GILF Hunter

Chapter 173: 173 His Women

Lord Dale sat at the table in the lord’s mansion with tension all over him.

The place where the lord and his family ate, and where guests were received.

Because it was a mage family, banquets were held quite frequently.

That was why the hall was decorated quite extravagantly overall.

And today, he had given special instructions to pay even more attention.

He had gone out of his way to add all kinds of luxurious decorations and interior touches.

He had been thorough with every other preparation as well.

After all, the Great Witch herself was visiting.

It was the first time in not just the history of mage families, but in all of human history.

If anything caught her eye the wrong way or upset her, it would be disastrous.

To Dale, the hall he had prepared looked truly satisfactory.

Even nobles with high standards would have no choice but to acknowledge it.

But no matter how much effort he put in, compared to the women sitting before him, everything paled in comparison.

’Why the hell did four women come?’

And every single one of them was a jaw-droppingly glamorous beauty, each one in a billion.

On top of that, their status and abilities were all astronomically high.

Even his wife and daughter, the host family, looked slightly intimidated.

Their looks were nothing to scoff at anywhere, and they had met plenty of nobles...

But even then, they had never seen this many top-class beauties at once.

’I never predicted a situation like this.’

It wasn’t just that there were many guests.

Since the Great Witch was coming, he had expected some entourage.

Maids to attend to her, or perhaps other witches accompanying her.

Even so, the current situation was completely outside expectations.

How the hell did a guy living in the Witch Territory bring an elf?

And that red-haired woman was apparently a dragon.

A dragon straight out of fairy tales!

’...If she felt like it, she could wipe out a territory like this anytime.’

He wanted to think she wouldn’t actually do it.

But because of what he had done in the past, he couldn’t help feeling uneasy.

He resentfully glared at Karl, who had brought these absurd guests without any explanation.

”Medea, are you alright? You look a little uncomfortable.”

”I’m not very used to places like this. I was originally in the position of standing and serving.”

”Just relax. Today you’re here as my guest and as Circe’s adopted daughter.”

”Hmm... seeing your shameless face does make me feel a bit better.”

It wasn’t just that he had somehow brought honored guests.

Karl looked intimately close with every single one of the women there.

The elf was even more proactively talking to Karl.

You could feel that the dragon was completely at ease with Karl too.

’I have no idea what he did to get to know women like this. Or what the hell he’s planning to do here.’

Was he planning to show off his military might and steal the lordship?

For now, he had to do what he was supposed to do to avoid giving them any leverage.

”Thank you again for coming all this way. I am Dale Mars, the one governing the Mars Territory.”

He had already given a brief introduction earlier, but it was necessary to do it again.

At a banquet, it was etiquette for the host to introduce their side first.

”This is my wife Creusa, and my daughter Leda.”

”Hello, I am Creusa.”

”I am Leda. It is an honor to meet the great witch and her companions.”

They were a little nervous, but they greeted without issue.

Creusa, who had prepared, continued.

”We are truly grateful that you visited our territory today. We haven’t been able to greet you properly until now, so I can’t express how happy I am that you came in person. Though it may be lacking, we will do our best to make your time comfortable.”

”Oh my. Not at all. We’re the ones who came in a big group, so we’re sorry. It will be a short stay, but please take care of us.”

The Great Witch spoke far more calmly and politely than her image suggested.

Her voice was beautiful, as though woven from morning dew by fairies.

”Ah, these are necklaces made by our witch clan. I brought them as gifts, so please accept them, both of you.”

”Y-Yes? That’s too much! We should be the ones giving you something. Such precious and expensive items...”

”It’s fine. Compared to the price of taking away such an excellent talent as Karl, it’s nothing. In our Witch Territory, these aren’t even that expensive, so please accept them comfortably.”

”A-Ah, then...”

Refusing a guest’s gift was also impolite, so his wife had no choice but to accept.

Her face clearly looked burdened.

It was because the necklaces contained jewels of immense value and craftsmanship that was simply unreal.

Even the most expensive thing Creusa, the lord’s wife, owned was nothing compared to these necklaces.

’Giving away things like that as mere gifts...’

Did that mean the witch race was that wealthy?

Or was she genuinely trying to get along?

Either way, it was an extraordinary gift.

’But seeing her put so much thought into it... maybe the Great Witch is actually a good person?’

He had sent Karl off expecting a 300-year-old hag with white hair and face filled with wrinkles and body crooked but...

He never imagined she would be such an elegant and kind beauty.

’That woman is the Great Witch and Karl’s wife...’

Mysterious purple hair that reached her waist was impressive.

Overall, she was a woman to whom the words ”good style and beautiful” could not fit more perfectly.

It wasn’t just outstanding looks.

Being the Great Witch meant she was the most skilled in magic among all witches.

The elegance that came from that composure even let him feel a superhuman lifespan.

How did Karl manage to live an ordinary daily life with such a mystical woman as his wife?

’Just one woman like that would be the star of any party. And there are several more.’
