However, in just a moment…

The Void Energy erupted within the huge Bear-Like hand of the Druid Village Chief.

In an instant, it bypassed the Bear’s thick skin and flesh, infiltrating every corner of the Druid Village Chief’s body. Within moments, it transformed into countless sharp spikes, bursting out from his every pore.

*Ahhhhh…* A blood-curdling scream rang out as the ten meter tall Bear staggered, and numerous wisps of purple energy emanated from his body. They writhed like venomous snakes, eroding everything within the Druid Village Chief.

At a pace visible to the naked eye, his body began to turn purple as if he had been poisoned.

At that moment, Bernice made no hesitation, nor would she ever hesitate. Her body shook , and in an instant, she transformed into a large purple bird.

*Screeeeech…* A sharp cry echoed through the sky.

Then, with a thunderous flap of her wings, Bernice transformed into a purple streak of lightning, tearing through the night sky.

Her wings transformed into blades, slicing through the Giant Bear’s neck and sending a fountain of blood spurting into the air.

“Village Chief…”

“Father… no, no…”

…

Cries of disbelief and grief filled the forest, but the only response they received was a resounding *boom*, as the massive Bear collapsed to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Visibly, a small pool of blood started forming around the fallen Village Chief.

This was Bernice’ current strength. Despite having only just stepped into Tier-3, she was able to kill a seasoned Tier-3 Transcendent with just one blow.

Of course, part of this was due to the Druid Village Chief’s lack of knowledge about Void Energy.

But more importantly, Void Energy was simply too terrifying.

Its ability to bypass most defenses doomed anyone who dared to directly confront it to a tragic end.

…

It was the middle of the night, yet this small forest was far from peaceful: Heart-wrenching screams, wails, and shouts of despair filled the entire forest.

Looking from the distance, a purple Druid Girl could be seen walking through the village, step by step. She looked like a cold, heartless machine, whose meaning of existence was to harvest life.

The only one in Star and Moon Village capable of stopping Bernice—the Village Chief—had already fallen in one strike.

The other villagers could only watch helplessly as Bernice slowly approached them. She was like the embodiment of death. Even her slow steps filled the villagers with unimaginable fear.

“Bernice, please, spare him, spare him! He’s only six years old!” A Druid Woman shouted in a heart-wrenching voice.

However, the heart-wrenching shout received no response. Rather, it could be said that, apart from her interactions with Yu Zi Yu, Bernice had lost all ability to express herself.

Swiftly and decisively, she swung her blade.

But suddenly, with a loud *bang*, she was suddenly forced back several steps.

Slowly lifting her gaze, she saw a tall figure in the distance weaved from countless rootlets emerging from the ground.

Bernice retracted her energy and slowly bowed her head.

“Greetings, Master.”

“En…” Yu Zi Yu nodded slightly in response, a hint of amusement in his gaze as he looked at the current Bernice.

[She truly has become a killing machine. I’ve to admit, the corruption of the void is truly terrifying.] With this in mind, Yu Zi Yu glanced back at the remaining elderly, sick, and wounded villagers of Star and Moon Village, silently thinking to himself, [What a pity! I didn’t expect things to go this far.]

Yu Zi Yu absolutely could not get himself exposed. Considering that there were Gods in this world, especially the God of Dreams, who could enter the dreams of Mortals—Yu Zi Yu had to take precautions.

If he let these people go and one day they had a nightmare, exposing him and the power of the Void Space to the God of Dreams, it could ruin everything.

With this thought, Yu Zi Yu shook his head and sighed. “Rest in peace.”

Slowly raising his hand, he gently pressed down on the entire village.

*Booooom, booooom…* One thunderous explosion rang after another as the entire village sank under an invisible force.

In mere moments, a giant handprint hundreds of meters wide was imprinted into the ground.

At the same time, to be sure, Yu Zi Yu softly whispered, “The Advent of the Tree World.”

As soon as these words escaped his mouth, Spiritual Energy surged, and the ground quaked again and again. At the same time, countless sprouts burst forth from the ground, growing at a rapid pace. Within moments, the entire village had turned into a forest.

What was even more terrifying was that this erased every little trace of Bernice’ lingering aura.

This was the terrifying nature of Yu Zi Yu’s Advent of the Tree World. It could alter the terrain while erasing traces of anything that had been there. It was, without a doubt, the best ability for covering up murders and theft.

In fact, not everyone was completely erased. Four Druid Children, entangled in the nearby branches, as well as a Blood Elf—a High Elf—remained.

…

Time slowly passed, and the forest gradually returned to its former tranquility.

After some time, with a loud roar, a verdant vortex manifested suddenly behind Yu Zi Yu. The vortex was not large, but it was sufficient.

Without thinking, Yu Zi Yu raised his hand and sent the four Druid Children into the vortex.

“Aurora, take care of these Druid Brats and train them.”

“Yes, Master.” Amidst a melodious laughter, a streak of prismatic light flashed in the depths of the verdant vortex.

It was Aurora. She resided in the deepest part of one of Yu Zi Yu’s Nine Realms of Heaven—the Pocket of Vitality.

Aside from Aurora, many other beings also lived in the Nine Realms of Heaven. And this was the source of Yu Zi Yu’s confidence.

Even if he was discovered, he could forcibly tear open this world and unleash the armies from the Nine Realms of Heaven.

However, the space within the Nine Realms of Heaven was ultimately limited.

As of now, his combat forces numbered less than 200,000.

While that number might be sufficient for a conflict between nations, in a collision between worlds, it was far from enough.

Moreover, it was important to note that Yu Zi Yu could not fully open the Nine Realms of Heaven in this world.

His true body remained deep within the Void Space, with the nine vortices of the Nine Realms of Heaven—their entrances—forever revolving around it.

Currently, what had infiltrated this world was merely a portion of his Cosmic Root and his consciousness. To fully open the Nine Realms of Heaven, his true body would have to enter this world, and that would be the point Yu Zi Yu would be locked in an all-out war with entire Elysia.

For now, however, Yu Zi Yu had only found a crack through which he could align the entrance to the Nine Realms of Heaven and take in these few Druid Children.

In simpler terms, the rift Yu Zi Yu had torn open in this world only allowed for lifeforms at or below Tier-2 to pass through.

That was why this part of his Cosmic Root had only maintained a power level of a Tier-2 when it entered this world.
