Chapter 680: The Correct Way to Wake Someone Up

Early the next morning, when Song Qingshu woke up, he reached out to the side and found the bed empty. The beauty had already left, leaving him feeling somewhat lost.

Thinking of the passionate night before, Song Qingshu couldn’t help but smile. It had been a long time since he had felt so refreshed. That Madame Tang was not only soft and delicate but also full of vitality—truly a w0man among w0men, an exquisite treasure in bed. He couldn’t understand what her husband was thinking, always being absent whenever he visited. Leaving such a charming wife alone at home was simply wasteful. As the saying goes, those who are capable should do more work. Since her husband was away, he might as well take on the responsibility of tending to this fine field.

“Song Qingshu, oh Song Qingshu, mind your morals…” he muttered to himself. Thinking about how he had treated a noblewoman like a mere plaything last night, even he felt a little embarrassed.

Creak—

The door suddenly opened, and a graceful figure walked in, carrying a basin of fresh water. Seeing Song Qingshu sitting on the bed looking at her, the woman—who had been married for years—unexpectedly showed a hint of girlish shyness.

“Young Master, allow me to help you get up,” she said softly.

Today, Madame Tang wore a form-fitting silk gown that accentuated her v0luptuous curves. A faint blush lingered on her charming face, and even Song Qingshu, who had seen countless beauties, had to admit—this w0man was truly a rare gem!

As she bent down to place the water basin beside the bed, her fair skin peeked through her r0be, revealing traces of red marks left by last night’s passi0n. Seeing this, Song Qingshu’s heart burned with satisfaction—these were his hard-earned trophies.

Noticing his gaze, Madame Tang looked down, then playfully scolded, “Young Master, after what you did to me last night, how am I supposed to face others today?”

Song Qingshu couldn’t help but chuckle. “You’ve already gone out early in the morning, changed your clothes, and even brought water in. Who knows how many people you’ve seen already? Yet, you don’t seem embarrassed at all.”
Madame Tang twisted a towel in her hands and smiled sweetly. “Young Master, it’s time to get up.”

Song Qingshu grinned. “Madame, that’s not the right way to wake someone up.”

“Oh? Then how should I do it?” she asked, tilting her head in curiosity.

Song Qingshu beckoned her closer, signaling for her to bend down. As she leaned in, he whispered in her ear, “Like this…”

Madame Tang’s face turned bright red. She shot him a sideways glance and pouted, “I never thought Young Master was such a rogue~”

“We Han people have a saying: ‘A guest should feel at home.’ Since I am your guest, naturally, Madame should do her best to accommodate me,” Song Qingshu said righteously, his shamelessness on full display.

“You really are a scoundrel,” she sighed, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear before slipping into his bed.

“Chu-chupt-nggh~”

“Hiss—”

Soon, Song Qingshu’s face showed a look of extreme pleasure. He leisurely ran his fingers over Madame Tang’s curves and sighed in satisfaction, “Now, this is the proper way to wake a man up.”

“Nymph-chu-chupt-nmh~”

It was unclear how much time had passed before Madame Tang suddenly coughed violently. She quickly climbed out from under the c0vers, giving Song Qingshu a resentful glare.

“Hmph, are a scoundrel!” she muttered, wiping her lips with a handkerchief.

Song Qingshu chuckled, hooking his finger under her chin and tapping it lightly.

“Nhhm…gulp.” Madame Tang’s throat moved, and a soft swallowing sound echoed in the room.

“Madam, your hospitality is overwhelming. I shall get up now,” Song Qingshu said with a satisfied nod.

Madame Tang wiped her mouth again and gave him a sharp glare. Yet, as she looked at this handsome and rugged man before her, she realized she wasn’t angry at all. ṟаNοꞖÊṢ

“You take your time freshening up. I’ve been here for a while already—I should check on my brother,” she said before quickly turning to leave. However, her hurried steps betrayed her inner fluster, as if she feared staying any longer would invite more of Song Qingshu’s wicked demands.

Watching her sway gracefully as she walked away, Song Qingshu clicked his tongue in admiration. “What a w0man!”

After washing up, Song Qingshu stepped into the courtyard and found Madame Tang returning with a troubled expression. He couldn’t help but laugh.

“Madame, it seems you care for me after all. What’s the matter? Your brother hasn’t woken up yet?”

Madame Tang pouted. “I went to wake him up, but he chased me out. He even told me not to disturb him all day because he wants to sleep properly. Hmph! And he calls himself a heavy drinker! Last night, you both drank so much, but you were like a tiger all night, yet still full of energy this morning. Meanwhile, he’s dead to the world. Hmph! Just wait till he sobers up—I’m going to mock him properly and see if he still brags about his drinking skills!”

“Your brother truly holds his liquor well. If I hadn’t sweated it all out on Madame last night, I might have ended up just as drunk as him,” Song Qingshu said, his gaze roaming over her body.

“Young Master, you’re terrible~” Madame Tang playfully hit him with her delicate fist.

After some playful banter, Madame Tang straightened her slightly disheveled hair and smoothed her wrinkled dress. Blushing, she said, “Since Young Master rarely visits Kaifeng, allow me to act as your host and show you around this ancient city.”

Song Qingshu had been looking for an opportunity to ask her about Song Yuanqiao and the others. Hearing this, he readily agreed. “I’d love that.”

The two walked through the city together. Madame Tang seemed to be in high spirits, acting like a young girl as she eagerly explored the bustling streets. With her stunning beauty, she naturally attracted much attention. However, upon noticing the warriors escorting her, no one dared to cause trouble.

Song Qingshu observed everything carefully, feeling relieved. When they had left earlier, Madame Tang hadn’t wanted to bring any guards, insisting that having him by her side was enough. But the guards, unaware of his true abilities, refused to let their mistress wander off unprotected. In the end, Song Qingshu had stepped in, allowing them to follow. After all, while he could keep Madame Tang safe, her striking beauty was bound to attract trouble. Having guards around would at least save him some unnecessary hassle.

“By the way, your brother holds an important position guarding the palace. Why is he in Kaifeng?” Song Qingshu asked casually, though he strongly suspected Tang Kuobian’s presence here was linked to the disappearance of the Wudang heroes.

“I’m not entirely sure. He mentioned that while this trip is officially a vacation, he also has a secret mission to complete,” Madame Tang replied absentmindedly, picking up a skewer of candied fruit from a street vendor. Her focus was clearly more on whether the treat was tasty rather than on the information she had just revealed.

Song Qingshu didn’t press further, not wanting to arouse suspicion. Instead, he silently pondered her words.

“Rong’er, what are you looking at?”

In a nearby inn, a man wearing a bamboo hat stepped to the window, curiously gazing at his stunning wife.
