Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 4 Survival Guide

Chapter 4 Survival Guide
Due to the temperature problem on the island, if Lin Feng designed the wooden house airtight, when the temperature rises the next day, it will be a steamer here.

At that time, the temperature inside the house might be higher than outside, and the house he used to escape the heat would be useless.

Therefore, Lin Feng had to try first to see if the demolished wooden wall could be recycled.

If he can’t, he will have to redesign the construction method and set aside a place to escape the heat during the day.

If possible, Lin Feng built it according to the original method, and removed the wooden wall during the day to ensure ventilation, and then pushed it back at night to prevent the wind.

The first wooden wall was installed, and then Lin Feng chose to remove it on the interface of the construction tool hammer.

In the next second, the wooden wall disappeared, and at the same time there was another wooden wall in the inventory.

Seeing that the wooden walls were recyclable, Lin Feng felt relieved and began to lay wooden walls and ceilings according to the pre-designed pattern.

In less than a minute, Lin Feng finished laying all the wooden walls.

Looking at his wooden house, Lin Feng was very satisfied. This will be his future home.

Enter the house, and then put the prepared bonfire in the middle of the empty space, so that the interior ’decoration’ is completed.

But looking at the bonfire that had been set up, Lin Feng felt a little worried, how should this thing be lit?

Is it possible that he should drill wood to make fire?
This seems to be the only possibility under the current situation where there is no fire source to ignite, so Lin Feng went to the campfire and picked out two wooden sticks from it.

He was about to use these two sticks to see if he could rub out a flame, when two prompts popped up on the campfire.

【Light the fire / Extinguish the fire】

[You can add wood to the campfire to delay the burning time, add up to four parts, and one part of wood can burn for up to eight hours. (2/4)]

Good guys, it turns out that bonfires can light and extinguish themselves.

Lin Feng decisively chose to ignite it to see the effect.

After confirming, white smoke began to float continuously from the bonfire, followed by a little spark, followed by a burst of flames.

As the flame continued to expand, the fire soon began to burn fully.

The white smoke raised by combustion is discharged from the designed ventilation port.

After setting up the bonfire, the construction of this wooden house can be regarded as completed.

Sitting on the wooden board beside the fire, listening to the crackling sound of burning wood, Lin Feng let out a long sigh of relief.

”Huh, An Yi...”

Such a peaceful atmosphere made Lin Feng confused for a moment whether he was on vacation or trying to survive.

If this is a survival that can return, Lin Feng is willing to treat this survival as a vacation, but now there is no hope of returning to Blue Star.

Although Lin Feng didn’t quite understand why there would be ’someone’ who put all the Blue Stars here, it was certainly not a simple battle to let them survive on the island.

But what can they do now?He Lin Feng, they human beings, can only follow the meaning of this ’human’ to survive on this island.

”Hey, to survive in this place where the birds don’t shit, food and drink are all randomly delivered by the sea...”

Thinking of this, Lin Feng suddenly sat up.

”No, it’s too unreliable to salvage wooden boxes. We have to find a way to be self-sufficient on the island.”

While thinking about the next plan, Lin Feng prepared this dinner for himself.

Taking out the metal can left at noon, Lin Feng added some water to it and put it beside the fire.

At the same time, open the canned lunch meat and put it together for heating.

Although these can be eaten without heating, Lin Feng wanted to eat something warm to make himself more comfortable.

After dinner, Lin Feng routinely opened the chat interface to take a look to see if he had any inspiration.

With an afternoon of cooling down, many people are not so panicked.

And there are still some people in the chat room repeatedly swiping a survival guide.

Lin Feng was very interested in this survival guide, and immediately scrolled back to the chat history to check it carefully.

”In order to ensure that we can survive, we try our best to follow the instructions in the guide.”

”One person can send up to ten messages a day. I hope that everyone can try to copy the content of the guide and refresh the screen so that more people who need it can see it.”

”Guideline [-]: In the absence of food, try to maintain your physical strength and water. At the same time, sea water cannot be drunk, sea water cannot be drunk, sea water cannot be drunk, and important things are said three times!”

”Guideline [-]: The island is hot during the day and the temperature will definitely turn cooler at night. Choose a suitable hole in the center of the island to shelter you from the wind and keep warm at night. The depth should be [-] to [-] centimeters; if there is extra wood, you can Make a fire to keep warm.”

”Guideline [-]: Don’t panic when salvaging wooden crates, try to be optimistic about the direction of wooden crates flowing, and prepare for interception in advance, which can greatly increase the quantity obtained.”

……

There are a total of twelve survival guides, each with hints and suggestions that are important for those who are short on food and supplies.

Two of them are also very important to Lin Feng. These two guidelines teach him how to swim and how to deal with danger in the water.

After reading the guide, Lin Feng hurriedly finished his dinner and went to the beach to practice swimming again according to the content of the guide.

Soaking in the water, Lin Feng recalled the tutorials in the guidebook.

Inhale, lower your head, straighten, swing your arms, exhale, raise your head...

After recalling the entire operation, Lin Feng took a deep breath and jumped directly into the water.

Lower your head, straighten, swing your arms, exhale...

”Grrrrrrrrrrr...”

”Pfft, cough, cough, cough...”

Following the guide, Lin Feng sank directly into the sea like a stiff corpse after entering the water.

Lin Feng, who hadn’t reacted yet, took a few mouthfuls of sea water. Fortunately, the water was not deep, so he stood up after struggling a bit.

Otherwise, he would have to explain here today. After one failure, Lin Feng tried two more times.

Without any accident, they all failed. With the lesson learned from the first time, Lin Feng didn’t choke much sea water in the next two times.

But now the sky is getting dark, and the next time will not be easy to practice, so I can only give up temporarily.

Lin Feng looked up at the sky, at this time the sun in the sky had already started to set slowly.

Walking back to the hut, he sat at the door and enjoyed the warm sea breeze. Lin Feng looked at the setting sun in the west.

The setting sun dyed half of the sky fiery red, and even the sea surface was also a layer of bright red.

It was also the first time for him to see such a magnificent sunset.

In this way, Lin Feng watched the sun completely disappear on the horizon before returning to the house.

Back in the house, Lin Feng lay on the board and looked at other people’s chat records.

There are no other entertainment activities now, and being able to watch other people chatting to pass the time is already a good choice.

If it weren’t for this chat, he would have been really suffocated.

Looking at the boring chat records, Lin Feng always felt that he seemed to have forgotten something, but he couldn’t remember it for a while.

Since he couldn’t remember, he didn’t bother anymore.

Watching the boring chat, Lin Feng’s drowsiness gradually increased, and he closed his eyes and fell asleep in a daze.

I don’t know how long it has passed, but a thunderclap woke him up from his sleep.
