Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Karshev: ”...”

Other Interstellar War Correspondents: ”...”

Everyone was in shock, more than 100 billion times the speed of light?

Doesn’t this mean that the speed of diffusion for this ”gaseous membrane” could reach over 3,000 light years per second?

How is that possible!

Isn’t it impossible for anything in the Cosmos to have a diffusion speed so much faster than the speed of light?

Karshev and the other interstellar war correspondents’ first reaction was that the Blue Eggplant Interstellar War Correspondent must have gotten the number wrong.

So, Karshev, somewhat bewildered, said: ”How much? Did you just say the diffusion speed of this ’gaseous membrane’ is how many times the speed of light? Over 100 billion times? You must have misspoken, could it be 1,000 times the speed of light?”

”Yeah.”

”How could there be something so much faster than the speed of light?”

”Even if you said 1,000 times the speed of light, I’d be skeptical, and yet you said 100 billion times?”

The other interstellar war correspondents also thought the Blue Eggplant Interstellar War Correspondent had made a mistake.

Blue Eggplant Interstellar War Correspondent smiled wryly and said: ”I didn’t give an accurate number just now, just vaguely mentioned it.”

Karshev sighed with relief: ”I thought so, there’s no way something could be so terrifyingly fast, 100 billion times the speed of light? It’s almost unimaginable!”

Another interstellar war correspondent, covered in spikes, resembling a porcupine, laughed and said: ”Exactly, it must be 1,000 times the speed of light.”

Another interstellar war correspondent with smooth, jade-like red skin said: ”Even 1,000 times the speed of light is quite exaggerated.”

The other correspondents nodded in agreement.

What does 1,000 times the speed of light mean?

That’s a staggering 300 million kilometers in a second!

At that speed, it would take less than nine Earth hours to cross a light-year.

They were calculating it initially.

But when they calculated that crossing a light-year would take less than nine Earth hours, something felt off.

Soon, they realized what was wrong.

Blue Eggplant Interstellar War Correspondent glanced at the crowd and said solemnly: ”The diameter of the Small Magellanic Cloud is 7,000 light-years. If the speed were 1,000 times the speed of light, how could it be destroyed in an instant?”

Exactly!

In less than a blink of an eye, they saw a massive ”gaseous membrane” appear, and all the stars and planets within the Small Magellanic Cloud vanished.

If the diffusion speed of the ”gaseous membrane” was only 1,000 times the speed of light, even if calculated from when that Heaven-Shocking Demon God appeared and created the ”gaseous membrane,” it seems it would be more than 1,000 times the speed of light.

Karshev furrowed his brow and asked, a bit incredulously: ”Could it... really be 100 billion times the speed of light?”

Another interstellar war correspondent, resembling a bronze sculpture, paused and said: ”It seems only 100 billion times the speed of light could explain why all the stars and planets in the Small Magellanic Cloud disappeared shortly after the Heaven-Shocking Demon God appeared. But why did you say the number was wrong earlier?”

The other interstellar war correspondents were also baffled, casting puzzled glances toward the Blue Eggplant Interstellar War Correspondent.

”Indeed, it’s not 100 billion times the speed of light.” Blue Eggplant Interstellar War Correspondent confirmed his earlier statement, then definitively said the accurate number: ”The true figure should be 110.376 trillion times the speed of light. If you must describe it with the speed of light, the diffusion speed of that ’gaseous membrane’ is approximately 3,500 light-years per second!”

Whoa!

A diffusion speed of 3,500 light-years per second?

Could such material diffusion speed appear in the Cosmos?

Karshev was stunned!

The porcupine-like interstellar war correspondent’s eyes widened like saucers!

The bronze sculpture-like interstellar war correspondent’s mouth dropped so wide it could fit a fist!

And the countless other interstellar war correspondents, each and every one of them, were so shocked they were beyond recognition!
