Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

Hearing the old woman’s words. I was shocked internally.

“Wanted Criminal?”

“Wanted by whom?” I asked her.

The old woman said, “Theo Bernard is one of the enemies of our Fate Wizard. He is a Supreme Wizard. His magic is weird.”

“If you come across him, don’t take too much time,” he added.

“Supreme Wizard,” I said in my heart.

No wonder they were afraid. Is it because of the Supreme Wizard? But I have decided to ask them again.

“Then why are guys afraid?” I asked the old woman.

The old woman was stunned and looked at the other staff.

Even the Guard’s old man has become silent. As if the name had reminded him of a bad memory. The other staff are wondering whether to tell them or not.

The old woman said, “The reason we are afraid. It’s because Theo Bernard is hiding in one of the forbidden areas in our Dark Territory.”

Quiet!

The forbidden area words have made everyone quiet. My heart set off storms. I had thought there could be many reasons.

But I never thought they were scared because of the forbidden area. Then I collected my thoughts and asked them about the forbidden area.

I had the experience of visiting one. I wanted to know the forbidden area they are talking about.

The old woman said, “The way to the Forbidden Area is below Peak City. There are many Forbidden Areas in our Dark Territory.”

“But the one behind us was part of an ancient battlefield as well. So it’s a mixed place. It makes it more dangerous.”

“Theo Bernard was said to be hiding in safe hideouts. It’s not going to be easy to find him. So take your time. Only if you bring back his decapitated head and mana core, you can get the appointment,” the old woman added.

Hearing that I nodded to her. Then I asked a few other things before leaving the stone place. The old guard is accompanying me to the exit.

“I don’t know what to say. Not many have returned alive from the Forbidden Area. If you were able to complete the task, then you will become famous in the whole Dark Territory,” The old man said.

Hearing that I smiled and thanked the old man. We reached the gate. I nodded to the old man before going back to the hotel.

I was able to get the task. Next, I have to report to the Silver Tower. But I haven’t found a way. The communication here was cut off. You can’t contact others without magic.

After taking a rest in the hotel room, I’m going to look for messaging services.

Soon, I returned to the hotel room. I spent an hour lying on the bed to take a nap. Then I walked out of the hotel a few minutes later.

I started asking around the people near me to collect information. From them, I came to learn that there are people representing various forces who live here.

Hearing that I hesitated. Apart from the Silver Tower, I didn’t know about the others. I don’t think it’s good to contact others.

After giving some thought, I have decided to enter the forbidden area tomorrow morning. So I visited a nearby magic store to collect information about that forbidden area.

I wanted a map at least. But the store manager was shocked after hearing my request. Not that many who come to Willow Peak City go to the Forbidden Area behind them next.

But the Manager knew the customer must be an important person. Only wizards from an influential force would go to explore such a dangerous place.

So he brought the latest map to the customer.

“It’s the latest map of the Forbidden Area 808 behind us. The details were up-to-date. We had gathered information from explorers,” The manager said.

“Forbidden Area 808?”

“What does it mean by 808?” I asked the manager.

The manager said,” The 808 represents the number of the ancient battlefield. There are thousands of ancient battlefields in our world.”

Hearing that my eyes flickered with an understanding. Then I continued to ask about the forbidden area. The manager seems to be knowledgeable.

He had contacts with explorers before.

About 20 minutes later,

I walked out of the shop with a smile on my face. I got a quiet idea about the battlefield. This forbidden area won’t be as dangerous as the previous one.

Because I had witnessed the existence of the unknown monster before. I don’t think such an existence is hidden in this forbidden area.

Then I returned to the hotel room a few minutes later.

…

Silver Tower:

Forbidden Wizard Charlotte contacted Elder Dana. She was worried about Vincent Carey. But Elder Dana told her that she has her own eyes and ears in the Dark Territory.

There is no need to be afraid. Hearing that Charlotte heaved a sigh of relief. She knew no other wizard seeds would dare to enter the Dark Territory alone.

Even the wizard seeds have a powerful background in the mage union. Yet that kid has gone to such a place.

She couldn’t help but wonder whether anything that scares Wizard Seed Vincent Carey.

She is also paying attention to Vincent Carey’s enemy here. Especially the Black Tower. There is no movement from the Black Tower so far.

Ever since that announcement was made. No one was bothering the Silver Tower anymore. She knows it won’t be long before the trouble continues.

On the other hand, the Black Tower’s Forbidden Wizard Remi is looking for Vincent Carey. He has been keeping an eye on the Silver Tower.

But so far there was no news about Vincent Carey. Forbidden Wizard Remi thinks that either Vincent Carey was hiding inside the Silver Tower or he was living somewhere.

Unfortunately, there is no way to obtain the news. He can only patiently wait for Vincent Carey to come outside. Only then can he think about a plan to kill that kid.

…

The following day,

I left the hotel. I started going to the store to refill some supplies. I don’t know how long it would take me to find the wanted criminal.

Soon, I visited a magic store and started shopping. I’m buying healing potions and other necessary potions. For example, to protect myself from the poisonous miasma.

By taking lessons from the previous experiences. I’m buying necessary items to save myself from the corrupt evil mana. The corrupt evil mana is more dangerous than any poison.

I learnt a painful lesson from the previous forbidden area. It had almost put me to death. So I’m not going to repeat the same mistakes again.

After learning from the manager yesterday, I’m buying a few other necessary items as well. It didn’t take me long to complete the purchase.

About 20 minutes later,

I reached the exit. I stood behind the queue. One by one people were leaving the city. My gaze wanders around. I found new travellers entering the city as well.

I was like them. Now I’m leaving the city. When my turn came. An Artefact power passes through me. Seeing that there was nothing wrong. The guard allows me to leave.

I left the place and came to a random tree. Under the tree, I decide to check out the map. I took the map from the storage bracelet.

The map is made up of special cloth. I opened the map and saw a neatly drawn map. The map has terrain drawings and marked places.

They were done in black ink. It looked beautiful. Then I began to go through the map. I’m looking at the area around Willow Peak City.

There is a narrow road that leads to the Forbidden Area. But this narrow road was in the middle of the forest. Willow Peak City was the last. There were no other cities behind it.

Then I began to memorise a few checkpoints. After reaching that place, I will look at the map again.

I put back the map inside the storage bracelet and started heading towards the narrow road. When I walked past the city. There was no one apart from me.

The place is empty. I found the sudden change shocking. I had thought there would be some guards around this place.

Because the narrow road leads to the Forbidden Area. But I guess the forbidden area itself is dangerous for those who want to go there and die unless there is a specific reason like me.

Then I collected my thoughts and continued to head towards the narrow road. After walking for a couple of hundred metres, I reached the narrow road.

The narrow road is not a proper road but a yellow sand road. There is not even a signboard, is there? I stood there and started to observe the place.

I’m wondering whether anyone is going apart from me. After a few minutes, I found there was no one here. Seeing that I have decided to walk.
