t expect the little prey to flee.

The huge body of the worm monster moved. It started following the prey from the other side.

On the other hand, while fleeing the system warning continues to sound in my mind.

It means the forest worm is chasing me from behind. At the same time, I’m glad that I made the right decision. I don’t want to waste energy by fighting here.

Swoosh!

The Green Worm Monster is dashing out while chasing the prey. But its huge body has uprooted every green vegetation on the spot.

The quiet dense forest which was quiet has become noisy all of a sudden. The speed and movement of the green worm monster is creating a lot of noise.

This must have alerted other monsters as well. As the time passes, I’m continuing to flee in the mid air. At the same time, I’m hearing the system warning.

This time a new system warning sounded in my mind.

Hearing that my expression turned grave. I immediately cast the 6th stage of the magic spell.

“Repulsive Force”

The next second, a powerful force emerges from my body. The repulsive force spreads across everywhere.

Boom!

In a flash, something appears in front of me a few metres away. But it was struck by the repulsive force.

Then I saw what it was. It was a 9th Order flying type centipede over 15ft tall in front of me. Seeing that my heart set off storms.

Tud!

The Flying Centipede crashed on the ground. But it was not severely injured. Because the scales of flying type centipedes were hard.

The repulsive force has only caused some scratch.

On the other hand, I landed on the ground as well. Hereafter, I would walk on foot. The Flying Centipede might have been attracted by the forest worm monster.

Boom!

The Forest Worm Monster has appeared this time. It’s now standing behind me. Then there is a flying type centipede in front of me.

I noticed that the flying type centipede is stronger than I expected. It might be closer to the 10th order monster. Otherwise, it would have got injured right now.

Swoosh!

The Forest Worm Monster and the Flying type Centipede move at the same time. Seeing that both of them are attacking at the same time.

“Gravity Domain”

I cast a 6th stage of the magic spell. But this time the magic spell is different. A black sphere appears all of a sudden.

It enveloped both the monsters inside the sphere. The next second, the body of both the monsters freezes at the same spot.

Inside the dark sphere, both the monsters tried to use their ability. But their magic abilities were blocked. They can’t even move their body.

The Flying Centipede, which has a strong body, was also trapped. Its body was strong. But it was all towards the defensive ability.

It doesn’t have an offensive ability except the poison. But inside the domain the magic abilities won’t work. So it got trapped now.

Similarly, the Forest Worm is feeling trapped. It has dangerous corrosive saliva. But it can’t even open its mouth right now.

As the time passes, the gravity power begins to act. The powerful gravitational force starts acting on the body of the monsters.

Even the defensive body of the flying centipede begins to crack under continuous pressure. Earlier, the repulsive force magic attack was one strike.

Now the gravity domain is a constant ability. As long as there is a constant supply of mana. The spell won’t run out of the oil.

As the time passes, the blood starts leaking from the body of two monsters. It slowly forms a massive pool around their own body.

A few minutes later,

The two massive sized 9th Order Monsters lying on the ground. A large amount of blood has already dyed the path.

I used the system to probe their health stats. The system says they only have a small amount of vitality. Seeing that I canceled the magic spell and left the two monsters to die there.

Swoosh!

Then I used the flight ability to travel in the mid air. I want to enter the forbidden area before the evening time.

Time passed,

Before the evening time. I reached the end of the narrow road. But the dense forest cover is still covering the area in front of me.

It’s just that it was different than before. There is no path ahead. It appears that earlier explorers had traveled by using their own means.

Then I took the map out to figure out the next steps. I unfolded the cloth map and saw the black ink drawing again.

I saw the end of the road was nothing but the start of the Forbidden Area. The place of the ancient battlefield lies in the core area.

The size of the Forbidden Area was so fast. The core area alone can contain many cities. Though my aim was not to explore the place but to find the wanted criminal.

There are some areas marked on the map which are said to be somewhat habitable inside the forbidden area. There are chances for the wanted criminal to be hiding there.

My gaze fell on the nearest habitable area marked on the map. I think it’s better to explore the place first.

If I could find any survivors there, then I could collect information from them.

Then I looked around and found out there is still some daylight. I think it’s better not to waste time.

Swoosh!

I put the map back in the storage bracelet. Then I started moving forward. I flew above the dense forest cover.

As the time passes, I’m moving in the direction of the nearest habitat.

[Ding! Warning!]

[A movement of the wizard was detected ahead.]

A mechanical voice sounded in my mind. Hearing I paused in the mid air. I didn’t expect to meet a survivor here.

Swoosh!

Then I landed on the ground. I used the system to find the location of the wizard.

The system says that the wizard is weak and fragile. He is hiding inside a small underground shelter.

Hearing that I sighed in relief. I thought that person was someone powerful. Yet the wizard is close to death.

But I have decided to find shelter during the day.

Swoosh!

So I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. Then I went to bed to sleep.

The following day,

After getting ready, I appeared outside. I immediately used the system to check the place. The result was the same. At the same time, I used the system to probe my surroundings.

The system says that there aren’t many monsters around me. So I can safely move ahead.

Then I started moving towards the shelter. In the blink of an eye, I crossed several meters. After crossing a few more distances, I finally came to a spot.

It was an underground shelter. But the top cover was occupied by overgrown bushes and vegetation.

A hint of hesitation appeared in my eyes. If someone was so daring to live inside the Gregor Mansion, then he must be powerful.

I used the system again to check for any traps. The system gave a positive answer. Like I had guessed, there is a dangerous trap inside.

If any one opens the cover, then he would be attacked by the trap.

Then I thought maybe the wanted criminal could be hiding here. I should not leave this place without checking the underground shelter.
